RDW
Marmot
Speedchuck
DDL
Kenway
Kylemii
gwil
nut
cbob
Kites
ID
Epi
Sprit
Lap
Sig
Quin

Because I want to add a scum player to the dead role list ASAP. We need it for teammate analysis. And a kill can always fail. I don't mind if ID is one of the last scum to fall, but the first one needs to be soon.
If the kill fails, we're right back to where we started. Right? If you really think I_D is scum, you should want him lynched. That life has to go at some point. Better now than later.

Besides, does he even have two lives? Wouldn't that role be fake if he's scum, based on what Kylemii was just talking about? Should we find out?

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 6]

I've 'cleared' Lapluie, but at the same time, I'm pretty sure I'd be dead if there wasn't a way for mafia to counter my checks. Then again, they killed Marmot, so...

I'm voting Iron_Dwarf and leaving mafia for the day.

[VOTE: Iron_Dwarf] aubergine

Good luck.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Day 6]

Oh good. Day not ended yet. I'll catch up later, now that I'm back in town.

the other possibilities are that the mafia has some sort of info-fuck ability like a seemer or w/e. Maybe rising star pointer looks like a civ when checked or something? Or maybe a different one of their background roles can fuck with info-gets.
Or maybe...I don't know...speedchuck lied? :faint:
I have as much info as you guys do. I've sent a PM, just to see if I could learn anything, and Jack isn't giving me an answer. Which, to be fair, I expected, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

To me, this confirms something I have suspected: Mafia has to have a buttload of tricks behind their town role things. They would have to if they want to keep up with a game that has multiple power roles for every player, along with alignment checks, percentage-based vigkills, and townie BTSC.

I'll keep giving you guys my results, but I don't trust them explicitly.

Re: Fire Emblem Draft Mafia [Night 6]

[mention]Dragon D. Luffy[/mention] You know Occam's Razor? That nifty tool that says the correct solution to a problem is the one that makes the fewest assumptions? We can look at that with RDW.

For RDW to be town, we have to assume that he doesn't know who scum is and has made poor (uninformed) decisions.
For RDW to be scum, we have to assume that he's been trying to save his teammates, that nobody on the team BTSC has been able to sway him into bussing, that he has no concept of bussing to begin with, etc.

RDW's vote tracking has been awful. Townies are known to do that. I actually don't know scum to do that, assuming they have a decent grasp of the game, and assuming that they have access to BTSC.

RDW has hit me with town tone all game, and the abysmal vote tracking isn't really a point against him IMO.
gwilikers6 wrote: Mon Mar 05, 2018 1:53 pm He would have no problem throwing any of his teammates under the bus if it looked like a good opportunity for him. I dunno if voting works differently where you’ve played most, but on RYM, a lot of players would vote specifically to get a reaction out of someone. Rdw is an instigator. It’s not that he doesn’t see the logic of things, it’s more that he plays by getting reactions out of other players. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t.
His meta also points to what I'm seeing.

I get your case, I understand why it looks strong, but this is why I'm not going to follow you on it.

I buy your vote tracking argument on him better than RDW's. He was a part of a lynch that was clearly a bus, and my mama always told me to beware the 4th-or-so vote on a lynch. The rest looks opportunistic and lurk-ish.

But I'd have to look at his actual posts, and I'll see about doing that soon.
