Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 2]
If one kill is a Cop, then I'd put it on Tony. I thought he looked suspicious at EoD.
I liked a tie in order to see if it flushed out anything interesting, but I didn't want to leave it as a tie at the end of the die because I suspected Drago more.
Well, I took him to 9 when it was tied 8-8.
I'd like to believe that the wolves were split up on a somewhat even ratio, but lynchers gotta lynch either way.Benson wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2019 6:28 pmGood catch.nutella wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2019 6:23 pmFirst of all how do you know there are two groups and not say three? We have everything back to the beginning of the game in this thread. Why do we get to own it? Does the other thread(s) have a copy of the whole thread? If not, they are running on memory and current-phase-only stuff. Of course, they might not be lynching at all.

Did anyone come up with something towny about Hyena for you? Your suspicion on Hyena seems to be based off a comparison to a game where he was bad and one where he was good. It's pretty vague, can you show us something more specific?
This read doesn't look legit. If Eva flips town, then it feels like TMI, and if she flips bad, then it looks like w/w, because there isn't anything to support the read. Eva being a strong lynch possibility during most of Day 1 doesn't help the case.Trustworthy Liberal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 3:41 pmFrom her early post and her attempt at leading come from a towny place to me, don't know I I missed anything of more recent places but from what I've read I like her but knowing she's a strong player makes me more reluctant to give the complete town read thous the slight still would rather see more from her when I have more timeMichelle wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 3:39 pmThanks, about Eve what gives you the TR?Trustworthy Liberal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 3:35 pmI have slight reads for some player poated earlier but this I them I am more confident on my town reads then skim reads not gonna lie but pretty confident on the town ones also why i would prefore not lynching Eve today feeling leaving her alove another day will help sort her out more also why it's juat slight atm.Michelle wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 3:27 pmhi.Trustworthy Liberal wrote: ↑Tue Oct 29, 2019 3:24 pm Michelle you wanted to talk if you are around So am i

Scum lean on him based off what he did push when he was fairly active so willing to lynch this today, him missing for a long period doesn't make him look any better either.

That's the game where I was masoned with the Civ squad but also was on the baddie team! That took some massively hectic manipulation, I remember jumping back and forth between chats in the last minutes of the day trying to coordinate night actions just right.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 2]
Looking a little at Spiny's ISO today.
The Eva part is worth analysis, after Drago's flip. If the Eva-Drago thing was a distancing ploy between them as someone suggested, then it looks bad on Spiny. He does offer an offhanded nod about Drago's scumminess, but I don't know if I could craft a weaker agreement. Even with Eva being town in this scenario, Spiny looks a little shady. Scum lean over here.
He almost suspects iiafr for the odd 112 townread, but he turns it around shortly after when he gets caught up to iaafr's updated opinions, which looks pretty good to me. Could be a w-w strategy kind of thing, but I'd lean town on it.
The Mac part doesn't make me lean either way, but bringing it back to Eva is .
So much for looking at the ISO - I got to this post and used up all my time. Oh well, I'll post it, and I'll be around a few more times before the Day's end. Right now, I feel like I could vote for Spiny. Not my old pal boo, just Spiny.
This is a nice post that bears remembering (especially if the thread is lost to us in the future).Spiny Creature wrote: ↑Sun Oct 27, 2019 6:16 am ok if i'm gonna start posting from the point I'm caught up at, these were my ~vibes~
anyway Eva is town. and not JUST because her savagery in response to Drago's flirting attempts was the most beautiful effortless thing she's ever done. (more because of her responses to iaafr and 112). Her read that Drago continuing that flirting so long was trying to force conversation, thus scummy, was not one that would've occurred to me, but ig she could be right there.
I do not understand where iaafr's "always town" read of 112 started or came from or what the vibe is that he likes, even though he has since made posts explaining it. i like other posts of iaafr and his overall tone, but that whole read is so ???? to me.
lol at Mac saying he's policy never-lynching me and then immediately asking other people to build a case on me :P that and some overly defensive early posts / questioning things I thought were obvious had me side-eyeing him. but i liked his later posts. will see how he engages with Eva.
I do vibe with IAAFR saying that there's too much "hey i like this guy" and "this guy can be town" going on. from loose recollection Hyena and Epi felt like offenders there. Hyena maybe felt less sincere? this is loose memory.

