Holy shit, Long Con! I'm so glad I checked back in, you've given me the answer, it was right in front of me the whole time! im gooing to ask you to read that day one more time! :omg: I was so blind sided by THs role that I never put two and two together. Read my posts from that day again!

Any bets on whether there will be a nightkill tonight? Wally killed rabbit last night, so he most likely won't be killing tonight. Grodd's kill seems to have been eliminated with The Top's death. Plunder seems pretty dead to me.
You have a pretty damn good point here. I haven't put too much thought into it, but my trust in FZ is primarily due to her sounding sincere... If she turns out to be the lying "OR" I will feel like a major fool.

Well, Llama was Barry Allen, according to his lynch post. But your post got me to thinking some craaaaazy thoughts. Maybe when the lightning struck and we got put into this alternate universe, Barry and Zoom switched roles! No, I dunno. Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 10)

Keep in mind when reading these quotes that they are from Day 4. Roxy was just imprisoned N3, and her potential partner's lynch was D3 (BF as the Glider).
After these quotes he goes on to say that he and Roxy had some shady btsc where she claimed an old rogue role (we all know which one by now) and where she in no way, shape, or form tried to dissuade him from voting for blindfaeth. It's easy to put words in the mouth of a dead person. I'd like to hear thoughts from everyone else on how they think things went down.

Linki: I'm sorry you feel that way FZ
Also, I know. I had btsc with llama for a time. I was referring to DH potentially being the piper.

What do people think about these? I wasn't around when this was going down. They are in chronological order.

I'm heading to bed but all I will say is that Roxy bamboozled me in map btsc and my inability to see her true nature cost us yesterday's Lynch and valuable time. I blame my misread on saving Aces and pushing his lynch to Daisy. In fact, he is very likely bad and my actions really hurt. More tomorrow.

I don't exactly know what to think of Roxy bamboozling you in map BTSC, what you think her "true nature" is, and anything else you're saying regarding Aces... but the gist seems to be that you think he's bad, and that jives with what I'm thinking. And BR as well, it seems.
When Day 3 had its weird reset, Roxy and I ended up in btsc together. She insinuated that she was an Old Rogue and that she had contact with Glider, and thus when I suggested certain things about MY role to her (we weren't outing ourselves, but speaking in certain generalities that I think we both understood, etc.) she said flat out "you know I'll know if you're lying pretty quick, then, right?" The point is, that entire day I kept telling her that I had no idea who to vote for, and she knew SPECIFICALLY that I was going back and forth between DH and BF, and she never said ANYTHING about not voting BF, or tried to push me away from such an idea.

Then we both traveled in sync last night but she never came into btsc before day started. I left a long thing in btsc asking "wtf roxy?" but she never came in.

All in all, I think Roxy was bad. I think I sat there and suggested certain things to her carefully, I think she just soaked it up. I feel like an idiot.

So yeah, I think that we had a baddie nailed to the wall the other day in Aces, and I think, like an idiot, I helped save his ass.

Where is Sophie today? And Bass?
Dunno, I'd love to hear from them.

Devin posted once at the beginning of the day phase, so he is certainly not silenced, and I'd love to hear from him as well. I'm even listening to Devin Townsend's at this moment.
Nope, not silenced. Lol. Just extremely busy this week (although this doesn't compare to what next week will be like :0). I'm in accounting and we are preparing for a speedy month end close.

But, after what I just posted re: SVS, I agree that Timmer is likely the one who is lying right now. He almost had me earlier on with his pity party, which is why I stopped voting for him at the time. He seemed genuine, then, but it almost seems impossible for his "role claim" to be true (probable?). I also think he was lying about DH's grave. But why? Maybe to get the new rogues to continue hunting for the detectives? (I hope what I'm saying makes sense. I read through everything kind of quickly while trying to NOT fall asleep at my desk).
FZ seems all around genuine, so she is out of this running completely.

Okay, thanks. I don't have much experience with LC, but I've been feeling really good about him all game.
Also, I've been suspecting FZ to be an Indie. She's been playing the "very confused" card a lot and I have to say, it has felt pretty genuine to me. But from my personal use of this card in the past, I can certainly say that it's easy to skate by using this tactic while the more "sure" players get lynched or do the lynching/hunting.

