My question is for Epignosis, is the first quote suss?
No.

Double-standards, and what not, but I don't care.

Women write differently than men.
Epi is bad for not checking the context behind why Luna was using the word valid.
Or Turnip is bad for posing the question without checking the context behind why Luna was using the word valid.

got em
I don't follow pls explain
Sloonei and Luna's qualifiers are different. One could argue Sloonei was qualifying his post - "I have a genuine suspicion..." but Luna's use of valid is a reference to her earlier rebuttal where Mac said Day 1 cases are based on nothing and a direct quote using the term valid from SVS. The fact that she repeats the word valid in the same post should make this obvious.

Epi made a blanket statement about how women post which means he didn't check context. If he did he'd have realised the difference between the two. I don't expect this from town.
I didn't need to check context because I understood the post the first time I read it. And I read it as being deliberately snarky. I smiled when I read it.

FWIW I read that usage as snarky as well. She didn't write it this way, but I READ "valid" in caps lock and quotes, or maybe italics..
Yes, so did I. That's my issue. If Epi knew as well, why did he make a blanket post saying "women write differently than men" when asked about the difference between her and Sloonei instead of "Lunalee's post was ironic and snarky".

I wouldn’t if it made sense to vote for Epi right now. We’ve got ~1 hour to go and a tightly contested lynch with a couple options. Throwing a loner vote on Epi for a minor issue from three days ago seems like not the best move.
If he's bad it sounds like a great move. And so I make it.

Thoroughly uninspiring result to this day, but I didn't absolutely hate a wilgy lynch.
Who defines what is and is not a viable wagon? You all could've voted with me. Why didn't you do that?
I am defining it right now as "a wagon which has the realistic opportunity to produce a lynch." Epignosis was never ever going to be lynched today and you sat on him while watching the clock tick down.

22 votes. 27 living players. So, 5 missed votes. Is that a lot these days? I ask as a real question.
See my response to sprityo. I consider it "abstaining" if you're here and you don't vote on a viable wagon. I'm looking at Quin and Enrique primarily.

the only thing shorter than your bread is your time in this game, bucko.
You've crapped on my Epi vote multiple times but haven't told me what you think of the case itself. Please do that.

I told you, both at the time and today, that I disagree with it and don't think that Epi is implicated in any way whatsoever by the things you are suggesting about him.

My objection is less with the case and more with the vote. You defended me earlier by arguing to timmer that a townie's most powerful weapon is their vote. Today you threw that power away by plopping a meaningless vote on Epignosis.
That's true. The vote is town's most powerful asset. That does not mean there is one way to use it. As far as I'm concerned making sure my vote is going onto the mainstream lynch candidate is a waste of a vote. I vote who I want, always have and always will.

And an alternate theory: what if the trickster is an Indy role who kills every night? Juleit’s Death doesn’t read as a baddie dying. Not to mention that we have no idea who is killling. Personally, I’m Not going to push that people aren’t who they seem, but I’m not going to personally make that assumption. And I personally believe it’s a dangerous assumption to make.

Strongly leaning towards an INH vote. Possibly sabie.
So if we're not assuming any of the night deaths are who they say we are, we've got two civ lynches. Good luck hunting after throwing out 2/3rds of the hard info we have.
Two civ lynches? Wilgy still screams Hollow Man to me
We get it Tranq. You have info but don't want anyone to know about it. We get it.

Quin’s rationale and votes were all over the map Day 1 amd yet he suggested it was a productive day? His Day 2 posting had some relevance but it felt obligatory in nature. He had only post twice Day 3 before I went shopping. Some of his on-point posts have felt measured and I don’t like the way that makes me feel.
