The theme is how old gods linger like ghosts in our supposedly "enlightened" civilization- no one needs a graven image to worship what they do. What's interesting is that almost all of the material going on this album is very old- some of which I wrote when I was 19. It's fascinating getting to revisit this stuff and rework it using my accumulated experience and technology.

I also pay tribute to my two most favorite poems in literature.

One of our students was killed early Sunday morning. He would have been sitting in the class next door right now if that had not happened.
