Eloh and I made out for six hours straight on March 18, 2000.
The next morning, I could still feel her lips on mine.
One of the most awesome moments of my youth.

Re: Random~
The theme is how old gods linger like ghosts in our supposedly "enlightened" civilization- no one needs a graven image to worship what they do. What's interesting is that almost all of the material going on this album is very old- some of which I wrote when I was 19. It's fascinating getting to revisit this stuff and rework it using my accumulated experience and technology.Mongoose wrote:Does the new album have a theme? Could this be your magnus opus?
I also pay tribute to my two most favorite poems in literature.

Anywho, I am making mint juleps, and my wife is making strawberry daquiris. People can bring whatever else they want. There will be beer (obviously).
And there will be 3 hours of 80s music. More if I can pick out more songs.
I am jumping out of my skin.
And I hate parties.

Do you know why you will never see me getting drunk, acting crazy, and partying on Facebook?Mongoose wrote:The US Census Bureau says Gen X lasts through 1982 (which is the year I was born), so I will wear my Gen X badge with pride. Also yikes, I'm almost the same generation as my parents. But honestly I relate more to them than my 16 y/o sister.
My sister is like "What was it like to grow up without the internet? What did you do if you wanted to find something out?" and I tell her we went to the library. Thank goodness I went through high school (and college) without facebook. It was drama-causing enough in law school.
Sometimes when my sister is incredulous about our lack of tech in the 80s and 90s, it's like me asking my grandparents what it was like growing up without A/C, plumbing, antibiotics or the Salk vaccine.
I need a video on how to use a French press as the Greyhound is only making enough for him today. I bet I can find a youtube video on that.
