Anyway, once i'm catch up I'll humor you. I'll give the list of everyone who gave me that feeling. Just don't expect me to have reads on them. Not my style.

Re: Mountain Mafia [NIGHT 1]
Of the active folks, I feel like one of Long Con or Jack is being less than honest. I don't say that as if there's a relationship between the two of them that indicates one should be bad, but I feel like I've been getting hung up on more of their posts than anyone else in the game, and that doesn't usually sit well with me.
DDL is my top suspect. I didn't love the way he handled my brief interrogation of him earlier. He seemed resistant to the idea of sharing ideas.
Then there's quiet people. I'd forget sig was playing if his name wasn't on the poll.

I was confused by your line of questioning. If you'd been more direct, I would have given a more direct answer.Quin wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 9:25 am My concern with the above is that while Sloonei likes to throw around his votes early and often, he didn't put one on Epi despite essentially declaring him a worthwhile Day 1 lynch candidate. I asked him about that and he danced around that point and told me about how he decides where his final vote of the Day would be made.
He mentioned that Epi already had decent pressure on him at the time, which is basically the response I'd expect from a civilian Sloonei, but since it wasn't his initial response to me it doesn't hold as much weight.
I don't know what his mafia motivation for this is, though.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 2]
I voted for you because we seem to be operating under different mindsets this game, and in particular I never saw a very reasoned defense of your vote for nutella. As I saw it, you just kind of plucked a few posts out of her ISO and labelled them "lazy" and thus "scummy", and then a bandwagon ensued. I'm not seeing the light on any of your arguments yet.
I voted for Eloh because I think she's somebody worth talking about. No one's done that yet. Got any thoughts?

Jack really stuck his neck out for sig here. I have a hard time envisioning a scum player going so far out of their way to offer such a glaring defense of a partner (unless it's for WIFOM points), but I also can't shake the feeling of there being something unnatural to this defense by Jack.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 12:21 am Oh!

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 1]
These are the only two solid reads I can find in sprityo's post history, and he uses them indirectly to justify his Day 1 nutella vote. He had previously said he could not find "anything" in nutella's ISO (which I took to mean "anything worth voting for"), but he put a vote on her based on the trust he has in the two people leading the bandwagon against her. He offered some justification for trusting Jack and speedchuck, but I'll need more fleshed out thoughts from sprit if I'm to make a solid judgment on him one way or the other. I don't hate the strategy of defering to trusted players in the absence of strong suspects, but I can also make the argument that he looks shady for avoiding direct responsinility in his own vote.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 2]
I recall Epi once making the argument that Eloh is more invested in games when she has someone to talk to behind the scenes. In this game she's made multiple comments about the amount of effort she's been putting into getting caught up. Her tone in these posts has not been one of frustration or dejection, but instead she's seemed kind of gleeful about it, playing around and joking about her involvement. I like this attitude and approve of it in every way, which is why I feel dirty for turning it into a case against Eloh. If she is involved in BTSC, and has been since Day 1, then she's scum. And if this is the case and Epi's old argument is true, then her carefree attitude toward the avalanche of posts in this thread might be explained by her involvement with teammates behind the scenes. Or she's just having a jolly old time.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 2]
DDL was my top scum read coming into the day but this post was too emotionally raw for me to read it as false. I'd still be open to evaluating him and we could all probably benefit from interrogating him a little more.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 5:19 pm @Sloonei
DDL has moved into top scum read.
A good chunk of me wants to give Epi another chance cause I secretly love him and cause lots of people have called the buddying theory wrong. Part of me does not because I'm still not seeing much hunting. I am seeing strong mechanic analysis that reminds me of good Epi breaking open ASOUE so there's that.
Mostly, DDL feels frazzled. His reads are coming in half baked. He's too concerned with how he looks (for DDL). Part of me remembers his postgane Pirates comment and thinks he's suffering from the same self doubt. If that's the case, I would feel bad lynching him. But I want to cause he seems bad.
Your thoughts on DDL's game from a DDL meta perspective?

My vote has been off of Eloh for like 6 hours. I specifically wanted Epi's thoughts on my specific case against Elohcin. He shot it down. But she's still a suspect. I have no reason to remove her from the pool.colonialbob wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 11:21 pm I don't like this sequence.
Voting Eloh because he wants Epi's thoughts, that's all? But then he's willing to vote there immediately after taking his vote off? Smells off.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 2]
This all happened after my vote switch,I think.colonialbob wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2017 12:30 amSo then if he was right on all that why did he drop the vote when Epi said the read/case was bad? What made him swap his vote?JaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Thu Nov 23, 2017 12:17 am Elohcin's rainbow and dialogue with Sloonei
Sloonei's questions here were reasonable -- Elohcin voiced in vague terms that the high posters seem civ and that she'd be willing to vote for a low poster. The contents of the rainbow list don't align with that much. A change of heart is fine, but I don't know if that's even what happened in Eloh's head -- the progression is unclear. The names in the rainbow almost appear randomized. I'm surprised to see myself rated well given my own slow start, and I have no idea why Mesk is so high. I don't know why the low posters are split between yellow and orange. I don't know why the high posters Sloonei and Quin are orange. When given an opportunity to expand on these things, she just said "relax" and restated the general purpose of a rainbow list.
@Elohcin, you need to talk more about what's going on there.

Re: Mountain Mafia [DAY 2]
Voting for me is a waste of time. Don't do it.

I don't like posts like this one:
It fails to address any of the (like two) points that have been made against them. It reads as feigned incredulousness... incredulousity? He's acting incredulous, and trying to play it off as if the rudimentary actions of his can't be analyzed beyond their mere existence.sprityo wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 11:38 pmIVE DONE NOTHING BUT VOTE FOR NUTELLA, JAYJaggedJimmyJay wrote: ↑Wed Nov 22, 2017 11:36 pmGiven that you're not caught up, based on what do you assert that your voters have acted "under no premise"?
His latest post where he expressed indifference towards his survival does not move me one way or the other. His vote on me suggests some inclination for self-preservation. I don't love it. I've not been convinced that I should move off of him. But if I move my vote to Jack there's a chance that I could save myself. I'm not sure I want to do that though. Why should I lynch Jack?
