Yh, I really feel like wolfhunting's not going to be that useful in this game and it'd be better to create a towncore and try to filter it throughly.

Currently have SPF/Lemon/Dennis in my top one with Seanzie/Zenon/Pyxxy/PSV close by.

Kate/Sig/Six/Falcon/Ted are basically the final tier but I don't think all wolves are here and 1 probably snuck into the upper tier.

i have played with falcon quite a lot (probably upward of a dozen times) but he is also one of the players that i struggle to read the most. i will say that he has a fairly consistent tone/vibe regardless of his alignment, so i probably wouldn't read him for that

i was told in the last game that i played w/falcon that the best way to read falcon is by the specific angles that he's pushing and whether he seems alone in the thread, and he hasn't posted enough content for me to have a read on that yet

Yh, I feel like he's similar to Nanook as in the player that does play but doesn't really get invested into the game which makes them hardish to read based on microreads.

Prolly not a good d1 as well, tbh.

yeah, i would stop a bit short of saying that her reaction to being wagoned was towny, but it was towny enough for me to not feel as comfortable voting for her today, especially because i think she's likely to be the type of player who gets more readable as the game goes on

I don't think the game's ever as easy as Ted+2 people not playing tbh.

I kind of agree with the bolded to a certain extent, tbfh.

I just don't see the level of aggression that was present in Seanzie n0 and I expected that he'd just chomp down on a wolfread and hard-push it while he's kind of been somewhat flaccid today.

I don't really have a solid wolfread rn due to the low levels of engagement in this game so I'd probably just kill one of the people I'm not townreading as this focus on TRs over SRs is usually the ideal way to solve a game with this level of participation.

Tell me about Kate and Lemonfairy.

I've wolfed with Lemonfairy and against her once each time last month.

When she was a wolf she kind of just floated around the thread aimlessly and when poked she would churn out a readlist with no form of lead-up to it while when she was a villager she kind of just obssessed over a slot, wolfread it, and started solving around the slot.

I feel like the way that she's trying to solve the game is a 1:1 replica of how she tried to solve in her towngame so I'm pretty confident that she's villaging here.

Kate I've already explained it. It's a faint read but with how much of the thread feels villagery I don't think we're in a game-state where wolves have much influence.

It's a micro-read but her only actual content was saying that Dennis was in his V meta and this was after I pointed out that his demeanor was fairly villagery.

In general it feels kind of off being that it was just an "I agree" post with little substance while at the same time not really furthering the game-state and more of a post to make her look like she was doing something.
Well, also a lot of people have townread me so far so I'm kinda just like sitting here taking it, but they were all for the same reason (my response to Ted vote) so doesn't everyone minus the first person kinda fall into the same basket?

Also, she's my mother and has read me wrong exactly once, so she always gets her read out on me early

I guess take this defense as you will, but I wouldn't vote Kate for this

Main issue I have with that is that she kind of did it after we started warming up on your slot and that you were the only one she TR'd, tbh.

It kind of feels like she is playing relatively safe-ish.

From PSV's reaction I doubt it.

PSV had a fairly strong reaction to Seanzie's early accusation where distancing wolves kind of don't really care about each others' suspicions being that they know that it's only distancing.

Her only content was basically reiterating a townread on Dennis based on meta which is frankly one of the easiest and safest things to do as a wolf, tbh.

Tone, wolves generally try to appease their wagoners when wagoned this early and PSV kind of just doesn't really care about the votes behind her at all. Main issue I have with them is that I feel like they haven't done much content-wise this match but the thing is that her wagon has kind of felt stale so I don't think this is a hit.

why on Dennis and pyxxy?

Dennis I said above where him going "I have no reads" was brutally honest and him questioning my TR on them felt as a good follow-up since wolves generally just take TRs on them and don't really go anywhere with that.

Pyxxy's read was mostly from his response as that feels kind of like a very weird angle of attack for a wolf to take when I voted him. In general his entire thought process on the reasoning behind my vote felt like it had a certain level of depth that a wolf wouldn't.

My TR on you boils to your response to ted since from experience this sort of attitude, as in responding "I have no reads" when pressed for reads tend to come from villas as wolves when pressed on for reads don't want to look like they're empty-handed and will just sheep consensus reads like Seanzie V or just randomly make stuff up. You straight-up owning that you have no reads here feels honest in a way that a wolf wouldn't for fear of looking like they aren't productive.

Basically, this was implied by your vote on me.

You voted Lemon but instantly switched to tedxtr in a way that makes me not count the Lemonfairy vote.

Moving off tedxtr to me (pyxxy) was accurately perceived by Dennis and myself as you picking another name from low posters/less active/none really townreads these people yet pool.

That pinged me as sus because as I somewhat unclearly laid out, people who don't know me love to do that to me, and it's got scum caught more than once.

However I think you just naked vote as a stylistic choice, so I would like to [VOTE: Unvote] aubergine

The naked vote thing is a stylistic thing that I always do. My playstyle basically boils down to making these sorts of votes then question the people I'm voting to generate content and if their response is not satisfactory enough then I just hard-push them as the elimiantion. This usually works more often than not.

People who are not used to me often misread it like me seeking for easy miselims so I'm used to getting wolfread like this. Shrug

I think the interesting thing about me is that people who don't know me like to vote me for the exact reasons that you've described (I've way underposted my average so far this game tho)

if you're scum + you're the type to actively talk with your scummates + some of them are familiar with me, then I don't think you make that vote on me

if you're scum + you either aren't a hyperdetailed player as scum / you don't have scummates that are familiar with me, then I think you _do_ make that vote on me, because I'm a decent place to put a vote and with 2 votes you're just looking for another wagon to start besides yourself, it's early goings, etc

unfortunately [redacted] is still ongoing but it's literally an example of this happening
