Was a crazy day. Annie and I were headed back home but we got a flat tire so it took longer to get home than expected. Also, less than a half hour after we got our flat, I received a call from ticketmaster saying my concert was rescheduled for April 18th, lol, so I will have some time here, but I need to catch up first.
Also, I found out my score on Regulation and I passed with an 82!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, I didn't bother coming back and defending mostly because the last few days irl have been fairly hectic. Oh well. Long live the Horde!
At least now I can hop on over to the zombie bar.

Oh, and I'm picking halberd here. I went and looked at the stats for each of these weapons in the Gladiators section which Robert happens to run as well, and it seems to be the most powerful weapon. I get the feeling he's going to use the same dice/stats here as he does on that board.

Re: [Night 4] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Whoa. It appears I managed to survive a lynch attempt.
Except it looks like it might be at the expense of BF, who I'm pretty sure is civvie...
And before anyone asks, no, I don't know how I survived this lynch. Although apparently anything I say is moot at this point, since I'd be surprised if anyone actually believes me.
And I kept forgetting about this (even with multiple people asking me), but I picked Ice Mountains with my Stridor info. The only thing worth mentioning about it is that apparently the Kulataks mine Eternium there. And Eternium is the strongest metal apparently in the MOTU universe, because it says anyone who wore a suit of armor made of the stuff would be nigh invincible.

Re: [Day 4] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Going with DH as a self-preservation vote. I was hoping I could have been around more today, but at this point I'm going to have to go ahead and vote. Haven't had time to catch up any today either unfortunately, meaning haven't had a chance to defend myself any further.
At this point I have to put my hope in the thoughts that a fellow civvie has seen past some of my mistakes for what they really are, and is willing to give me a second chance. Because otherwise, I don't see how I survive this lynch at this rate.
So if there is that kind-hearted civvie out there somewhere, I am begging you to go back, re-read what I said, and find it in yourself to spare me. Even if it is for just one more day!

Re: [Day 4] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Alright. Here's some people I would be willing to consider looking at for lynching today.
DP: Normally, when he is civvie, it takes him a few days to get going. But once he starts to pick up on certain ideas, he tends to run with them. Any game where he is this quiet tends to concern me greatly. So I highly doubt he is a civvie.
He-Man: He seems to be have been all over the map with a lot of people this game (and here I thought I was the one who was doing that :P) Go back and re-read the back and forth between him and >Spaghetti. That to me is not the mark of someone who is a civvie.
DH: Given the extra info that's been uncovered on the Slime Pit, it sounds like DH might be compromised. We may have to get rid of him if he's really just become another tool of The Horde.
Dom: He's spent a good amount of time going after Snow Dog for pulling the "I'm still new to mafia" card. But I really don't remember him saying anything else of value. Might be worth to read up on him sometime tomorrow before I vote.
In no particular order, those are probably my top 4 candidates for tomorrow.
Linki @ MP: I have not been backpedaling this entire game. I said I have changed my opinions on certain people based on new evidence that comes to light. If you want to call that backpedaling, then that is your decision.
I also gave my reason for voting Kate. Did you miss it?

Well aren't you just a damn hipster? :PMovingPictures07 wrote:
Are you serious? I've said I've been reading you as bad for quite a long time now, way before it was cool and LT decided to. Lol.
You're flip flopping because you don't actually care as long as someone other than you or whoever is on your team survives. It's different than someone sincerely trying his or her best to flesh our baddies. You've flipped on LT, tried to buddy up to me, and you've even flip flopped on other things such as timmer. A civvie BWT wouldn't be posting the way you have. Not at all. If you really need more examples, I am planning on looking through your posts tonight since I have a bit of time.
Also, the bolded seems like a confession of baddie guilt to me.
My opinion has changed on certain people throughout this game, yes. LT and Timmer included (and didn't you end up changing your feelings on timmer at one point as well?). I'm sorry if you perceive that as flip-flopping, but I do not.
A civvie BWT would keep fighting until the very end, whereas a baddie BWT would have given up well before this stage. Until a day post comes along that says I've actually been lynched, I will continue to fight for my life.
Give me a moment, and I'll come back with a few names and reasons of people I find suspicious.

You're going down this route too?MovingPictures07 wrote:It seems pretty evident to me what both LT and BWT's alliances are. BWT's responses trying to paint LT as bad or her vote as Skeletorified, as well as his flip floppyness that strikes me as insincere, and his buddying up to me (like Daisy did) only confirm to me that there is no way BWT is civvie this game. I would be very surprised if he flipped civvie at this point, especially as he has been off the mark for much of the game. I think he would be an excellent lynch candidate today.
~Le snip~
Linki with LT: These are more great examples, thanks for providing these. There is a distinct difference between sinister and sincere 'flip flopping', if you will, and these only confirm further that BWT stinks of baddie. I was hoping I could re-read his posts and a few others' (as well as some or all of the thread) myself but naturally have not yet had time to. This weekend will be full of studying and continuing to play catch up (partially because work is busier all of a sudden), but I hopefully will be able to find and highlight some fishiness from any other players as well.
The first part, I really don't know what else you expect me to counter with right now. I've already said my bit on that, so unless there are additional points you wish to make, then I'm done for now.
As to the second part, how is it that what I'm doing is sinister 'flip flopping' vs. sincere 'flip flopping'? Could you clarify your reasoning on that a bit?
Did I have an initial opinion of LT? Yes. Did I change my mind on LT several times through this game so far? Yes. Could some people interpret this as flip-flopping? I could understand that, sure. Would some people even desire to vote for me and/or see me lynched because of it? It wouldn't surprise me.
Yes, I might have dug myself into a corner. But I'm not going to let people sit there and make insinuations off things I never said or try to sit there and twist my words against me.

Re: [Day 4] Masters of the Universe Mafia
I'm still waiting for an answer to my question: Why did you not bring this up at all during Day 2? You had ample time to do so then, which is why I think you're vote is honestly being manipulated by Skeletor right now.LittleTiger wrote:Here is more confusion:
here BWT seems alarmed that I was getting votes of trust during the Shield vote, tries to couch "baddie" btsc - then backtracks in the same post with a linki after seeing FH's post and claims he leans more civvie for me.
I said "idk if it's civvie or baddie" BTSC and that all the votes for you were "making me a bit nervous". That doesn't necessarily mean that you were automatically. I mentioned it was one of the possibilities, certainly, but there's other reasons besides you just being bad.
here he again thinks he was wrong on his initial pings and leans civvie for me. Again, this is after MP says that he would be eyeing those who were trying to paint the votes I was getting as "baddie" moves.
Idk. I still see that as me clarifying why I was looking in your direction. But at the same time, I felt I was starting to misread my....emotional interpretations of you (for lack of a better term).
here we have a bit more covering the bases "didn't say LT was baddie" and cuddling up to MP.
I still, even up to that point, did not say anything that directly correlates to me calling you out as bad. I have suggested that you have pinged me at times, that you could have BTSC (either civvie or baddie), but I have NOT said you were bad.
So, now that we have established that BWT thinks I am a civvie, it perplexes me that he is now pulling out the "she's a baddie" card.

Re: [Day 4] Masters of the Universe Mafia
I feel like you're being a bit more aggressive than you normally are, which I associate with your "overly-emotional/frustrated" side, which is when I tend to read you as a baddie.LittleTiger wrote:Again, what about my posts accusing MP were "defensive"? I was the aggressor, not the defendee. So, how could I possibly be in "defensive" mode? It seemed odd to me then and still does. I do believe that I am correct in that you were looking for a place to hide your baddie vote.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Thanks for this, LT. >>>>>>snip<<<<<
As I said, I definitely found you being "defensive", but perhaps "over-defensive" was a big strong in terms of word choice, so I apologize for that. I am curious though as to why you didn't bother to bring this up any during Day 2. Is there a reason why?
Like I said, I thought you were very forceful in terms of how you kept asking MP why we shouldn't look at the non-voters on Day 1. I'm sorry, but I don't know how to make it any clearer than I already have.
Not really. Is there a reason you're completely ignoring the reason I voted for BF in all of this? Because regardless of whether or not you believe it, it is connected into all of this.
I think that you missed a possibilitybirdwithteeth11 wrote:In conclusion, I think this means there are 1 of 2 possibilities with you right now:
1) You are bad, and you are trying to frame me as bad because of my choice of words, and twisting my words against me while ignoring other important things I have said.
2) You are being forced by Skeletor to vote for me. So you went and started trying to build a case against me.Neither of those you posit are correct.
Not really. Those are just the two that strike me as the only possibilities.
And here you go again. What EXACTLY about my current accusation of YOU is "overly-emotional" and "frustrated"? I think I am being quite cool, calm and collected. You, on the other hand, are sounding like a baddie trying to turn the tables.birdwithteeth11 wrote:If you have any other quotes or aspects of the game you would like me to address, feel free to do so and I will get to them at some point. Also, you still haven't answered my question of why you didn't bring this up on Day 2 when it was still much more fresh and you weren't silenced. I am awaiting an answer to that one.
Why would I go after somebody for something that happened in a previous game? Historical events such as that don't have any bearing on current or future games. Players can change their strategies from game to game.Dom wrote:BWT also might've said something about LT being overly defensive because that's just the reason that she was suspected in Avant Garde 2.... and she was bad. So maybe he was just jumping on something hoping it'd stick?
Linki: I will try to address those other links before I leave for work. But it might not end up being until later this evening.

