It allows town to just play the game as if checking off a list. It's not really scum hunting and it theoretically confirms ~4 people as town every time a single baddie is lynched.

I dunno what to tell you fam. Each of the confirmed baddies are from a different house so the obvious answer is there is a baddie in Hufflepuff. Unless you're saying Hufflepuff is all town in which case Yun Qui my good sir.

Idk if JJJ is normally like this (some said he's sus, some didn't react even a bit), he doesn't seem like new here albeit he doesn't have grandpa vibe yet. Owner - last time I played with her and she's scum, she didn't tunnel this much. Her reasoning is weird tho but she's always weird by default

The first bit a strategic proposal that always comes up whenever there's a sort of lie detector role in the game. I tend to regard this sort of comment with caution because they represent an easy way for scum to integrate themselves into the thread, but by no means do I take it as a tell per se. Just something that gets my attention. The second paragraph is a series of observations where she(?) tries to grapple with some reads on unfamiliar players. I like the look of it at face value. There's an apparent effort to produce reads balanced with a simultaneous awareness that she's unfamiliar with the players involved. I could fault the waffley nature of this post, but I won't because it came on Day 1 in a foreign setting.

I like this post too. Kind of reminds me of my own style when I'm more fully into a game than I am here. She's tossing reads and questions around together without seeming to be stuck in any single area. If this trend continues I may cut this exercise short and slap a big Town Read sticker on potato.

If I want to get critical, it's that I'm not seeing many/any suspects here. There's lots of town reads and a smattering of questions, but I don't see poutanko coming out and accusing anybody of being bad. That's not a problem early on, but it's something to look out for as the game progresses.

In this post she calls out both kara and LC, but kind of hedges on Kara and her accusation on LC is a bit vague. I don't dislike the post, but it doesn't dismiss my concern about the lack of suspects as much as I'd like it to. Still town-reading poutanko, but I'm trying not settle on that too easily. I like the post, but have room for concern.

Well at the moment I am most interested in Bullzeye, not so much for his vote for Nova because voting a no show on Day 1 has been accepted practice in the past, but more because he posted on Day 1 but his posts were almost all devoid of content. That doesn't feel like civ Bullz to me - he's an outstanding player.

I think I made it clear that I don't suspect JJJ and I haven't read back on OoaLH but her refusal to vote for TH seemed more of a civ move to me than a baddie move. I may have more thoughts on her later when I read her back.

This is another post that reminds me of me and inclines me to read her as town, maybe just because of my huge ego. She's intent on going beyond what's there and getting more out of juliets1.0. Very good look, imo.

Luna - should be Town looking at her interaction with INH and their tone, not as easy as my initial feel of her.

Least:
Bullz/Speed 2.0 - I don't trust him still. I was thinking timmer/bullz/LC could be team mates (with timmer vouching Bullz after novase flip -unexpected judging from the reaction- and LC looking like he's trying to lessen the pressure on Bullz by brushing it off as something normal). Timmer's claim sounds genuine, I still feel uneasy with the other 2.
LongCon - on and off town/scum feel. His reaction on Bullz vote was not what I expected. People sussing Bullz for his weird vote on Novase is what I think would be the normal reaction, not his.
DH/you gave me uneasy feeling. Both of you are vet players/oldfags. DH just fooled me completely on Outpost. Nothing look sus if I think about it but something doesn't feel right.

timmer was here but his claim and the way he said it feels genuine.

A list of reads at the urging of Jay. I don't object to this list (how could I? I've read like 10% of the thread), but it doesn't do much to alleviate my prior concern, which is that poutanko's posts are light on the scum reads. This post is particularly glaring given her previous comment to juliets1.0: "Do you need to be asked for something specific to share your own thought tho?" Poutanko only shared her scum reads when specifically asked.

That said, I've got a more positive vibe than negative here. My concern is nothing more than that: a concern. I wouldn't vote for poutanko right now because of it, but if it's a trend that continues I'd probably start to consider it more. To reiterate: I'd like to see more direct accusations out of poutanko. There's some good chatter and I can see what looks like a genuine effort to understand players, but there's not a whole lot of commentary about what's bad.

For what it’s worth I asked my questions about Long Con after the day had ended. He was dead before there was anything I could have done with the line of questioning.

Not quite Colin, because I'd need some assurance on the accuracy of poutanko's cop ID. To be clear, I trust the claim, I'm just uncertain about night action manipulation.

That leaves me with the following people as viable suspects:
Jack
kara
Luna
Mac
Quin
speedchuck
sprit

I'm leaving Colin in purgatory for now because I wouldn't argue for his lynch any time soon but my concerns stated above can't be dismissed. Luna would probably be the next player I bump out of that pool, and I highly doubt that both Quin and speedchuck are Death Eaters.

All of this, both sides of my list, come with the caveat that this is the least engaged I've been with a game in a very long time and it's a guarantee that I have missed some crucial information along the line.

It does seem like the prior suspicion against Mac has dissolved and I'm not sure why. Unless I simply missed that, he seems like he'd be a good person to talk about once we've moved past the present issues.

This at least nullifies the fear that his resurrection was some trick pulled by the Death Eaters with another play in mind today. I'm less anxious about lynching him, but I still prefer that we have a competing wagon to be safe.

Additionally, I want to ask who we'd believe more in the Quin vs. Speedchuck split if poutanko's cop claim didn't exist?
And also if there's a scenario in which all three of speedchuck, quin, and poutanko are town and telling the truth?

If these are things that have already been discussed then you can just slap me and point me in the right direction. But I'm hung up on these reported night actions right now and feel like it's the most pressing issue we've got right now.

Additionally, I want to ask who we'd believe more in the Quin vs. Speedchuck split if poutanko's cop claim didn't exist?
And also if there's a scenario in which all three of speedchuck, quin, and poutanko are town and telling the truth?

If these are things that have already been discussed then you can just slap me and point me in the right direction. But I'm hung up on these reported night actions right now and feel like it's the most pressing issue we've got right now.

Ok Sloon, I looked through all of the spells, potions, etc. and the only thing I could find was if Quin gave Long Con the Elixir of Life and someone else targeted LC with Petrificus Totalus which prevents the person targeted from drinking a potion. If that had happened and Speed was watching Long Con he would have seen three people visit LC, Quin, the potion canceller and a vig - unless LC was not killed by a vig. Anyway, it would have been quite complicated and seemingly a 1 in 1000 chance. (I made those numbers up.)

Maybe someone else see's something more realistic.

I appreciate these thoughts. I suppose another possibility is that quin was simply using protego/wingardium leviosa on his teammate LC, if those are abilities he has access to.

I suppose my next question in this line (for anybody) would be this: Why does speedchuck come out with this specific story if he is bad?
