Also, I forgot to add that part of the reason I haven't been as active either is because I am tweaking some stuff on my Doctor Who game, which will go into sign-ups at some point today! ![Very Happy :D](./images/smilies/veryhappy.gif)

Re: Day 2 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Sorry I haven't been around! I've been fairly busy with work yesterday and other family activities this weekend. I just spent the last hour or so catching up though, and I think I am up to speed now.
The two people that currently stick out to me are Hedge and JC. I feel like Hedge was trying to pick out two easy targets for lynches, and then cover her butt if either of them got lynched and wound up civ. I think rey and SVS covered it in pretty good detail already, but that's how I felt about her posts. As for JC, the LC debate was definitely pingy, but for some reason I'm a bit more hesitant about her. My only guess is it's because I usually have a hard time reading JC. Most likely I will be voting for one of the two, but I want to see what else develops.

Re: Night 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Well to me at the time, it felt like you were the first person to just hop along and roll with the bandwagon. Do you know who the other person that commented on it being "interesting" was?Mongoose wrote:1. I wasn't even the one who brought up the fact that y'all two voting for Sock was interesting. Someone else agreed with it I think before I even said anything. Plus, that was only a small part. I didn't feel good about voting for Made and voting for a third party would be throwing one's vote away. I just didn't feel the need to go into why I was voting him when others had discussed it to death and others voted without stating specific reasons (which is pretty reasonable when literally infinite people vote for Player X).birdwithteeth11 wrote:Yeah, given what character from the movie that MP was, I'm going to go ahead and say that was a worthwhile lynch. I would assume with fairly good certainty that he was a SK. So BIH MP! Sorry about that, Alex! But good luck with this semester, man!
You sure about that? We saw this thread hit 30 pages for Day 1, and there's plenty of people playing who love to talk during the night. Me for starters.Made wrote:You'll probably be fine, can't see people talking too much during night.juliets wrote:Everyone, we will be driving to the lake for labor day weekend tomorrow so i will be in the car until about 9:00pm. I mentioned a quote from Mongoose earlier. If anyone wants me to re-quote it, I can, but I did so on the previous page. Basically, it seemed like she was voting for MP partially because Daisy and I did. Does anyone agree or disagree with me on that? Because right now, I feel like there might be something there.
With MR, if he said in the chat that he went to go eat something and would be back, and that didn't happen, then idk. But I'm done trying to use the chat to prove anything to myself. If others want to use it, fine, but I think it's a waste of time when we can't go back and look at what was said and have to take it on people being genuine and honest about it. So from now on, I am going to pay close attention to anyone who tries to use things said from the chats as evidence to make a case on someone.
Let's see...Mongoose and MR are all I've got for now in terms of suspicions (albeit not very strong ones right now). I feel like there might have been another one, but I need to go back and look.
Linki: Llama's mustache > Every other mustache on this site. Sorry, but IRL he has the best mustache I have ever seen.
2. When Logan/Llama and I went to the Dali Museum 2 weeks ago, someone stopped us and asked him if he was Dali's son. Then we did a walking tour and someone said he'd not trust him because he had a funky mustache. THEN two other people mentioned his hirsute face to him while we were at Tampa Theatre.
And I think I remember you telling me that story. Still quite funny though.

Omniscient as I am, this thread is a formidable and daunting task.
I HAVE A QUEST FOR YOU ALL:
You must give me a synopsis of this thread, in your own words, with perhaps some little bits of decoration.
As for the synopsis, I would say it's been an Enrique/llama/Made love/hate triangle that has spilled over to the rest of the game, resulting in throngs of lustful, orally stimulating passion. Except for MP, because he is dead now. There may be some others not feeling the love yet, but I'm sure they will be.....converted.

