Fire Emblem Day 1

Our boy Rico (woot woot!) thrust his long, hard sword into the last enemy soldier.

"Those troops looked like they were from Badguyia," Marshal said. "But why would Badguyia attack us? They've always been on good terms with Goodguyia."

A petite girl with purple hair poked her head out of her hiding spot behind a tree. "Excuse me! Did you say you were from Goodguyia?"

Lord Rico looked at his men. They nodded. "I guess so. Sup babe?"

"You haven't heard about the invasion? Badguyia has attacked everywhere. Goodguyia, Allyia, even Nomadia and Neutralia. Rumor has it that they've laid siege to Castle Hometown and King Ricosdad has been injured."

"This is serious," Jim said with an equally serious face. "We must ride to the king's aid at once!"

"Hey if you boys are going to fight Badguyia, you'll need a healer to treat your wounds. I'll come with you. Now take off your armor so I can make sure you're okay."

At that moment, a beautiful woman in a white dress rode up to the party. A muscular young man sprinted up after her, stopping to catch his breath.

"In the name of justice, I will slay you all!" shouted the beautiful woman. "Oh. There you are Sprityo. What are you doing with the Badguyia army? Honestly. I look away for one minute and you're running off with some boy." She smacked Ron on the head with her staff. "Put your armor back on you dirty sexy man. Disgusting!"

"But Princess Epi," Sprityo protested, "this is the Goodguyia army. We should join them."

"No! We are a wandering trio of adventurers so there must only be three of us. And I don't know why you called me that strange name but I am most definitely not a princess. MacDougal, Sprityo. We ride!" And with that, the beautiful woman did that thing where the horse goes up on its back legs and then took off in the direction she had come from.

"Nice to meet you guys," Mac said. He then picked up Sprityo and ran after Epi.

"Call me!" Sprityo shouted back to Ron.

The Goodguyian soldiers looked at one other. "What just happened?"

No one has been lynched. Night 1 begins now and will last 24 hours. Get your actions in by 23.

Mafia fakeclaims are just fakeclaims. They're powers and story bits that those players would have gotten if they were town.

My standard (read: made up since this game started) replacement policy is to replace once a day and night phase are skipped. That would mean Rabbit is in need of replacement at the end of the night phase with Lap being 4 hours behind that.

Night 2

Marshal brought a light blue haired woman named Dunya to Prince Rico. "My lord. We caught this woman trying to steal our vulneraries."

Rico's eyes lit up. "You can steal stuff? What kinda stuff?"

"Mostly vulneraries."

"You're hired. We don't have a cleric yet."

"Now wait a minute! What about compensation?"

"50-50 chance we form a mercenary company during this game. I'll give you 10%."

The blue haired woman considered this. "Deal." Of course, she never intended any other outcome. Lord Sloonei would be mad if Dunya didn't keep an eye on his friend.

Bunny the pegasus knight was relaxing for once in her life. The oldest and most serious of her sisters, she rarely got a day off.

Today, though, she was alone with nothing to do. Perhaps that's what Pointer was counting on.

When the job was done, Bunny's body faded away. Pointer smiled. This would prove his worth to Badguyia.

Rabbit8 has been nightkilled by the mafia.

Day 2 begins.

Thread unlocked.

Yesterday's lock from 3pm to midnight was intentional. I wanted to move the deadline outside of normal working hours as well as allow time for Speed to catch up somewhat and let everyone have a happy valentine's day. I should have been more clear about this.

Today's lock from what looks like 7am to 12:30 pm was not intentional. Not sure if I clicked a button on accident or if someone else locked the thread but it should have been opened.

To prevent further confusion, I'll be clearly stating when I'm locking the thread. If I don't say the thread is locked, I'd appreciate admins unlock it for me.

Voting deadline is 2/16 Friday just before midnight CST. I'm working on getting the poll to reflect this.

Yes you and MM would be on the same team, but I wasn't being that serious with that scum slips rarely happen.

