Re: Downton Abbey Mafia (Night 1)

Man, another Day 1 lynch. Maybe I should try for a record of a different kind. :haha:

Oh well. Such is mafia life sometimes. :workit:

As for Ika's comments re: Epi, I don't agree with it. And I think the practice of policy voting people for not playing a distinctly town game, regardless of whether that person is actually bad, is itself not a town strategy.
I agree with this. If Dom is doing something that someone feels is suspicious and pointed it out, then I must have missed it. I'll look back later and see if I can find it though.
Somehow I went to post before I finished my thought. Need more coffee still...

That being said, if Dom is indeed bad, then this looks like someone trying to offer a subtle defense of a teammate without providing any legitimate backing to it.

I think I know where I'm putting a placeholder vote for now.

I would love more people's input on my interaction with ika.
I think it is kind of odd that he'll say there are people he's suspicious of, but won't state reasons why.

Of course, I think it's really weird that people get strong ideas of who they want to vote for on Day 0. But that's probably just a difference in mafia cultures.

I would have had the same response because I know on this site it is common to not allow straight up forced LD statements to be used. And honestly I would have had the same reaction as he did.

I have nothing else that jumps out at me yet, kind of early for me really.
Yeah, I'd agree with this sentiment. Epi refusing to make an LD statement says nothing about his alignment.

I also want to know who made ika the mafia expert? Because to me, it seems like bad form to want to just lynch someone for playing the same or a similar style in every game regardless of alignment.

If he really thinks Epi is bad, I want to hear from him if there is something other than refusing to make an LD statement that makes him want to lynch Epi.....on Day 0?

jsut played scum with him. he said he does it to subvert meta and if thats the case i wil most likely try to lynch him all the time cus again, its not town play to nerf yourself to be itentical. its borderline griefing IMO
You're going to be lynching him a lot as a civ then. I've learned through experience that's not a very good way to figure out what side of the fence Epig is on.

True. I thought a long time ago that the Animal Sanctuary Squad was supposed to stick together, but I guess I was wrong. :( :P

I'm trying to think of a really good childhood memory, but I'm also really tired. I'll do one tomorrow.

Is this the part where we spend the following 3 days debating if you're a baddie because you don't want to follow this strategy? :P
