Reading through LC's iso... I see a lot of questions being asked but he hasn't really done much follow up work on many of the things, other than his view on Nutella. In general, in comparison to fiddler mafia I'm seeing a more relaxed and less focused LC.

I'd appreciate if some other Roof Builders would compare and contrast LC's early game behavior between this game and that one.

It looks to me like a real attempt to get a peek into Jack's mindset. I think a mafia Nutella would be content to let Jack be suspicious of me, and would... I think be more averse to associating herself with behavior that Jack already finds suspicious.

Jack I like the idea and flavor behind emoji posting, and I think every game has room for a little bit of inscrutable behavior, but I'm not sure a game where we already have to deal with a frequently inscrutable Wilgy and Rabbit who is basically just a rude and loud Wilgy.

you're talking about a player i voted for at the start of the day. INH that's how pressure votes work. You vote a player with an accusation and see how they respond. If they respond favorably you move it.

I have a question for you as well actually. This games day 0 and 1 have been the least focused starter phases of any game I've seen since returning. Do you have any ideas on why that might have been?

I want to elaborate on my jack read. He's been Wilgying, and that's fine. He's also expressed suspicions and that's good, but I haven't seen him trying to actually push any of his reads. every player that isn't Wilgy who starts out with a self-imposed limitation ends up dropping it as soon as it actually starts to inhibit their play.

if the language used in his one actual text post were accurate to the way he felt about me then why didn't he push for my lynch, specially when he said "eyeroll emoji" and "wolf emoji" about me

well in a way i kinda was asking about you. i think the thing that gave previous games such early focused efforts was the sort of.... early ice water splash reads that got people talking. In this game our closest equivalent was Mac's transparent prod at Nutella and my prod at glorfindel neither of which caused many strong reactions or interactions.... idk. It just seems like there's some kind of imbalance.

Kyle and mac, you two seem to have totaklt differing views on nutella but you haven't addressed those reads much. Also, how do two of you feel about each other?

I don't think Mac and I having different views on things is that surprising, based on my experience playing with him. We have different approaches toward the game and especially towards reading players.

Mac himself seems more relaxed than how I'm used to seeing him so far. He seems to be making more jokes than I've seen him do before, but the jokes are still intermixed with prods of suspicion. I don't see anything in particular that sticks out about him as suspicious. Were a gun placed against my head I'd put him in the town bucket, I think.

Sloonei's posts I don't like just as a vibe as I struggle to see whether they posts as a civ throwing mud and seeing what sticks or a baddie just stirring trouble. However, from how others have reacted this seems his typical game style so hard to judge.

sloonei is very much the kind of player that aims to create discussion and pull players back into discussion when they're not quite in it. I don't know if I've seen his mafia play.

Jack's posts are going to get old pretty quick. I'm not looking to lynch him at all right now, but I question whether this is normal behaviour for him? I think it would be pretty easy to get the ball rolling as an easy lynch. If he is civ, I don't really know how he's helping himself or others with his posts..

this isn't something i've seen from Jack before. I've mostly viewed him as a seriousbusinesstype player. In a recent game there was a day phase where every almost every player was cursed at once. making cases, sharing ideas, and communicating were made significantly more difficult. I can't understand why Jack would want to recreate that struggle voluntarily.

i don't think his apparent personal challenge is alignment indicative by itself, i don't want to live in a world where players are discouraged from fucking off and play mafia using only pictures of cats or whatever, but I also don't think he should be excused if his contribution isn't what it should be.