I pointed this out with the Buffy game, mafia started out by killing inactive players at night instead of active and potentially dangerous civs. The mafia team ended up having SVS and Eloh both on it, they're both TS vets. I've noticed this pattern in a few other games especially when I first joined, I could probably dig up older games to prove it, but I'm to busy atm. I'd just take note of it and maybe track/investigate people who're more likely to do this.

I could also see Mac suggesting it seeing how I used that logic in our last game, but that's a tin foil.

Fire Emblem Day 2

In the middle of the desert, a man with a scar over his face pursued a cloaked woman. He had been following her for many miles, slowly gaining over time. Eventually, the cloaked woman stopped and let him catch up to her.

"Lapulie, also known as the Whirlwind?" the scarred man asked.

"Who wants to know?" the cloaked woman replied, drawing a knife.

The scarred man drew his own blade, a six foot long monster of a sword. "Col. Bob, head of Bob's Brigade."

"You hiring?" the woman asked tentatively. "I'm looking to change employers."

"Sorry, lady. I'm looking to collect, not spend. King Ricosdad has put a bounty on Badguyian soldiers and an extra bonus on particularly nasty customers like yourse-"

The scarred mercenary was cut off by an arrow entering his chest.

The Whirlwind turned to see an angry looking nomad on horseback fire a second arrow. Having earned her nickname, Lapulie was faster than Bob but the arrow still managed to snag her cloak, pinning her to the sand. She tugged at her cloak, managing to tear away. The horse slammed into her, sending the thief rolling down a sand dune.

"You are trespassing," the nomad said with a scowl. He readied another arrow. "Your kind isn't wanted here."

The nomad spit blood. He had just enough time to look down and see the tip of the large sword sticking out of his chest before his life bar hit zero and he faded away. Col Bob shouldered his sword, ignoring the nomad's blood dripping from it, more conscious of his own blood from the arrow wound he had sustained.

"Stolen any vulunaries lately, Whirlwind?"

"I might have a few on me," the cloaked woman smiled, "Boss."

"So you see, we have need of your talents. There are many wounded soldiers, not to mention prisoners. Surely you won't turn your back on them."

"Well no but I'm not really..."

"Perfect. Welcome to the Badguyia army. You have my thanks. Excuse me, madam. There's work to be done."

"But I'm not a..." the monk tried to protest but Ring was already gone. "Oh dear."

Prince Rico, his knights and their thief rode for Castle Hometown.

"Ayiyiyi! Time to save my daddy."

Little did they know was that they were too late.

General Colin and a young Nomadian swordsman named Luffy held the gate. Colin's years of training and military experience showed as he struck down anyone who approached. In contrast, it was Luffy's pure rage that made him so fearsome as he bounced around the battlefield.

A wyvern rider approached. "In the name of my brother, prepare to die!"

"Hold off, kid," Colin told Luffy. "This one's mine."

"I'm no child!" Luffy snapped.

"Maybe not but if you go up against his lance that toothpick of a sword, you might as well be. Now scoot!"

The general fought bravely but in the end, his experience was no match for the strength and reflexes of the wyvern. The first stab wound wasn't so bad but the second was a crit and that was that.

"I guess it was time for retirement...after all."

With that, he faded away as the Badguyia army funneled past to take the castle. Within minutes, the King was their prisoner.

King Ricosdad struggled against the dark energy that held him. "I'll never talk!" he gasped.

Pinky shook her head with a smile. "You will tell me where the Fire Emblem is and you will die."

"Uh...don't you mean 'or you will die?'"

"No. No, I don't."

The King screamed in pain as the darkness enveloped him.

Elsewhere, a man in a dark cloak did vague dark magic researchy things. Or at least he did before someone punched him in the face.

"Middle?" the cloaked one choked out. "How did you find me?"

"Well, we've been looking into dragons. Following up on leads. That sort of thing. You wouldn't know anything about...dragons, would you, Tony?"

The shaman took a deep breath and then breathed out a stream of fire.

"That's what I'm talking about!" Middle shouted.

Pixels flashed as the shaman morphed into a full sized dragon and the maniac launched himself across the room to avoid each fiery blast. Ultimately, it was the shaman's low skill stat that did him in. He couldn't have actually hit the enemy no matter how many chances he got. Middle on the other hand had strength and skill to spare and it showed in the final blow that severed the dragon's everything.

