I have to think about this, but off the top of my head I don't think there's any way to soundly strategize on this one. Maybe if you got into some complex game theory stuff, I don't know.

As for my levels, they are low and will continue to get lower unless I get help, but I don't have any intention on being conservative right now with them.

Maybe I'd get a bonus for vomiting on my opponent.

That was my original plan, but LC brings up a good point about choosing yellow and switching to black at the last minute. What if that's what the other team is doing? We've already seen two yellows from them. Do I play it safe and go black or do I go with my original idea and choose yellow so the rest of you get food?
Go yellow now, and switch to black (if you choose to) at the latest possible time.

I don't trust that everyone will be around at the latest possible time to switch. I would feel more comfortable if we took the guaranteed dub.

I'm not sure it's worth it to go with black every time. The only thing we win for this challenge is fishing gear, which I assume allows us easier access to food. But some yellow votes could rack up a ton of food for our party anyway, so I'm thinking a mix might be the best solution, especially if they have a spy and can thwart at least one black vote.

How can they thwart a black rock?

The best they can do is give us nothing and get nothing.

I'm just waiting to see if anyone can point out any flaws in my thinking.

If the goal is to gain more points than the other team, the solution is for every single one of us to use the black rock (sorry LC- we need her

).

If even one of the other team uses a yellow rock, we win.
If we use a yellow rock, we're marks. And you know what they say...if you're sitting at the table long enough and you can't spot the mark...

If the goal is to accumulate food, that's a different matter. However, if we all use black rocks, the worst case scenario is that nothing happens and the other tribe gains no advantage over us.
