Having played with Jay and rdw many times, I can’t buy confident town reads on either one of them on a day zero. How confident in these are you, and why? Marmot as well, as so far all he’s really done is post light hearted jokey stuff, which seems to be his MO in all games I’ve played with him.

Does this JJJ look like supertown civ JJJ to you? He's allowed me to take the front seat. Even Kyle has more posts than him. I want to say he's hiding and he's scum, but he wouldn't be that obvious and I don't think there's much to hide on Day fucking 0 still which has felt like a week already. Hopefully calling out his wackiness will help us see what JJJ is up to this game and having a better read on him.

From where I'm sitting JJJ has contributes the *most* reads and real content. The signal to noise ratio might be a little higher than normal but there's still plenty of signal there.

well, now that we know the countries are assigned randomly, I'm not sure what significance lap and sig being in badguyia is. Wyvern Rider is a death role so hope sig is on our side. I don't see the relationship between Thief 2 and Wyvern Rider as we made with Rico's army roles.

I mean, I've never played this game so I'm sorry if I goofed up. I thought it was mostly just flavor but he did say some powers will be country related. I guess have no idea which powers belong to which nations, but you're right, people who know the game will know more about me.

How do you figure I’m from Badguyia? I see nothing to suggest that.

Anyone whose backstory does not specify where they're from is assumed to be from Badguyia as the rules I quoted up there day.

Yeah, different countries often have more units of a certain kind, but I can’t imagine how that would translate to mafia. There are good and bad characters of every class.

Kyle has been accused of this in nearly every game he's played in. He often focuses on game mechanics instead of scum hunting and people think that's scummy. I think it's Kyle falling into meta, whether its WIFOM or not is yet to be determined, but he seems easy flowing and helpful in his contributions so far. I expect scum Kyle (which I have witnessed once before on a different forum), to be a little more offstandish than this. civ Kyle is someone who posts his thoughts without thinking them through, and theorizes out loud; both of which I think he's done plenty of so far after going through his ISO again now.

Kites is a great mafia player, very suspicious by nature when he's civ. I think this setup is overwhelming with so much info to take in and remember, even for me, and I have the added advantage of knowing everyone playing here--he doesn't. He mentioned the setup looked complex and overwhelming before the game even started, so I'm going to give him some time to adjust and get familiar.
