Did I misread the op? I thought mafia gets 6 players and 2 prs? if i get it right mafia gets 8 selections, where 1-6 of those selections can be players. So it can technically be 1 mafia and 7 PR's/Mechanics, but that makes little sense probably unless the mechanics are something like extra lives or...
