So we have Hyena, 112, Sloonei, Nutella, Tutuu and Mac in this hottub of fun.

Sloonei has felt town. Hyena has felt town but just has bad reads. Nutella has felt reeee. Tutuu has felt omega reee. 112 has also felt omega reeee.

Nutella and Tutuu probably aren't teammates. 112 can be with either of them.

112 is probably just mafia in this game.

There are lots of motives for floating less-than-serious reads on Day 0/1 of a game, for instance.

I feel like he's trying to make it look like that he's trying to get people to react to him (hence why I was saying he was trying to impersonate me), but isn't actually trying to since his bait is not believable. Like compare his accusations to the one I made against you -- which felt more real/believable to you?

a) the mafia can scumhunt so fake scumhunting isn't a thing so any reads like 112's push on hyena is fake have to be taken with a grain of salt
b) there are about 8-10 mafia aligned players in the game which means that more people than you'd expect are actually mafia
c) the mafia already know it's multiball if it is and therefore their tendency to be openly scummy would be much higher because of the festival like atmosphere of multiball

I am annoyed I randed town in the GoC. These are usually the best scum games I play all year lol.

it's also plausible that this isn't multiball but there is in fact a large mafia team and a 3p faction that is just smaller

take it on trust, host read that they aren't going to have a 3P nuke half the game in GOC, whatever. In Shadow Corridors I proposed some tactics to guard against 3P betrayal, you can try those. Yes I know I was mafia that game but my tactics were legit.

my plan is pretty clearly laid out to give me a free win while also helping the town out. I fully intend to have "auto" from post 1 and will be putting in close to 0 effort to solve or influence the game from this point on. It doesn't make much strategical sense for me to do that if I'm mafia, especially since it will become too obvious that I'm lying about being 3P as the game goes on.

Long Con sided with mafia because he was sentimental and wanted to root for the underdog. I am not sentimental. Siding with the mafia after the town gave me my win is pointless. I have already gotten my win; putting in extra effort is not only meaningless, it actively compromises my ability to make further deals in this vein when I roll 3P in the future. It's strictly suboptimal to do that, so you can be pretty sure I won't do it.

make sure to @ me if you want to tell me who your consensus town to bargain is or have any questions/comments, since I won't be reading the thread closely.

Also Mac, I really wanna say something. I'm really proud that I managed to kept my cool earlier when you were scumreading me. I think I've struggled alot with not being able to stay calm, and I have had many games where I just get pissy at people for scumreading me and I got towncleared due to it and that's just such abuse, it wasn't fair for the mafia team of all of those town games of mine. I feel really guilty for that.

I think I'm growing up as a person and I'm starting to be in more control of my emotions and I think (I hope) that I managed to handle your scumread adequately and I was respectful, maybe not perfect, but I think definitely an improvement compared to how I was before!

Alison just won our community's Best Mafioso award. She is tremendously good at playing this game as mafia. She can fool people, she can control the flow of the game when she wants, she does all the conventional things that good mafiers need to do. So why does she resort to this whack ass gimmick at the kickoff of the Game of Champions? If anything, this severely limits her options moving forward. Alison does not do that.