@LT: I must be a durr-durr head or I'm skipping over it in my re-reading, but would you mind pulling up the quote between you and MP that you were referring to in your previous post?
No, I remember what I said way back when. I just couldn't find it. As it turns out, I didn't go back far enough because I thought it happened more recently than it did.
Lets review, shall we? Sorry you were not able to find your own posts....and thus mine that you claimed were me being "over defensive":
Here is my first post mentioning my ping regarding MP.
I can understand not wanting the non-voters looked at on Day 1. I think most of the non-voters that early are civvies. If they were baddies, they would be getting more pressure from their teammates to start participating. In fact, you say right there that after his explanation of it, you agree with him.
Here is MP's response to my post accepting his explanation for his thoughts, and then also is my response to his continuing to defend even though I had accepted his explanation.
Nothing I don't disagree with you there. I do think MP can get a bit overly-aggressive at times, but I think that's just his playing style.
Here is where MP accused ME of being in defensive mode, which really had me scratching my head since I was not "defending" anything, I was accusing.
Yes, you were accusing him there of trying to take focus off the non-voters. He gave his reasons for wanting to stick away from that, and you said you accepted his explanation. Then you come back later and say you are suspicious of him because he keeps "hammering this thing home" all because you keep asking him about it? I don't get it. To me, it really sounds like you are twisting his words.
Here is my calm response to that.
In retrospect, some of this might appear really obvious on MP's part, since boomslang has since come back baddie. Maybe "overly-defensive" isn't the right choice of words, since I feel your version of "overly-defensive" tends to be emotionally-charged and a lot more negative/virulent. But to me, it still reads as you being defensive.
Here is you calling me "overly-defensive".
See previous response. Again, you don't seem to be getting really emotional or angry yet, but it is still defensive to me.
here, you will find quoted posts where first you state that you had been leaning towards boomslang and LT, but vote BF then when Mp says he found that "pingy" and if you brought LT up, why not he-man... you flip flop and say that you didn't think I was bad. Yet you clearly said you had been leaning towards a vote for me.
I never said I found you bad. I even clarified later on that I never said I found you bad (in one of the posts you quoted from me even, idk how you missed that one). I said I had found you to be ping-worthy. And honestly, most of my Day 1 votes tend to fall on who I feel is the most ping-worthy. I felt BF's reaction was more over-the-top than yours, which is why I ended up voting for him over you. I wouldn't necessarily call that flip-flopping.
here I ask again what it was that was "defensive" about me addressing something I found pingy about MP.
I am still awaiting a response from you on that.
Here is what I think - I think you were a baddie looking for somewhere to stick a vote, specifically, a bandwagon where you could hide your baddie self. You saw an opportunity when MP and I started our little chat - aha! LT is usually a good place to start and MP is calling her "defensive", hops on. Unfortunately, you quickly realized that train wasn't leaving the station so you hopped another one. MP also caught that and when he asked you, you claimed you were not saying I was bad... yet you had already said that you were leaning towards a vote for me.
Not really. Did you bother re-reading any of the conversation between BF and myself? I thought I clarified why I ended up voting for him over you, but apparently not. Might want to pay a bit more attention next time LT.
So, once again, why did you characterize my posts addressed to MP as "over defensive"?
In conclusion, I think this means there are 1 of 2 possibilities with you right now:
1) You are bad, and you are trying to frame me as bad because of my choice of words, and twisting my words against me while ignoring other important things I have said.
2) You are being forced by Skeletor to vote for me. So you went and started trying to build a case against me.
If you have any other quotes or aspects of the game you would like me to address, feel free to do so and I will get to them at some point. But this post reeks much more of your overly-emotional and more frustrated side, which traditionally has read as your baddie game to me.

