I see why you think I had TMI on Enrique. I didn't. I believed his truth claim. I know him pretty well and I was sure he was for real. I hated that people were voting for him for such stupid reasons. I really found Luna suspicious and if you reread her progression on Enrique I think you may agree. You are reading me wrong and I see where you are coming from but you are ascribing complete opposite intentions to everything I've done.

I wonder if DDL really believes what he is saying because he has seen me play a lot in the last couple years and he must know that the "lols" etc are a hallmark of my civ style. He's harping a bit too much on this one thing and then going "well whatever her civ and bad metas are too similar so who knows" like he's soft-pushing an easy target but backing off/not taking responsibility

I feel like people always say this about me but I feel like I acted pretty dang differently when I was bad in Vanilla. But then again Sloonei was so sure I was civ he was willing to die for me so

Anyway I'm pretty sure that I've only invoked my meta as a defense when civ, so take from that what you will. When I'm bad I tend to sit back and let people like Sloonei confidently misread me as my town self. Because that feels really great since it's their idea. Idk, compare to my other town games and see how you feel. I get why you think Mac's case was solid. It's just wrong. I don't look great because I'm not trying to look great.

Hey, no. That is uncharitable toward both enri and me. I said I know his character and can tell when he is legit. It's a gut thing from being friends with him for 10 years. Maybe that is unfair to everyone else, I don't mean to exclude people, it's just a specific sense that I have of him and I felt with certainty that he was town. It's not any more "ew" than if you defended Luna more than anyone else for example. It just so happened that it was in the context of a "truth meta" claim, which held water for me due to my understanding of enri's personality.

Yeah this is just a verbal misunderstanding. You interpreted it basically the opposite of how I did. Idk if I'm gonna explain this well or maybe I'll sound stupid here but I was arguing that it's not just recency bias since I just saw him as bad but instead it's a more substantial interpretation of his posts that I thought looked bad, though I admitted there was some relation to similarity with that game. I guess you're probably right that I was still biased in my interpretation of his content. Anyway he was civ after all so

Also I feel like recency bias is not all bad in mafia since people's metas change over time, so if you see behavior that's similar to a recent game in which someone was bad I think it holds more water than saying they look like how they were when bad in a game a year ago.

His vote progression in the rey lynch in particular, and I'll have to look back but I don't think he was in a stellar position in previous ones as well. And tbh not just his vote progression but most of his posts on d4 were really pingy, like his responses to you and go-with-the-flow-ness.

His posts in general have an awkward air about them, and he latched on to easy suspicions such as reywas and myself. This post in particular sticks out:

Also, holy shit there are only 8 of us left so it's getting down to POE as well.

Although in terms of POE the only players I'm remotely comfortable calling solid townreads are SVS and G-Man, and even those are only the lightest of greens. Any of you could be bad and I'm very uncomfortable.
