Here he suggests reading the last game as comparison, with the qualifier that "its only one game." But...he calls it typical.

So essentially, he picks and chooses who should be able to read him and why and then condemns any reads on him based on the exact method he put forth for reading him.

In this case, I think lucy is being resistant to being readable in general, not necessarily not being townread.

This is clearly you trying to get me re-engaged. I have told you, I just have less to comment on. I am still engaged, I assure you. I am godawful at starting conversations but if someone gets me going, that's when I start really going in.

But, to answer your question, I have only played 1 game with Lucy, and she was mafia. But never approaching 2 games the same makes sense, and her reluctance to be read is a good thing IMO. It was annoying being immediately town read by everybody in LGM, because it kinda took away the thrill of 'Ooh someone's voting me!' because I got like 4 votes in total. So, I agree with her on not wanting to be readable, if not for anything else for the thrill of it.

Dennis came out much more confident and inquisitive in the first game, which was actually his FIRST game. He seemed to drop right into his element, so to say. Here, he seems to be guarded and less willing to post. I thought it early on but was giving him the benefit of the doubt bc (as I've said a few times now) there is far less activity. I seem to recall, even as a newb he was not just talking, but GENERATING conversation. I don't see that here.

Also the interaction with lucy was almost stage-y. Like let's put on the same back and forth as last game but keep it less objectionable to your mom. (Lol) although I'm not sure Dennis would take instruction, but it could be a plan. Just thinking out loud at this point...something is rotten in the town of Constantinople (

In this case, I think lucy is being resistant to being readable in general, not necessarily not being townread.

That's a good point about lucy, she did state that she wants her game to be different every game. @Dennis thoughts on this?

Normally this would be OT, but since the host asked, imma call it topical. Last non fiction book I read that I really enjoyed was "I am Not a Serial Killer" by Dan Wells. It's part of a trilogy and I plan to buy the others after the holidays.

I have no reason to think Lucy is bad, she seems more interested in figuring out the last game to me so far, so I am not really seeing an agenda re this one. Civs generally always have the same agenda, if someone seems to have a different agenda, that's eye catching. But it's early times.

The only things that stuck out to me so far are Rondo calling out the first three people to post besides him and Falcon, but I didn't see his early game in LGM. This kind of thing could be the norm for him so meh. IIRC he pretty much voted for almost everyone every day, or nearly so, in LGM.

Another is Kate talking about how quiet it is with out Golden and Scotty, but not really engaging outside of OT herself. But it's early days, and I know she isn't feeling well irl, although I decided after last game to stop letting that influence me so much. I like to sort her out early becasue she can blindside me, although i can't remember the last time she was bad in a game where I was civ.

A third is Lemonfairy champing at the bit to start towards the end of zero, then falling off. Could be a time zone thing, I never played with them (hi new to me person!). I see you already voted for them; is this a real vote, a vibe vote or a placeholder until something better comes along vote? Do you have experience with them?

i play very intuitively, however i'm also analytic when necessary. i also wasn't lying about my memory, i've never taken notes in a single class, nor do i need spreadsheets to track reads, it's all easily retained. if you analyzed me closely last game what specifically tricked you into not lynching me?

This is how I was in school too. All I had to do was show up to class and that meant automatic A. Never forgot anything I heard. I would have stayed in school forever if I could have. My dad started calling me a professional student...
