I did a speed read catch up of 15 pages and now I don't have time to actually formulate my thoughts.

It was a lot of Koba getting people's faces and then a bunch of stuff I don't remember and then Mac and Tutuu glaring at each other though they now seem to have a tenative truce.

Koba probably has to be town because he just wouldn't shut up.

Scotty posted a couple posts that pinged me and I remember now I was supposed to iso him for Ted and never did. Sorry Ted.

Nanook is probably town. There was no discomfort in dropping the gimmick and his case on Epi felt too nuanced to come from town. Not that Nanook isn't a good scum who can fake townie things, but that just felt like it was coming from a perspective that's harder to fake.

Epi is probably town anyway though. Dayvig thing.

I've never seen tutuu wolf and I'm wary of her because of that. She was super whiteknighty in D1 and that pinged me, but her explanations for why she townreads everyone's scumreads make sense and are takes I tend to share. Her gang of six is pretty different to eveyrone else's and scum tend to include a usual suspect or two so they have room to help push a consensus wagon if they want to. So that feels town to me. But then Mac post his 'tutuu is scary' post and now I don't know.

The Syn wagon was the only stagnant one that grew up gradually and didn't change. If Syn is mafia, it probably means the vote-hoppers were the scumbuddies trying to save him. If Syn is town, I think a few scum probably parked on Syn's wagon and dipped from the thread thinking they had placed themselves well.

My conclusion to this is that I find the second scenario more in line with how I read the thread. I'd lean Syn being town and mafia were in no real danger and some parked their vote and some hopped around with the town leaders.

Made was scumread really early on in D1 wasn't he? Why did people decide otherwise? I haven't read his posts much but he's come across as kind of awkward. His shade of Mac at SoD2 where he implied Mac being alive was suss also wasn't great.

This second post was two minutes before the deadline.

The move from Scotty (who is a civilian, correct?) to Dya at the eleventh hour without any context or care looks like shit.

Perhaps this has been talked about and I haven't read it, but Master Radishes came in, voted Dya without knowing Dya was in the game. That's how it reads to me right now.

I arrived home right before the deadline. I was hundreds of posts behind, Syn and Dya were the wagon options, and the one I was on was dead. I noticed Dya was now in the game but didn't have time to figure out why they had a wagon; all I saw was that it was the one with the most last minute momentum and a lot of people I townread were on it. I didn't have time to parse the nuances of it, so I just sheeped Mac, KZA, and Rondo.

Town 112 often doesn't 'showcase progression'. Scum 112 is more likely to. Town 112 is more likely to make snapreads no one can follow.

This version of 112 is null atm. She's still in her scum range but I've not seen anything I want to point at and call out. Not really worth an immediate chop.

I was thinking about this earlier. I don't think there's a soup kill mechanic. I know that's the Big Bad Scary Monster of Syndicate games, but it's not actually all that common in games I've been in. I think JPIC's counter to mass claiming is the fact that roles aren't being revealed upon flip. That opens the door for fake claims from scum.

This is not me advocating for a full claim or anything. I hate when games devolve into mech stuff. But I think it's *probably* okay for people to claim if they really want to.

Why do you think it's okay to claim when we don't have flips? I mean people can claim literally anything and we wouldn't be able to judge properly or go for lynch unhesitatingly

As I said, I don't advocate for it. I just don't think the downside is 'soup kill' and if people like Urist want to make their choice then it's their choice.

Speaking of Urist the role is specific enough not to be made up and doesn't really sound like a role scum would get. I wouldn't necessarily bank the game on that if we get to LYLO and Urist is there, but I'm fine with removing him from my PoE.

Does anyone want to start a third wagon on Ender with me? I know Rondo did a bigass post but I didn't read any of it.
