JPIC has been poe all day and the first pressure that's felt viable has been Alison clamping down hard. Suddenly he's not having fun anymore. I don't understand why he wouldn't just drop the LHF playstyle now and try to offer reasons to be townread. As either alignment but particularly as town. Going for the cheap townclears from ate self voting rather than making an effort isn't great.

Similarly it would be more optimal as mafia if he wasn't able to summon wim to just keep smiling and trolling here. I'm polarised by him. I think he's town because his choices are so difficult to parse.

Nutella/Tedxtr for me.

I can be swayed on Tim. He has had moments I've just seen a town there but he's good enough to post like a town and his impact isn't where I'd like it to be for what I expect of town Tim.

Oddmerta in isolation just pointing at someone else and trying to finesse others to buy into the read doesn't strike me as townie so I'd encourage you to show some working to back it up please.

I had the opposite read as you again! I thought mafia trying to shift the blame to others would go for people being actively suspected or LHF, not someone who's been mostly townread by people and who has no chance of being exed today.

Who says Tim is no chance? The mafia need to push on town to win the game and you don't know what misyeets you can get if you don't offer them up as an option.

Ted copped pressure. Did a couple of weird scummy things. Logged off and came back. Put on a town hat and defended his slot.

JPIC copped pressure. Got histrionic and self voted.

One is playing for self pres. One is not.

While JPIC's play isn't good it's more what I'd expect from someone with no teammates to answer to. Ted did what I expect a mafioso to do.

Also it's entirely valid to read Ted's town burst as just town. But contextually and in light of what came earlier it's totally within his range and his wincon as mafia to make that effort. So I can't see how it should dismiss the previous content which was just scummy.

And there is opposition to both their pushes.

I feel like I trust Alison a bit more than Tutuu so I'm more inclined to let her have her JPIC flip if I need to choose. I still think Nutella is right there and the better lynch anyway. And Ted is better again.

They are the bulk of his "work," and if he is left with the out that they are just one post reads he is really not on any sort of accountability hook. I think he does take them seriously and wants them taken seriously, so not stressing that may be intentionally leaving himself the out.

Well the way you word it is a little bit misleading. The reality is that he is saying that he thinks that my first post reads are something that I put front and centre in my town play which is just incorrect but he's mostly familiar with me on spec chat which is where I bang on about that the most.

Also I'm not entirely sure that he's not just framing general paranoia about me in that way, which I think is reasonable.

I had that thought during their tunnel, I've been taught that what counts in tunnels is seeing how the war ends, rather than what's actually going on in it. Tim kinda looked elsewhere and Odd also deflected a bit, and when Tim changed gears, Odd still wanted to have the higher ground and Tim is really not caring about that push at all, which isn't really what I associate with his town play. If he thought he was being finessed, he would've tried gathering the information to fit that theory or refute it /shrug

Idk it's weird, I just guess I wouldn't clear one if the other flips wolf is my point.

She is in her either alignment but she's siding with me and townreading me so it moves her into town read territory. The thing about me is that because my reads are usually rather accurate mafia are forced to compete directly with me rather than try to pocket me. On the odd occasion where I get pocketed, I tend to just lose to the slot tbh.

As mafia she becomes POE clamped before endgame and doesn't have the forceful personality to post herself out of late game POE scenarios.

Sure. I am just holding onto this because I recognised it from the most recent game I lost to a mafioso in. I don't actually recognise if there is a long term pattern to that post being mafia tbh. It's just hyperbole really. If you think there is no pattern then I believe you. Hally feels town otherwise so let's just go with that.

I guess what I am saying re: Juliets is there is no reasonable world in which she should be pushed day 1. I think I've seen her flipped as mafia on day 1 once in all my years playing with her. I have seen her yeeted as town on day 1 a few times. Maybe I even imagined that day 1 mafia flip. I have however seen her flipped as mafia a lot and it always occurs in the midgame, and it usually happens in town wins. I saw her endgame as mafia once to my memory and it was alongside Dunya who did most of the dirty work establishing the misyeets and shielded her quite a lot. Also I was in that team and they both bussed me day one.

If we're reading juliets based on how reasonable/logical her reads and pushes are then I'm just going to locktown her right now because I don't think I've disagreed with a single word she's said ever since she's subbed him.

I'm curious to know what makes town juliets clear herself that scum juliets can't fake.

Juliets has good reads and often pushes mafia and gets them over. She often gets killed immediately after heavily contributing to correct mafia yeets. She is a very rare busser and only does it if encouraged by teammates.
