I'll expand. His involvement in this game has been significant in one arena to my memory -- the Jacktella combat. And his part in that combat was to parrot Jack (both against nutella and in favor of nutella) such that he had no personal accountability for nutella's eventual flip. He left all of it on Jack's lap.JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Sat Feb 29, 2020 7:13 pm I could lynch Mac for the crime of being irrelevant.

speedchuck is clearly pressed for time. I'm willing to give some benefit of the doubt until he can integrate himself more deeply into the game. Radish has been a consistent presence, made a lot of posts, and despite that I've never felt any inspiration from him. He started the game saying a lot of nothing. More recently he has provided reads, but for essentially all of them I find myself asking questions about their validity or outright doubting their sincerity.

Please show me this. I haven't been bothered by Jack since the nutella thing, but I grant that in his extended absence I forgot about him. That's atypical.Sloonei wrote: ↑Sun Mar 01, 2020 3:44 amI can’t see anything but town Jack in this game. If there's one read you should come back to if/when I die it should be this one. I can best summarise it by saying that he feels like he is only half attempting to scum hunt when compared to his actual range. Which would be forgiveable if he wasn't also ever present. He is holding back. Actually this is probably explains why I've had suspicion on a range of other players too. Jay, Sloonei, S~V~S, TSP, Dyslexicon all fit the bill.

Mac's greatest civilian weakness in my eyes is that he does not effectively shake himself free of his reads -- for better or for worse. I don't mean to be an arse, Mac's a great player. We all have a weakness somewhere. Mac does not easily shed suspicion, and he does not easily shed trust. So no, I don't think his reversal on nutella is a good reason to call him a civilian. That's not his game.

It was bizarre and of of nowhere, and after sleeping on it I feel like it was an attempt to slide the conversation back to a previous discussion (lynching a low poster, which both nanook and I had expressed tentative support for a little while earlier) without directly endorsing it or making it too obvious what he was doing. It looked like an awkward attempt at a transition disguised as a joke. If he genuinely wanted us to look at a low poster, he just needed to say so.

I view TH as a solid civilian read. Qualifying that substantively is difficult for TH given that his posts are so brief -- that's his Thing so whatever. It's my intuition. I haven't found his stances hard to believe; they fit well within the persona I associate with his civilian body. He is frank and sometimes contrarian, and when he has provided explanations I haven't struggled to follow.
