I'm so sorry everyone! I was at a concert last night with my gf, MP, and SpaceDaisy, so I didn't get home late. And I worked at 8 EST this morning, so I completely forgot to check in late last night or early this morning, hence why I missed the vote. I knew being in 2 games right now was too much for me.

I'm HOPING I can finally get caught up in this game tonight and get some semblance of what in the world is going on. Because right now all I've really done is skimmed the day post.

I for one would be glad of more of a contribution from you. I also am not sure of a Kate lynch. Unless she is playing a really ballsy baddie game.

I don't see Kate being the kind of person who would do that honestly. I know Roxy said she has seen it happen once, but I agree with SVS. I think it's a case of Zombie/Shinny Syndrome lol poor Shinny, so that's why I think it is very unlikely she is bad. Plus if she was bad, made such a big case on Nev, and he gets lynched and flips civ, she knows she's the next one out the door.

So yeah, unless she's fooled me, I don't see how she could be a baddie. In which case I will probably never trust her again.

Apparently Lucy thinks I don't stick around enough? Alright. The good thing is that today, I will be here for the rest of the morning and a good chunk of the afternoon. So that thankfully won't be an issue for now.

Was hoping Teeth would see this and answer for it but instead he posts that he is sorry he voted early and was catching up and would post then didn't so I hope he can find some time today to respond. I think I will be putting a vote on him.

I gave you an actual reason for my vote. Not my fault if you don't think it's a very good one. But honestly, with how busy I've been with rl/work stuff lately, most of my mafia time has gone to boo's RM game, so I feel like I haven't been able to put enough time into this game. I'm going to try and catch up tonight though so hopefully I'll have a better idea of where I want to go from here.

The reason I voted so early was because I thought it was a standard 24-hour poll. I mentioned that already. Had I realized the poll went longer, I would have obviously waited longer to make a more informed decision. Also, I was suspicious of BF, and wanted to put a vote on him in case he was recruited and had the ability to kill tonight. So I wanted to protect against that, but I didn't feel he was necessarily the best person to lynch today. Does that clarify my reasoning any for you?

I think tonight and tomorrow morning, I'm going to spend my time re-reading some people. I'm starting to think we are being misled by someone.

Alright. I have to vote immediately. I'm willing to put a vote on BF right now, regardless of all my doubts about him. However, I do not think he is the person we necessarily need to lynch. Just keeping an eye on him for now. Sorry if I'm wrong about you!

True. I definitely would agree that Bob would have probably been more than willing to go along with the plan we had.

And honestly, the more I think about it, I'm starting to wonder if the plan we had for Day 1 was really a good idea. While we certainly got a good result out of it, I think most of it could be attributed to chance. I'm fine with the current plans of leaving a few people without votes to narrow it down, as long as some of the people we leave without votes are people we are genuinely suspicious of. Otherwise this strategy seems like a moot point. Plus idk if it's a strategy we can run with forever. Eventually, and very soon before Bob starts getting a lot more recruits, we're probably going to have to consider running one or two of these lynches like normal lynches. Otherwise we're giving the baddies an excuse to hide in the shadows.

Sorry everyone! I've been fairly busy lately with rl stuff and boo's game on RM. Speaking of rl stuff, I have an interview on Friday morning for a management position with my company, so I'm really excited about that!

I'm going to finish catching up on boo's game as well, and then I will post my thoughts right now.

That makes me think he was more of a true indy than civvie or baddie oriented. In that case, I'm okay with this result. Could have been better, but could have been worse.

I went to bed last night thinking on it, and in reality I think this was a bad plan. In a situation like this, I think we should have left at least a few people without votes. I think that's something we're going to have to consider doing every day in order to narrow down who Bob's recruits are. Because if we just keep voting for every single person then it will lead to endless random/manipulated lynches.

I know it's risky, but I don't see a better plan right now.

And with that, I need to get to bed. For those of you who would be interested, Victor Wooten was even more amazing than both times I've seen him with the Flecktones. Of course, being at most a foot away from the man definitely helps. You missed out big time, Alex!

I think it's certainly possible a black role could be in play. But I haven't seen any evidence yet that says they are or aren't.

Going to go ahead and vote for SVS. Hopefully if you're a civvie then it's no harm, no foul!

I agree. I'm perfectly fine with voting for the person above ourselves for today. However, starting Day 2 we will definitely need a new strategy. I think how this lynch goes down could give us some good info though, especially depending on who it gets directed to.

EBWOP: I was thinking that as well, Kate. But I'm thinking it will be an everyday occurrence TBH.

I think this is the first time I've ever played mafia and seen a Night 0. So not entirely sure what that means yet.

I'm going to have to trust Kate's advice on this one, since she has seen the show and I haven't. Leland Palmer it is.

As for the 12 players, 24 roles thing, I think it is very likely that each of us could wind up with 2 roles later on. But then again I'm not entirely sure. Hardly any bit of this game has sunk in yet, but I'm also playing boo's Video Game mafia over on RM, and that one is incredibly complex as well. So I guess some of the mechanics and roles might take a little bit to sink in for me. After that I should have a bit more to contribute.

I guess Bob starts out as the only mafia member. Makes sense to me, since there's not much else to go on in terms of alignment descriptions.

I definitely don't want a whorehouse or a bar, so the last two options are out. I'm not terribly hungry right now, and too many horror movies tell me that a hotel is a really bad idea. So I think I will be going with the high school as well.
