i actually really want to dip jury duty but never get calledScotty wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 5:25 pmIf that would stop me from getting about 2 jury summons a season from my hometown that I don’t currently reside in, I’m in support of this initiativeGolden wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 4:07 pmI’m a public lawyer, currently in the child protection sector, previously in the justice sector. But now im also a manager with portfolio responsibilities and no time to do actual research (I still do some).
I know a decent amount about jury reform and, yes, this is my idea but the problem is abolition of juries is quite unpopular lol.

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 3]
This is the same argument teams make in overwatch to say that the esports meta is boring and stale because it's the same thing over and over but the problem is its not boring and stale it's the meta because it shits all over every other composition you can come up with UNTIL it doesn't at which point that is now the metaGolden wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 4:30 pmThere’s best practice in dentistry.
In mafia there is no best practice. There’s just people who think their way is best and people who have seen an abundance of styles work well and realise that you can’t science the game into an algorithm.
The reason I’m on a five game win streak as a deepwolf is that too many people think like you. I can beat ‘best practice’ every time but I’m fucked if I think I can beat SVSs gut.
A meta doesn't develop if it's really easily exploitable it develops because it trumps all other styles

The first group is rightly calling for accountability from the Wilgy voters, while the second has every reason to not want to rock the boat. Dennis is a newbie, what narrative is he going to try and control? Plus several players rushed to proclaim him townie for his EoD. Seanzie just narrowly escaped the noose, of course they'd avoid a thunder dome. SVS does look good from how they explained their vote, and how they wanted a tie.Golden wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 3:15 pm Gone back to read it again:
Kate - holy bad countertrain, wtf guys.
Sabi - Sean, golden, SVS or Lucy contains a wolf. Also, ties are bad.
Scotty = not committing, sure looks like a seanzie save to me. Rejects "SVS is obvtown" arguments.
Dennis - "with marmot dead, I'm not certain how to read the Wilgy wagon"
Seanzie - "not gonna dome sabi, that's derailing the thread, also SVS is obvitown"
SVS - Just explains her thinking
Instinct says Kate might just be caught up in that first bundle, it's not like examination of that group is bad. But it's quite central to why scotty and sabi are forefront of my mind today.
Conversely, the bottom group (people on the wilgy train) don't try to control the narrative at all.
I find the bolded rather amusing as controlling the narrative has been a large part of your play this game, including this post.
One down, one to go. Don't see a Scotty push so far this day though, curious.
This is my new favorite post in this gameScotty wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 8:21 pmI’ve been down this path with you before. Time is a circle jfc
When I go to the doctor for a pain in my chest, I don’t want the doctor to ask me what I think the problem is.
I offered you the chance yesterday to do some casing and alternative names, and offered a few names that I was assuming you suspected. Your response was very similar to this one.
This is how I get prescribed liver medication for my plaque psoriasis
Townie feeling frustration
Yeah it comes off rather disingenuous to act as if there are no valid reasons to suspect Seanzie.Scotty wrote: ↑Thu Dec 01, 2022 8:26 pmSorry. My sarcasm was coming on strong.
It was a response to Golden not finding a single shred of evidence that Seanzie could be wolf, and I was listing legitimately wolfy things that one could stop and go “yeah, that doesn’t sound towny”
Whether or not I think he is wolf at the present? Im not sure. Leaning not? I think a lot of those could just be Seanzie. I have horrible memory and don’t remember if that is behavior he normally exhibits as town
Reasons are simple : in a wolf Sean world, they obviously want to save their packmate. In a town Sean world, they're hoping to off a potential threat in Wilgy while the opportunity is ripe and they can act like they didn't think it'd go over, and then hope that town wants to flip the counterwagon the next day for the 2 for 1 special.Golden wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 4:06 pmAlso let me add to this that a clean wilgy wagon developing is the wolves wet dream. I'm not sure why any of them would jump on. Having it clean creates such a good opportunity to steer direction, which is exactly why I think it happened.Golden wrote: ↑Fri Dec 02, 2022 3:39 pm
Yeah, I have said if one isbad its Lucy.
Marmot is flipped
I know it’s not me
Seanzie is my top town at this point
SVS is also my top town at this point. They’re fighting for it.
I feel like the Dennis vote is clean.
I’m vibing town on Lucy but there’s some little reasons for doubt.
It's normal for a townie when they have reason to believe wolves think of them as a threat, which can be just felt as a known power town, but after being on two mislim wagons to start you'd think there would be some self-doubt that doc/wolves are prioritizing you.Golden wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 12:12 amBy the way, my point in saying this is not 'the kill target was me'.
It's that self-perceiving that you were at risk and that the doc saved you is normal.
But I don't think the answer is obvious. Could be you, could be me, could be someone else. The doc might have saved themselves for all we know.
Would you not say that if wolfchat was guiding someone coming into d2, going after Seanzie at the time of my post would be advised against considering there were multiple people defending him and momentum wasn't towards a Seanzie elim?
Do find it amusing that anyone thinks I'm being coached in general.
I found myself nodding along with it, like I’ve seemed to do with most of Soneji’s posts this game
“Don’t listen to golden, he’s miseliming civs, stuff he says is probably bad”
Most of all, ‘nah, golden, you weren’t the kill target’ well fuckity fuck fuck fuck, why even go there?
Only… come on soneji, tell me who the wolf is on the wilgy wagon?
I think having a mild level of suspicion on you is healthy in general

Re: Lawyers, Guns and Money- [DAY 3]
I was off wagon because I literally town read both wagons and if I was here for EoD I would've raised hell trying to get everyone to understand why I had a hard town read on Sabi but I messes up EoD times.Golden wrote: ↑Sun Dec 04, 2022 1:04 am Falcon and neon were off wagon. Bea and roxy didn't vote. Lucy voted in self-defence. Mata was on sabi. Fingersplints and soneji were on lucy. I'm almost inclined to let Scotty in to my town circle, but for completeness he was also on sabi. This doesn't give me a tonne to work with right now, but I'm noting that stuff for myself for future reference.

Gun to head, my call for bad team is Lucy, Soneji and one of Splints or Mata, maybe Neon.
I think Bea would have been replaced already if she were bad, and Rox has a certain tone when she’s bad, especially if someone has spoken nastily to her. Last night after Lucy called her “Fucking Roxy”, she responded pretty calmly to it. It’s a long time since we’ve played together and I could be 100% wrong since this is a tone read. But that sharp element she has when bad is missing.

I also think it's highly more probable than not that Sabi is town here. With that said I will never ever push sabi ever again even if I suspect them but in this case I'm highly comfortable saying I find it more likely that this behavior is indicative of town Sabi.
Also. Always flip the D1 CW
Always.
[VOTE: Seanzie] aubergine
I mean. I don't think Seanzie is particularly towny anyways but
Brain mush. Good God
***don't take this to mean that I wish seanzie wasn't eliminated day one over wilgy, I'm still not feeling good about him.
I'm comfortable with the 3 wagons now. Sean/sabi/lucy.
Is a thing I've struggled to reconcile because my old end goal was to sweep the woofs every game I played but feasibly that's just not gonna happen. Woofs have knowledge we don't the only way to get that knowledge is through flips since most if is only have the power of our vote and way to much paranoia

Elaborate more on those towns you have, and then please tell me more about... me.
SVS is town for something I forgot to write down while doing my catch up but I wrote lock town never rescind so I am gonna trust that and if you really care more than me saying vibes or something I'll dig it out of the iso when I've slept more than 2 hours in 2 days
Lucy is town solely on vibes. I just don't see the scummy motivation especially for how they acted d1 and I do think I've seen basically this exact play from town lucy but I can't point you to a post and say this is why it's a vibe thing. My vibes are good though
Dennis is so bleeding town that I don't even know how I'd have to explain it like... just read their day 1 and tell me is this a new wolf or a new town? Dennis is also better than I'll ever be but hey.
Sabi try hards as woof and is basically giving up and not being overwhelmingly present at all times. I do not think wolf Sabi does this I've never seen wolf Sabi not try hard and stress and pull their hair out over every little miniscule play. This could be faked but I don't think it is I've seen sabi play like this like word for word as town. If I've been snowed by sabi again I mean congrats you've got me fucked.
Seanzie. I dunno I don't think you're ever particularly town ish when I play with you but I can at least usually go hey I guess I can see what's going on here. I don't have that this game. I think someone should have pushed harder on the opening it was weird. I think you've been causing little micro chasms between townies poking and starting things and limping away. Also I wanna flip you for info.