"I suppose my research will go...unfinished."

And he faded out too.

"Sup DDL? Where's my dad?"

The nomadian shook his head.

"Noooooooooooooooooooo! This sucks!"

Tonystarkprime has been killed by the mafia. He was secretly a dragon. (Town)

Coliniscool has been killed by a critical hit. He was a general who came out of retirement. (Town)

It's a believable scenario. He has made numerous derpy type posts which mafia teammates, if they exist, will worry about more than they probably should. That kind of thing tends to bring about distancing.

Fire Emblem Day 3

"Thank you for your cooperation," Pinky said smugly, dropping the king to the floor. She left the room and found two of the other Fingers waiting.

"Thumb, I'm putting you in charge, here. I have other matters to attend to."

As soon as Pinky had left, Thumb turned to Pointer. "I'm leaving you in charge of defense. I'm off to try to convince our king this invasion is a mistake."

Once Thumb was gone, Pointer left Sigmund in charge, who left Gwil in charge, who pretended that Sigmund had told him to put a mid level knight that had just been introduced in charge.

"I've never seen one so big," Princess Speedie said, biting her lip.

"Do you want to hold it?" Prince Sloonei asked, peppering Speedie's neck with loving kisses.

"Maybe a little..."

The princess ran her fingers along the shaft, slowly making her way to the tip. She hesitated. "This is weird, right?"

"How so?"

"I mean, I can't even wield a lance on the battlefield so it's weird for me to be playing with one now. I'm really more of a swords kinda girl."

"Is it weird to be doing this in the middle of sex?"

"Oh, no. I'm into it."

At that moment, Dunya entered the room. "Whoopsie." She covered her eyes. "Didn't know you two were having sibling bonding time. I'll...just come back later."

Rico's peeps made short work of the enemy garrison. In the end, Jim faced the knight one on one.

The knight stabbed and Jim dodged. The second attack hit for minimal damage. The third and fourth attacks both missed and the fifth did a little more damage.

"Why isn't he fighting back?" Ron asked Marshal.

"Lord Rico made him give me his weapons so he wouldn't hog all the experience."

"Oi! Jimmyjimjim!" Rico tossed Jim an iron sword. Jim caught it in the air, spun his horse around majestically and sliced the knight cleanly in half.

Jim fell from his horse. His side was bleeding badly. His friends rushed to his side.

"This wound!" Marshal exclaimed. "What happened?"

Jim groaned "Middle attacked me. I didn't say anything because yesterday's host post was already too long. I'm sorry, Rico. I've failed you."

Jim faded away.

"Noooooooooooooo!" Rico shouted. "He was like a father to me!"

DDL poked his head around the corner. "Hey Prince Rico? Your father is dead."

"Noooooooooooooo!" Rico shouted. "He was like a father to me!"

JaggedJimmyJay has been lynched. He was an OP mentor. (Town)

Vote stealing causes the player whose vote is stolen to count for zero and their normal vote count (ie 1 for most players, 2 for double voters, etc) is added to the stealer's vote count (making them a double, triple, etc voter for the day).

Night 3

Epi, Mac and Sprityo sat around a campfire.

“Good work, you two,” Epi said with a dazzling smile. “Thanks to your support, I was able to stop those Badguyian ruffians from killing anyone.”

“Excuse me your highness,” Mac said, humbly. “But I’m pretty sure I stopped the Badguyian kill.”

Epi bonked Mac on the head with her staff. “Lying to a princess is a very serious crime you know. I’ll let you off with a warning.”

Sprityo used her own staff to heal Mac. “You both did very well. I especially love the way Mac’s big biceps look.” She reached out and gave his muscular arm a feel.

“You mean when I’m swinging my axe on the battlefield?”

“Just in general. Anyway, we all did well but it was pretty obvious to me that I’m the one that stopped the Badguyia kill.”

Princess Epi hit Sprityo on the head, too. Sprityo rubbed her head and gave Epi a look of pure pitifulness. Epi rolled her eyes and healed Sprityo with her staff.