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 2]
It's tough to judge vanity without ever having played with him before. Exasperated claims to his villagery-ness don't really do a lot for me.
I don't like the look of boo's hop on to the vanity vote though, it looks opportunistic. The "Did you miss the D1 lynch result? The only "we" that makes sense there is you're mafia..." is not something that feels like honest scumhunting either.
Looks like the TL wagon isn't really taking off, so I'll check out the boo one instead. [VOTE: spiny boo] aubergine

I don't really understand. What he said is what I got from Tony's flip as well.Hyena wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:29 pm Okay, I've decided what I wanted to do with TLib. Sorry for doing this, TLib.I recall someone mentioning that scum gets fakeclaims to use. Is this correct? Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 2]
I did not have the same perspective as you on the "lazy" thing. He wasn't saying you didn't put time and care into the post, he was saying that it is mentally lazy to copy and paste someone else's thoughts rather than come up with your own.juliets wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:40 pmNo, I'm not saying it should. But being called lazy? That was just harsh and rude and uncalled for.Benson wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:38 pmWhoa, it was just a suspicion Juliets! I don't think you're bad, lazy, or anything negative. You have put in substantial work, I see that.juliets wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:33 pmThen by all means vote for me. I am tired of this game. I have been called a bad player because I am methodical and meticulous, I have been called lazy after I worked my ass off on that vote analysis and put all my effort into responding to people. I have been compared to some cartoon character I don't even know. I spend all my free time on this game and am not enjoying it. Its like another job.
I can die and join the spectator chat and have fun with Ty4on and whoever else is there, maybe TSP and Texas. I can speculate and be myself, cautious and methodical.
Maybe you will learn something from my lynch. I am humor by the way, how ironic.
Being productive doesn't preclude you being a wolf in my mind.
I totally get why you made that post with points from Elephant, because you explained it understandably. It couldn't be any other way because it was a specific answer to a question, like "what was it about Elephant's case you liked" or something.
vanity reacted worse to it than I think was warranted, but he was getting upset about not being townread for his natural towniness, so... not altogether reasonable to me.

I have reason to think the first few groups have a wolf in each pair. The latter groups are more or less random.

Enh, boo's not the only one to make some inferences. I think I posted something similar to his quote here.Benson wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 3:30 pmLet's talk about this. Is it TMI? Or is it a reasonable inference?boo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 9:03 amShouldn't be a problem, this is the 'real' thread, since we have the whole post history. They would have had to make a new one for the other group(s), can't copy and paste them. Unless they blow up this thread and move everyone to the other one. That'd be kinda evil though.juliets wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 8:48 am One more thing and I'll shut up.
In some of the games I've played where they split up the thread, once you are back with the big group you no longer have access to the split thread. Some you do have access. Because of that I'm saving some stuff in word documents like my voting records. You might want to do the same.

Fair enough, but I already had some suspicion of your predecessor, so it wasn't that difficult to cast this vote.boo wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 2:47 pmThat was one in a series of responses I made to him, so I think you're missing a fair bit of context there.Long Con wrote: ↑Fri Nov 01, 2019 1:33 pm It's tough to judge vanity without ever having played with him before. I'm also not sure you're in a position to call me opportunistic and then say "so I'll check out [something else, opportunistically]" :P

Re: Inception [Subconscious Phase 2]
I want to give you some info on my next couple of days. I'm going to work shortly, and I won't be around at lynch time, though I'll be sneaking off to a bathroom in order to see what's going on if I can. Then it's night, and the thread gets closed 24 hours. Tomorrow morning, I go to an overnight Beavers camp with my son, at a canoe museum. So I won't really be in the thread to any great degree until Sunday... I guess we get back around noon. All times Eastern Standard.
I'll have my phone at the camp, and I'll probably be doing some catching up at bedtime. Don't know if I'll be posting, maybe some short phone thoughts.

Mostly agree on that. Benson town, nutella looks town, Hyena also town. I'd say vanity is the wolfiest one on the boo train.
Here's where I sit after catching up:
NANOOKTHEGREATANDFEARSOME
nutella
Hyena
vanity.

I do have to do some rereads, I want to freshen up on the bottom four to compare them.
