Actually, just reading the rules, and reading the brief lynch result post...

[mention]Dragon D. Luffy[/mention], who was up for lynch when it failed?

We have items that reduce a players vote by one, ones that increase a players vote power, and one that kill a players vote entirely so technically the lynch could have been tied. Before we "decide" too much about LC.

The only people with secrets are baddies though, aren't they? If that was in the game, it would signal a bad LC?

Also [mention]Dragon D. Luffy[/mention], if a player is successfully targeted with a spell or item that affects their vote power, is the target informed of this?

Glorf Had 4
Colin Had 3

If the lynch wasn't meant for LC, the next easiest target would be Glorf, which is a bag of shit I don't want to get into so soon after I just washed.

Or Colin, but the legwork required for a Colin lynch to be reality is almost too much.

Occams Razor here. LC led the poll, it was an LC lynch.

Of course, but it doesn't hurt to get clarification. And remember those items affect voters, not their targets. If two long con voters were hit by negative vote items, it should be tied, it's at least possible enough to warrant "an ask"?

This is correct. I assumed that any attempt at using my vig would be tampered with, so I used a different item to avoid having an obvious killshot redirected.

Quin says they used a protective item on themselves, me, and one other, thus are assuming that their action got redirected somehow.

So, some thoughts... we've got Quin and speed's info clashing. We've got poutanko suddenly revealing cop-a-bilities which suddenly cast doubt on speed. This is very convenient. But... if speed is right, this means the baddies told one of their members (Pout) to torpedo themselves in order to get him lynched, which would be radical.

If speed is a baddie, what does this mean? If the baddies have a watching power, they watched their own baddie member to see who kills him? Why? They would assume that I was going to do the kill, right? Why waste a night on confirming what you already sort of knew? Unless due to night 1 results they guessed that there is a second vig? In which case, why come out publicly that you watched LC and know the person is out there? That's primo baddie team private info. They would just quietly NK that person tonight. So why this whole charade, if speed is bad? They risk that person coming out publicly and then getting protected tonight somehow.

I think it's entirely possible that the rezz was a gift to compensate for some people APPARENTLY threatening to quit mafia forever in a huff. It's only a guess, but it would certainly be an understandable way to do it. An outed civ ruins a day for the baddies? here, have a rezz that fucks up a day for the good team.

What happens if someone uses a patronum, which includes protecting themselves from dark arts, but they are also targeted by Imperio, which changes their targets?

Yeah, I just checked back, and quin who claims to have postponed my kill night 1 said nothing at all day 2 as I started suddenly defending bullz and hinting that i had reasons.

And you have kind of even-keeled/steady-as-she-goe'd since taking over, participating but not sticking your neck out. AndI didn't like the night action dump earlier, though that is more minor.