Re: Night 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
I think the more old-school thought of mafia (which I consider myself towards the tail-end of, given I used to do this) is to not say a whole lot at night and hope the baddies divert their attention away from you. Whereas more the newer players tend to be more outspoken during the night in hopes that the baddies will go after lower/quieter posters and avoid the people drumming up conversation. I don't think there's necessarily a right or wrong way to go about it. But for me personally, I prefer to get all my thoughts out that I can during night in case I do end up getting killed. That way I don't regret not mentioning something I could have said while I was alive.Made wrote:Like who? I've been told talking at night was sort of an unorthodox thing.birdwithteeth11 wrote: You sure about that? So you non-nonchalantly left us, 3 of us, on our own to do that whole challenge? Do you know how hard that was? So really what I get out of what you're saying is you didn't care - you had no desire to help the team out. This explanation just doesn't help me with my uneasiness about you. I think there is a fair chance you not only didn't care you planned to not help us after you checked out who was there and saw we were not your teammates. No one else who was part of our group did this and some people like bwt and mp came in as soon as they could after they found out about the event. So bottom line, you intentionally didn't help us and as a result we struggled and ended up here. I am uneasy about you so you get my vote today -

Linki @ BWT, guess I'm not the only one who is not feeling like Alex is trustworthy this go round!
As a side note, I know Enrique was making comments about wanting to hear more from me. Right now I'm dealing with my 2nd week of a new promotion to a management position. And I'm already in long work hours, during which I have zero time to check into this game at all. And given I'm already sitting in front of a computer for 6+ hours every day so far this week, you'll forgive me if I don't spend tons and tons of time reading up on mafia.
I'm sorry if that comes off as rude or harsh, but I've gotten comments like that several times in the last few games I've played, I've felt. And lately, I've been getting more and more frustrated with mafia with seemingly every game with the last few. It finally hit me tonight that that is why. I was very, VERY close to not playing this game and deciding taking a break was a better option. But I like Roxy and DP and know that the two of them co-hosting a game together would be oodles and oodles of fun. So I decided to go for it. But know that I put as much time and effort as I can mentally allow for mafia. I do genuinely enjoy it and want to keep playing. But I feel like it's just that one more comment of "You should be posting more" etc. that I got that made me want to scream out loud lol.
Alright. I'm getting of my soapbox now.

Re: Day 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Alright. So I just accidentally deleted my last post. So this one is going to be much shorter.
I am not voting for anyone in the Made/llama/Enrique triangle. I think that is such a clusterf**k and I'm running in 5000 circles with it. So until that settles down a bit, I will not be looking in that direction.
I will, however, go ahead and vote for MP. I feel like he's contributing without saying a whole lot, and sticking to the shadows some. Plus I don't feel comfortable with the way he gunned for SVS (who I'm feeling fairly confident about so far, which says something this early given I usually feel like I can't read her well at all).
I think looking at the Made/llama/Enrique love/hate triangle is not the way to go for this lynch. I think it's a bunch of civs at this point, arguing over something that we can't prove and no longer exists. I would encourage others to look elsewhere for this lynch.
Votes MP

I don't know. I don't know if it's something that happened when I was there at the time or not. My head's been trying to fight the current since this game started, and it's getting harder and harder as time goes on. I'm just now checking back in since about 10:40 last night, and I have 6+ pages to catch up on I see. I'm going to try my best, but if the game continues at this rate, I will be getting replaced pretty quickly. Re: Day 1 Monty Python and the Holy Grail
Holy shit. I go away for a few hours, and the thread has left a smoldering ruin of destruction in its wake.
As to Made, I think that's very interesting the way he responded to the possible hinting at BTSC in the chatzy thread. I need some time to sit on this one and really think it out. I will say that I think MP, llama, and Enrique (among others) are using it to create some genuine discussion. But my head is swimming and I've tried not to spend a lot of time in front of my laptop tonight. I spent at least 12 hours at work over the last 2 days staring at a computer screen doing training and tests on it, so my eyes needed a bit of a rest lol. And I have 2-3 more days of it too.
But tomorrow evening, I will try and get a better idea of what's going on and contribute more.

In that case, what is your stance on political campaign contributions?Enrique wrote:And no, nothing on my mind, as far as I'm concerned the game just started but there's the possibility someone else knows something. I'm just trying to generate discussion.
What, you said you wanted to generate discussion. You're welcome. :P
But really, I have no idea where to start. There hasn't really been any serious game-related discussion yet.

She could just modkill Dana. That would solve that problem.S~V~S wrote:The poll says the results have to be 12 + 13 per choice, not 11 + 14. I hope this does not piss Roxy off.