BWT - I would like you to explain why you thought my post addressing MP and outlining why I felt a bit pinged BY HIM, was me being defensive. I had wanted to bring this up during the last day period, but obviously, was unable to do so due to some nasty spider consumption.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Well now that I've re-read your initial post BF, I agree with what you were saying. I think I was just trying to say the same thing but might have used poor wording. However, this response to Vompatti got my attention:
Honestly, it makes you sound a bit wishy-washy. However, I'm not going to base my vote much on vehicle choices this early on. I think there are more substantial things we could be going off of.blindfaeth wrote:yes, yes i did. the point being my theory thinks its more likely that baddies are in the non-stridor votes, yet I'm voting for the baddie I found in the stridor vote
Two people that have surprised me so far have been boomslang and LT. I know both can sometimes come off as overly defensive, but it really seems to stick out in spades here. If I had to vote now I would lean for one of those two, but more likely Boomslang.
Also, I find that as I read your posts, you are pinging me in a big way.
I won't quote all of the posts on this subject, but you seem to want to waste another lynch on Timmer, when, imo, it is clear that he is not on either baddie team. You also seem a bit flip floppy....birdwithteeth11 wrote:Btw I'm voting for Boardwalk and llama since they were the first two to volunteer for this task.

on you, BWT!
linki: DH! What is wrong?
As for the second part, I said I did NOT want to waste another lynch on Timmer. Go back and re-read my response to llama on that one. My reasoning was that I don't want to keep trying to lynch Timmer day after day because the baddies can use it as an excuse to keep casting votes in that direction. Not to mention it helps to squash discussion of other people.
As for the quote about you from MP, I will find it and pull it up tomorrow to explain my logic behind it. The rest of tonight is being dedicated to my girlfriend.
I left this up for awhile without posting, so I have linki.
Linki: I totally agree that both baddie teams voted to lynch him. His actions looked "baddie" enough that they could gain civvie cred by voting for an easy target. I also do not think he is a Horde member. But as I said before, I think he is most likely an indy.

Re: [Night 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
I was going to pull the quote up, but yeah, that's the main reason. I'm still trying to figure out what happened to DH and what this lynch means.Kate wrote:I know I can't.blindfaeth wrote:BTW I'm not sure I understand why people think Roxy & Kate have a connection is there anyone who can explain this to me please?
She voted for me for the shield, that's all I see. My guess is she saw my civvie game and tried to make herself look civvie by throwing a vote my way.
As for trying to lynch timmer again, I don't think there's any guarantee it will work again. It could take multiple lynch attempts or his role could be unlynchable (which gives the baddies great opportunities to hide in the background and plug away at a target who will survive a whole bunch of lynch attempts). If other people wish to try to lynch him again, then that's fine with me. But my vote will not be going his way. I'm going to be looking at the people who voted DH after MP, especially since it was pretty obvious his vote was forced.

Going to have to vote Kate. I really, REALLY want to pull up quotes and give my reasons for doing so, but this cold's just got me down so much that I don't have the energy physically or mentally to do so. I promise I will go over it tomorrow though.

Sorry everyone! I've been meaning to post more but this cold has been kicking my ass!
I woke up today feeling really groggy and achy so I've been napping off and on. I will post some thoughts in a bit when I start feeling a bit better. Because right now, my mind is very bleh.
And if I don't get a chance to say it again, good luck tomorrow Alex! I know you'll do well!
Also welcome un-tamed!

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
MP and llama, would you believe I'm also getting sick too? Thankfully I think it's just a stupid cold, so the next few days will stink a little bit with it. But nothing too serious.
I just started my re-read of Kate and just finished my re-read of DH. To be honest, I'm not really seeing the DH suspicion much outside of him being extremely quiet in this game. That being said, I could be totally wrong and MP could be on to something. Is there something else that has pinged anyone with him?
Alright. Time to read up again on Kate some.