The wyvern rider flew towards the pegasus rider with death in his eyes. The pegasus rider flew towards the wyvern rider with determination in hers. At breakneck speed, they closed the distance between them. At the last moment, the shy pegasus rider closed her eyes in fear and threw her javelin.

It missed by a mile.

Sigmund’s lance did not. The poor pegasus was skewered and it’s rider was thrown overboard. As she fell towards the ground, she managed to cry out “Hazel!” but her sister wasn’t there to save her. When she landed, the impact was enough to make her fade away.

Prince Rico had his father buried. After the brief funeral, a young mage dressed like a banana approached the group. “Excuse me. Lord Rico? My name is Kenway. They traveled to a hidden, vaguely magical forest nearby to meet the banana mage’s teacher, a wise old sage named Kylemii (son of the equally great sage from the prequel game, Ticklemii).

“Great sage Kylemii,” Marshal implored, “Please provide us wisdom to aid the party.”

“Stop letting Rico be in charge,” Kylemii advised. “He’s an idiot who didn’t want to play this awesome game. Put Sloonei in charge.”

“But I think Sloonei’s Lanistering his sister.”

“Doesn’t matter. Sloonei is half based on Ephraim and half based on Hector. He’s fucking invincible. With Sloonei on our side, we should be able to easily beat the Badguyian army.”

In the morning, Sprityo snuck out of her sleeping bag and crawled over to Mac’s. Only, Mac wasn’t inside. She and Epi waited and waited but Mac never came back. He wasn’t the kind of person to skip out on a contract since he needed the money so badly. Someone must have attacked him but whoever had done so hadn’t left behind any clues.

Long Con has been killed by a critical hit. She was a shy sister. (Town)

A regular misdirect on a player targeting nobody would result in that player still targeting nobody. A "controlled misdirect" or "command" (same thing) would allow the commander to choose their target's target, even if the original target was nobody. Lightning rods would still affect a player who targets nobody.

“Quin?”

“That’s me,” the young swordsman said.

Ring smiled. “I hear you’re quite the fighter.”

“I’ll be the best before this war is over. Swordplay is all I do. If I find someone better than me, I study them and train twice as hard until I can beat them.”

“Admirable...but not the healthiest attitude. We’ll provide a reasonable wage and plenty of enemies to test yourself. In the meantime, go see our cleric, Gwilly. See if she’s got a therapy staff.”

Sloonei tore through the pirate group, killing mercenaries, myrmidons and fighters alike with his lance like this.

“What is wrong with you punks? Don’t you know there’s a war going on? Disgusting.”

The last member of the pirate band, an actual pirate named Wilgy, sneered and strode forward, twirling his twin axes. He swung them both together but Sloonei pivoted backwards to avoid the attack and then hit the pirate the the chest with the butt of his spear.

“Who do you think you are?” Sloonei stabbed the pirate through his right forearm, causing him to drop an axe. He tore the other axe out of the brigand’s hand and tossed it aside. “You think you can fight halfway against me? Do you think I pick fights I can’t win?”

“You ask a lot of questions,” the pirate said with a grin.

“Then why don’t you answer him?” Speedie asked. “Who are you?”

The pirate looked at one lord, then the other. He figured this wouldn’t hurt his chances. “I’m nobody. Captain pulled me out of the water a few years back. Can’t remember anything that came before that. As far as I know, I’ve got nothing and nobody to live for.”

Sloonei looked at his sister, shrugged, then skewered the pirate. Wilgy faded away.

“What did you do that for?” Speedie shouted.

“Do what for?”

“Kill that pirate. He was obviously someone who could be recruited. He had a mysterious backstory. Hell, he wasn’t a boss and he had a name.

Sloonei rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

“From now on,” the princess told her brother, “I decide who you’re going to kill before you do it. You’re not careful. You’re not subtle.”

“Why so serious?”

“If we keep lynching townies, this game is going to end before we get another sex scene. Now let’s catch up to Dunya and find Rico before things get any worse.”

Wilgy has been lynched. He was somebody’s brother. (Town)
