That's why I rarely bother to read General Discussions. It doesn't bother me much except when it derails threads.

I really miss the endless religious arguments, though.

And this is because of my avatar. I was really digging Henry Cow years ago (I think '08) and hadn't decided on an avatar back on PA (I was in between avatars at the time), so thought I'd try one of their album covers out -- and then that year was an election year, so I spontaneously decided to put in my signature "This message is approved by the Grand Sockian Dictator" or something to that effect, and the nickname(s) stuck, I suppose.