Re: [Day 3] Masters of the Universe Mafia
I'll be honest, with the night result/lynch occurring the way it did, it really makes me think Timmer is not a baddie anymore. And unfortunately, I feel like that's put me back at square one again. So I will have to do some re-reading on some people tomorrow. I do remember Kate seeming to go along with Roxy once or twice, but I can't remember if that was a consistent thing or not. I will be re-reading her and DH tomorrow for sure.thellama73 wrote:That is a good point. I haven't really given DH a good look, but maybe now I will. I have a few suspicions myself, but I'm not sure I'm ready to go pubic with all of them. One that I will mention is Kate, who has been awfully cuddly with Roxy. I think they were probably Snake Mountain teammates, but it would be preferable to get a Horde member at this point than another SM baddie.MovingPictures07 wrote:You know who's really scaring me? Or you could spend this time expanding a bit more on why you aren't bad. You said you didn't have a lot of time earlier when initial suspicions from myself and others were brought up. But given that it's the weekend and a night phase, I'd think you would be willing to post a bit more other than "I'm not bad."timmer wrote:or maybe I'm not bad, as ive been saying pretty insistently all along, and the baddies see me as a great way to waste another day. I think Russ hit it spot on. Either each item corresponds directly to a team, or each one produces a different effect of some kind when it is eaten.
Did anyone happen to pick the forest btw? I ended up going with the Ice Mountains, and I doubt that location will have any info that is helpful here haha.
I kind of wish I had waited a bit longer and thought about my choices more. Because I'm starting to second-guess myself...

Interesting lynch result. Makes me think that Timmer is most likely a baddie and has some tricks up his sleeve though.
Not sure how I feel about eating a spider since I don't like spiders or a monkey-type of creature since I like monkeys a lot. I've heard snake apparently tastes good to some people and panther sounds intriguing. So I am going with the Crawler and Furlong.

As for potential teammates of Boomslang, I'm looking very heavily at you Timmer. Ehhhhhhh. Not necessarily. They also could have voted earlier too. Baddies that start lynch trains to save a fellow teammate have sometimes started it earlier rather than later.
So for starters, when Boomy voted, he couldn't have seen what was coming. It was:
bf - 4 votes
he-man - 2 votes
boomslang (and 4 others) = 1 vote each
Normally, rey's and FH's votes on bf would represent the obvious "baddie teammates rallying to save Boomslang" votes. However, reading back through their posts, they both had talked about bf previously, and in rey's case frankly a vote for anyone BUT bf would have been pingy. So while they may be Boomslang's teammates and just lucked into to being able to try to help through their own cases, I don't see anything malicious there.
The only malicious thing I see here you you trying to suggest "Hey, they talked about Boom previously and it would have been odd to not vote for him. But they could still be teammates." Somehow I highly doubt that. From re-reading, I think the BF/rey debate was civ on civ at this point.
Really, the only other vote that even remotely stands out is my own on Heman, and if I judge my own game so far from the perspective of a third party, it actually is probably a bit pingworthy. I say this because I can step out of the box and look at my meagre posts so far in the game.
Only you have the ability to change that. However, you haven't since then, and I think you're only doing it now because several people are suspicious of you and you have to play a more defensive game. If you were a civvie, then I would be more likely to believe it if you had started posting more after that lynch. But you really haven't much.
that said, #1 I'm not Boomslangs teammate, #2 those of you who know my playstyle know that if I am going to barrel in and throw down a random vote to help a teammate, especially a vote that will make me look bad, I'm for damn sure going to put that risky vote on the lynch leader. With bf at 4 votes and Heman with 2 at the time, and with me having never commented on either of them before, I'd never try to help by voting for the guy with two. Never.
Yes you would. You and I know very well that that early on in the lynch, with so many more potential votes, you would take that risk of still trying to save a teammate. Now if it had been later on in the lynch, then I could see you throwing a teammate under the bus. Just not that early.
Those of you who play with me a lot know that i enter periods of time where I'm working a ton, and I struggle to post and keep up. i point to the two games I'm in at RM where I also haven't posted a ton lately. i came in on my break, read through as quickly as I could and voted on gut based on the cases of the moment. Hopefully y'all will see that.
Nope. Nice try though.I can understand you being very busy with rl and all the other games, but I think something else is going on here too.

Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel about it right now. I don't think it's enough to make a final verdict on her (or anyone voting for her for that matter), but some of the semi-random or random votes for her do concern me some.DFaraday wrote: Sorry? Shouldn't we always be wary when there's an unexplained rush of votes for one person? Alright. MP and I are going with my brother and one of his friends to a concert tonight, so I probably won't be posting any more until tomorrow morning or afternoon. Might check in briefly some tonight on my phone, but that's about it.
Linki: Votes for LT like rey's on the other hand ring out as more genuine to me because he fleshes out a bit more why he's voting for her other than just "I think she is civvie".
I actually don't know how to feel about MP at this point. I think if he was backpedaling a whole bunch, I would find him to be a baddie. But for the most part, he's continued to be aggressive and while he backed off some with He-Man, I think his explanation was more along the lines of "I had too many blinders on" rather than backpedaling.

