In any case, I feel the fact me and rey got defeated could have been prevented if I thought to forgo the kill some nights when the books came along just in case. It crossed my mind, but why I didn't bring it up or do it I'll never know.

Re: [END] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
I honestly think the highlight for me was the feud between DH and me on who was Herman. I used the information I had in order to narrow it down, but sending bwt to execute rey really sealed the deal for us. He served his purpose well.MovingPictures07 wrote:Everyone should now go sign up for Epignosis's Masters of the Universe Mafia! It is going to be insanely epic, I know that much. And yours truly will be playing in it instead of hosting, which helps, yes, I know.![]()
I know, you did great!Boomslang wrote:Well played, all. Almost made it to the end, but to no avail.get friggin 2x votes, how is that fair? Oh well, that's me being a sore loser :P
It was weird because both timmer and Epignosis's roles were dangerous ones to have around for a while and they both lasted until the end. I didn't think that amount of vote manipulation would likely be thrown around in endgame when I created them, but they both played well. It was funny to see Epignosis push his agenda from what was in the night posts, lol, and then the Cyan Book died with Kate so timmer and Epignosis's roles didn't end up getting revealed.
This was amusing; I thought Epignosis was going to die, several times. The votes saved him and he came so close to dying by Illyria/Moondog but she flipped two tails.DisgruntledPorcupine wrote:I did enjoy framing Epignosis though. Shame the votes got all kerfuffled.
You and rey did awesome, I thought for a while there it was going to be a showdown between Residents and Duo after Ziltoid's team kind of died off (they did well for the first 4 days), but then BWT killed himself and I was like, uh oh, lol.

The volcano began to rumble once more and this time the sky turned even more ominous. "I don't have a good feeling about this..." remarked S~V~S. Herman the Hologram appeared out of nowhere, facing all the players. "HELLO! THE NAME'S HERMAN! AND I LOVE VOLCANOES!" He picked up S~V~S and rabbit8, one in each hand, and then forcefully threw them both into the volcano. Both unlucky souls met instant death.
What makes even less sense is how a friggin' hologram can pick up things.

Seriously, here are my observations, for what they are worth:
1. Two players were "lynched," but not by popular vote (as is normally the case). This suggests either major manipulations of the votes, or lynch switching (not even sure if that's a thing). That two players were killed instead of only one, though, is bewildering. My guess, however, is that it has something to do with Portal 1. Any thoughts?
2. rabbit8 has not been lynched before; that means Ziltoid the Omniscient did not find the cup of coffee.
3. Ziltoid the Omniscient can attempt a recruit each night if he is not roleblocked, but Captain Squizloid would absorb any night action against ZtO, meaning, if CS is not dead, ZtO would never have been roleblocked ever, which means, at a 50% rate, there could be as many as four civilian recruits (whether living or dead, I cannot say).
4. S~V~S was set to die in two days, but that (obviously) did not preclude her from being killed off prematurely by some other act.
5. No one has been insanified for quite some time; that means Christian Vander is probably dead.
I am having a cup of coffee. It isn't perfect, but it's mine.

Re: [DAY 8] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
I am not defending myself because people are going after me.DisgruntledPorcupine wrote:No, I haven't been. I'm on the shortlist (there's only one list that matters, so saying both is meaningless), yes. But Epignosis is defending himself because people are going after him. I haven't received heat, so I'm not gonna sit here and yell at nothing. And I find it funny how you gingerly avoided suspecting Aces there.:O
I've accused you of something, and you snake away, hiding behind people going after me. "I haven't received heat."
Come on- got anything better? Less than a hour to vote.

I accused you when I posted my list.DisgruntledPorcupine wrote:Right. So you're asking me to defend myself when I'm not even being accused. Marvelous.timmer wrote:Let's just say I feel Epig has been a little more forceful in trying to defend himself than you, who are just sitting back nonchalantly.DisgruntledPorcupine wrote:
I assume you're expecting me to say "No. Your list is wrong. The voting records are false and I received invisible votes that prevented me from possibly being Herman. You're all horribly misled."

You should be a lawyer.Mr. Droopy Cash wrote:Boats, Epig, and Rabbit are my Top 3 to vote for. Boats comment to not vote Epig has me suspicious. I think I'll vote Epig anyway though. I believe he's not Herman but I think he's bad as well. He keeps saying "I am NOT Herman" with great emphasis but he isn't claiming he's good. He's just saying we're wrong about him being Herman.
*votes Epig*

Very well. I give up reasoning with you bandwagon people. If you've the balls, go on and vote for me. I'm done, yeah? Then you'll see I was telling the truth.BoatsBoatsBoats wrote:Oh thanks, I was pretty doubtful before, but this convinced me.Epignosis wrote:I'm not Herman.S~V~S wrote: OK, this post kinda does it for me. It sounds kind of like Epi really, really loves this role. A few things.
