Thank you for playing, O people of Sin-d'kaht. See you on the other side of Judgement Day.

Return to “Biblical Mafia [ENDGAME]”
I believe so, yes.Bass_the_Clever wrote:This was a cool game. Sorry for messing up so bad. I think I set a record for not posting or voting as my sock.
Epi the night I protected Sam was there no night kill because of that?
Correct.Long Con wrote:Night 1 - Death of the Firstborn: "If Moses chooses the Death of the Firstborn, Death gains permanent BTSC with the first dead person. This person is still dead, but can cast a vote. This person cannot cast a vote if Death dies." Metalmarsh (Samson), got the ability to vote and make it count. Also shared Death's win condition?
This was why Lot and Lazarus had to keep voting each other.Long Con wrote:Night 7 - Blood: "If Moses chooses Blood, War can force two people to vote one another in perpetuity until one of them is dead. The survivor, the next Day, may only post using words that have been used in dead red." So, this was the reason Lot and Lazarus had to keep voting each other? What about only posting in words that had been used in dead red? Did that happen? Wasn't there a previous pair of people who had been forced to vote each other?
Famine was dead by then, so no.Long Con wrote:Night 8 - Locusts: "If Moses chooses Locusts, Famine can silence the Heathen with the most posts." What happened with this? Did Famine silence a Heathen?
He won, so I would say yes.Long Con wrote:Night 10 - Pestilence: "If Moses chooses Pestilence, Conquest will be able to substitute a dead name on his faction with a living name from another." MP07, as Conquest 2.0, any word on this? Did it help you?
RUSS VOTED FOR YOU OUT OF NOWHEREFZ. wrote:^I don't remember what Jacob said, but I think he hinted that he's the reason there was no night, when we lynched a heathen.
And no, we haven't played together. It was a pleasure playing with you, apart from the fact you got me lynched :P . I forgive you. Funny thing is, I think I'm usually a transparent civvie...except for when I'm not and llama and Epi badly want to lynch me.
Moses did it. Blame Long Con. Four of the ten plagues benefited one of the horsemen. Blood let War pick two people who had to vote each other until one of them was dead.Spacedaisy wrote:I was put in a feud with Mordecai. But I was not told I was force voted which is why I didn't understand why others seem to have been. Epi, can you explain this mechanic?

Epignosis wrote:Famine, the Black Horseman
*Secrets*
Famine weakens someone through malnourishment. Famine’s target can only post one time the next Day. Once, Famine may silence up to three people at the same time for the next Day. Famine wins if the number of posts at endgame do not exceed 9,000 posts (4 living horsemen), 8,000 posts (3 living horsemen), 7,000 posts (2 living horsemen), 6,000 posts (1 living horseman), or 5,000 posts (0 living horsemen). If Famine dies, the person with the fewest number of posts will die. Posts made by the host, non-players, and the dead will not count toward the total. Famine does not need to be alive to win.
Nicodemus did it.S~V~S wrote:Epi, why were 4 people silenced Night One?
Samson's vote was completely visible.MovingPictures07 wrote:So the moral of the story is that apparently Epi loves invisible vote manipulation.
You didn't get Samson because he was your first target. There was another mechanic in play for that: Moses.Ricochet wrote:And I don't think Epig explained it, but Samson became my "Angel of Death" after he died and he became my first target. He shared my win condition and was allowed to vote, but not post on-topic. He refrained to vote for a while, because all the lynches were straightforward, but the day Isaac and Mordecai got close, we stood by and, under my command, he made it a tie. Unfortunately, that completely backfired on us and got my killed afterwards.
And MM totally outed himself in the BTSC by signing as "MM89-Phone", right after Epig specifically sent us PMs in which he told us NOT to out ourselves.![]()
MM's tale as Samson is so ironic, I can't even. Signed up as sock, still gets killed D1. Gets stuck with me in BTSC, like old mafia chums. Depends his win on me entirely. I lurked in the chat and jumped in his place during the Second Trivia Game, without warning. He gets the win after all, even though he lost D1. Epic.
Death (Belshazzar) won the 2nd trivia challenge. The prize depended on the winner's alignment, but it all dealt with the non-participant Malchus. Death won, so that was easy. He dies.MovingPictures07 wrote:I am also very curious as to a few of the more random kills this game, like Phinheas's spear seemingly not matching the circumstances in the role listing.juliets wrote:Epi, what did those deaths that said "smote by the Lord" or something like that come from? Were they you modkilling?
Divine judgment. Every third civilian lynch meant a civilian would get whacked that night by the good Lord unless Noah saved him.juliets wrote:Epi, what did those deaths that said "smote by the Lord" or something like that come from? Were they you modkilling?
That's why Famine's win condition consisted of such higher numbers. I thought (given recent games) the post count gave him was reasonable.MovingPictures07 wrote:Epignosis wrote:Yes. About that. I was saddened by that myself. Even with my hectic RL and playing another game, I was able to post once per period as Stephen for a while there.
I did that on purpose.XthAtGAm3RGuYX wrote:FUN FACT: All the heathens names were Mordecai, Uzziah, Ruth, Deborah, Esther, Rahab. If you cut out all but the first letters, it spells MURDER.