I'm not necessarily saying she is a baddie or has baddie BTSC. In fact, I actually said I felt it's more likely she had civvie BTSC. But I'm judging that based on her general attitude so far in this game, which I may have originally misinterpreted when I called her out as being pingy. That was something I noticed on my re-read just now.
The other thing I noticed is that I am on the fence about He-Man. He could certainly be bad, but I always find he tends to do things in every game I play with him that ping me or throw me off at some point. I guess it's Zany Dex for a reason lol. So at most, he is someone to pay attention to, but I don't have a clear read of him yet and might not for some time.

All these LT votes are making me a bit nervous. I would guess it's BTSC of some kind, but idk if it's civvie or baddie.
I said I would vote for someone who struck me as particularly civvie, and honestly, llama seems like the most civvie-minded person so far to me. So llamais getting my vote.
Linki with FH: Yeah, I'm honestly leaning on it being civvie BTSC. Because I can't see a baddie team doing that to her unless they're trying to pin something on her. And as you said, it could bite them in the butt later on depending on what happens to her.

I agree. But like I said, I'm willing to wait around a bit on that one. Since I think it's more likely that baddies will make sure their teammates check in to participate, whereas unless a civvie has BTSC with someone that may not happen right away. Now if we get around to Day 2 or 3 and someone hasn't checked in, then I am willing to look at non-posters.Boomslang wrote:That's a mite reductio ad absurdum of my position, don't you think?blindfaeth wrote:
To be fair, there is a difference between "your theory is logically sound but I don't think it's a good way to look in that direction and here's why:" and "WHY YOU WANNA LOOK AT NON-STRIDOR VOTES BF? HUH?? HUH??!! WHUT IF CIVVIES WANTED TO WIN THE RACE TOO YO?"
Meanwhile, on other reasons to boot people, let us always remember the dreaded "real life" as a reason for inactivity. It's not like I spent my whole day in the lab or anything... But I do agree that failing to defend at all is suspicious.

Re: [Day 1] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Well now that I've re-read your initial post BF, I agree with what you were saying. I think I was just trying to say the same thing but might have used poor wording. However, this response to Vompatti got my attention:
Two people that have surprised me so far have been boomslang and LT. I know both can sometimes come off as overly defensive, but it really seems to stick out in spades here. If I had to vote now I would lean for one of those two, but more likely Boomslang.

Re: [Day 1] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Oooooooooooh nevermind. I re-read what you had said and I must have been confused. So what you're saying is that since the baddie teams probably only had 1 person pick the Stridor, then that means we should pay more attention to the non-baddie voters? Help me out here if I'm reading what you said wrong. I've been up since 6:30 this morning and haven't had a nap so I might be a bit out of it lol.birdwithteeth11 wrote:I was just giving my two cents on the matter. Re: [Day 1] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Nice post! I'm glad to see the game has started off as interesting as it did.
Not sure how I feel about non-posters/non-voters at this point. I tend to prefer giving people a little bit of time to know the game has started and catch up. And really, the only time I find it odd is if someone says they are going to post/vote later and don't with no explanation. Plus non-voters and non-posters early on tend to be civvies mostly, since the baddies will do more to alert their teammates that the game has started and get them to participate.
Yeah, I'm thinking both baddie teams has 1 person pick the Stridor role so they could get the info. However, 2 out of 9 people are not very good odds. I say it's something we should keep in the back of our minds for now. If one of those 9 people starts behaving in a manner that we find odd, then it might be good to go back and look at that info.
Also glad to see that so many people are already leading the charge in discussing and throwing out ideas so early on Day 1! It's much more refreshing than seeing a bunch of confused people who end up randomizing at the end of it.
I should be here for most of the evening, so I will keep in touch.

Re: [Prologue] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Yeah, that information is just too tempting for me to pass up. I think I'm going with Stridor as well.

Re: [Prologue] Masters of the Universe Mafia
Great opening post, Robert! I'm already sucked into the game.
I was going to do it the mathematical way, but MP and llama already beat me to it. Way to be the fun suckers! :P
Honestly, I think Wind, Attak, and Strider are the best possible options. The only thing that concerns me with Wind is the possibility of rolling several zeroes for multiple days. So I will probably pick between Attak and Strider. I'll be voting sometime later tonight.
Robert, how many spaces total is the journey?