I'm voting Devin.

Wally would have not have tried to imprison Devin before because the role was vacant. Someone apparently targeted Girder last night. It was Devin and Long Con who mentioned that Girder was in play last night. They were in tune with what happened. Good odds that one of them could be Girder. And again, we see the failed kills happening now, with Devin in the game and his role now logically targeted.

I believe there is about a 75% chance Devin is Girder and that role cannot be nk'd.

voting devin
Great, a hunch case
So you mean to say that it wasn't obvious to you that Girder was targeted. "The sound of crunching steel pierced the night." Deductive reasoning, my friend. You don't get these sounds when bones are being crushed under a train. Not that I've heard it before, but I'm thinking about it logically. But then he just gets up and walks away from being run over by a train? Yeah. Come on.
Also, who said I was targeted for a night kill? None of those were me. :smoky:

The very next section states that the serial killer attempted to murder a bystander. I won't say "innocent bystander" because the next section after that starts with "The sound of crunching steel pierced the night." Right before the would-be victim walks away unharmed. I think that's your Girder...

SVS, I did not have that in my role PM. I'm very curious by yours, though. :ponder:

Well, I'm sticking to my guns in trusting MM. I will likely vote Timmer again the next Day. I may even consider moving to TH. I think BR has a very interesting point there. I also think it's interesting that MM's mind control was entirely based around saying Timmer's name, and TH has been vouching for Timmer this whole time. Set up for civ cred? I wonder.

I tend to agree with what you say here, devin :srsnod:
(To avoid quoting myself I'll just quote Sophie). The more I think about it, TH does seem to be a logical vote for our Top search. So I'll go ahead and vote there for now.

RIP llama! :(

Ahem! Sure.

I may end up voting TH if we can't get more Timmer votes today.

I agree with LC regarding Bass. It's pretty obvious now who he is and I don't think he should be lynched, especially since he seems to have good intentions.

I can't talk about why I think MM is bad. I think Sophie is bad because the way she is defending MM and the way she has played all game.
I asked for background for this accusation when I voted for Timmer. You're saying you won't say anything to convince me that MM is the right way to go?
Atm, I'm actually considering moving my vote to TH so that MM can. Obviously at least one more player needs to do the same.

By the way, since the first page is not updated, can anyone remind me who is still alive?
The way I read it: Grodd is dead, so the remaining "Arch Villain" (assuming one is alive, of course) inherits his kill. I don't know why another faction would inherit the serial killer's kill, even if their own killer is AFK. I don't think the host would mod that way, and then announce it in the host post. Then again I've never played a MR game before :shrug2:
From the last nightkill, it appears that a killer tried to kill the Trickster's target. As the role has been deciphered.

Tricker's abilities - "Leaves a “trap” on one player during even nights. If that player is targeted, the action is reversed"

According to the nightkill post, the killer tried to kill a player, but the action was reversed, and the knife flung back at the killer. But the killer was able to "redirect" the kill elsewhere. Hence LC's assumption that the Top (the secret role) is the new killer.

Secret Role's Abilities - ????????????????? – He may spin… really fast. Night kills directed at him will be redirected at a random player. His spinning abilities somehow gave him the power to mind control as well. Every night, he may choose a player to act as he wishes during the next day.

Anyway, I agree with LC on this one. I think the Top is the new killer as well.
Ooooh, that's a good catch. I did not see this before. :ponder:

I agree 100% with this. I think Soniji would be a good candidate for the next lynch.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)

Uhh yeah. I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this came from left field. I would like more background on the MM votes. I've voted for Timmer before so I have no problem doing it again. I should have plenty of time to check in tomorrow before the poll closes tomorrow. Hopefully more develops around this...

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 7)

RIP Daisy :(

FZ, I read the mystery phrase the same way. I doubt Daisy was the killer, though. I think "innocent bystander" is exactly what she was in that scenario. I think it was quite literal in meaning that the killer deflected his own knife.
I also agree that the trickster could have set the "trap" on himself, but the may not necessarily be the case.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 6)

Also just remembered that we have another day to vote, so things could definitely change.
I want to hear from more people on the current SVS - Timmer situation llama because I don't want to let a potential New Rogue to get away in a cloud of pity vapors :ninja:
