But... like, I don't want to sound rude, but isn't that exactly what it means?

If 2 people visited Long Con, and he died... one of the two killed him... right? So... if you know you didn't kill him... then from YOUR viewpoint, the other person is a baddie... right? So, if you are civ, why wouldn't you of ALL people be demanding this person's name?

Cuz LC's dead, man... LC's dead...

Well, not entirely, timmer.

I can't explain how I was redirected from what I've read in the setup, since you denied using a dodo. It's possible someone did something so LC would act as some sort of lightning rod. But that doesn't explain why only myself and ??? wound up targeting him.

Re: Hogwarts Mafia - Day 4

Hallows wouldn't thematically explain it, and there aren't any civilian secrets. That leaves three explanations afaik.

1. I'm a dirty rotten liar and deep down I know I deserve to be punished.
2. speedchuck is a dirty rotten liar and deep down he knows he deserves to be punished.
3. There's a redirection hidden behind the secrets of the mafia team.

I'm leaning #2.

fyi INH could have been resurrected with the resurrection stone. If scum got possession of it then it effectively became a throwaway item they'd want to use straight away, since it's no use to them as all roles flip. No fuckery there.

Yes, but the stone thematically fits a rezz too. Technically a temporary rezz but that depends on how close DDL matched items to their use in the books.

I'll concede that. But also if the Ressurection Stone was responsible would DDL have included the bit about the [Phoenix]? This not being a bastard game.

If number 3 is true, then it's probable that scum killed scum (Because of your power, it couldn't be a civ vig, so that leaves room only for redirect screwery) and that would nail us a confirmed baddie.

So yeah, I might be holding onto a confirmed baddie. I want to figure that out before day end.

diricrawl cannot switch actions directed at one person to another, diricrawl can only switch actions directed at the owner to another. speedchuck has maintained the first, which is a mechanical impossibility.

For you to be telling the truth, Kara would have to be targeted by a timmer-aimed redirect which would then target me and send me to timmer to see you!

And as we can see, scum already used their redirect on Juliets.

There is no redirect for me. A diricawl wouldn't work unless LC or Timmer used it on each other possibly somehow.

There is no world in which what I saw meshes with your claim.

speed's alignment would change things a fair bit. So have two.

If speed is bad:
colin
nutella
jack
DH
sprityo
DH

If speed is good:
colin
jack
DH
sprityo
kara
pout
Why am I not here?
Why would you be on there?

Re: Hogwarts Mafia - Day 4

I didn't give my full action because I was hesitant about giving out information that wasn't relevant. I went through this already when discussing timmer's Night 1. There was no reason that I should have had to mention Sloonei besides his pestering.

Does naming me hurt in any way?
Yes. If I say nothing and contradictory information comes out then I've potentially caught scum in a lie.

Do not ask me what kind of information could come out, I beg you.

Sloonei wrote: Thu Nov 08, 2018 1:09 pm In double checking the actual name of the ID ability just now, I realized there’s a possible explanation to all this night actuon discrepency that hasn’t been brought up yet, or at least hasn’t been a part of the main conversation: Arresto Momentum.
This spell delays another student’s movement. This will make whatever abilities they use have their effect delayed to the following night.
Is it possible that either one of Quin or speedchuck simply had their night actions pushed back a night, so that what they thought they had done on Night 2 actually came into effect on Night 3?
I didn't do anything night 2.

@Quin Did you visit Long Con night 2?
I also didn't do anything night 2.
