Ultimately, Epig was right. Me targeting rey for that kill was the safest bet, since I was a vanilla baddie and we wouldn't lose our lynch/vote manipulation powers if something happened to me.

Seriously though, outside of Electronic Mafia, I think that was the best BTSC I've ever had. It's a shame I didn't get to spend any time with chaindeath or bea.

As for the lynch results, Epig gets the most votes, but DP gets put up for the lynch. However, he doesn't get lynched, and instead SVS and rabbit do instead. What the flying fuck? I'm thinking there has to be either vote manipulation or lynch switches in play. Or possibly both. Idk what else it could be other than avant madness.

I think each of the remaining portals can be tied to a baddie team. I'm not going to say which because I don't want to give them any ideas though. That's why all 3 of them make me feel uneasy. It has nothing to do with not trusting you or thinking you have info.

Seriously though, outside of SVS, rey, and dom I've felt a bit off about everyone in this game at some point. I would say those are the top 3 people I trust and likely one of those 3 will be getting my vote.

Also I am going with our wonderful host to a concert tonight in Columbus (thankfully only about a 2 hour drive) so I may be able to respond once or twice tonight, but if it's a lengthy response that probably won't come until tomorrow morning. Just giving you all the heads up.

I dunno. I mean, I'm willing to consider the possibility that Epig could be Herman, but I'm also willing to consider possibilities such as roles being blocked. Not sure.

Like I said though, I think everyone on his list deserves to be looked at and re-read to some degree. I think that's the best way to narrow it down from people who aren't Herman.

And FH, the last, "well, um, maybe gonna vote for chaindeath" did it for me, and the fact that you did not mention bea at all until you voted with her~ and we all have dropped early votes on teammates for cred, and I don;t see 6th out of nine as early, especially when the 9th vote was the guy saving himself. I think you are bad. I wanted to vote for you last time, but I was worried about the votes piling up on DH.

Posting all kinds of analyses and using them to point out what you would or would not do is supposition and WIFOM. I have pretty much seen everything you are saying you would not, or did not do, based on interpretative data, done in a game.

That's pretty much why I'm considering a vote for FH today. I was willing to forgive her for the "green vs. purple" book debate, but I said I would keep an eye on her. After considering a vote for chaindeath though, I'm really starting to think there's a strong possibility that she is a baddie.

However, I'm going to go read up on the other people who said they were considering votes for chaindeath or actually did vote for him (outside of myself of course), and see if I can catch anything in there that would make me reconsider.

I'm going with DFarady. I feel like he contributed a bit more than Devin had, so I'm hoping he is a bit more active if we bring him back. I honestly feel uncomfortable picking anyone else right now, and like Kate and DH, I'd really rather not bring anyone back. But I figure the two people who got killed off on Night 1 are worthy of another chance to play.

Vote manipulation is what I'm leaning toward. And most likely it is a secret. I remember in Electronic Mafia, I was on the indy team (with trice and DP, and we recruited SVS, so it was one of the best teams ever :P) and one of us, can't remember which, had the ability to curse people with negative votes. So it wouldn't surprise me if there is something in play like that here.

I'm not necessarily saying that IS the case, but it's the first thing my mind jumped to for historical reasons, so...

As for who I wish to rezz, I'm thinking either DFarady, Devin, or chaindeath. Chain because he pinged me the least of all those people, and the other two because while they might not be civvies, I'm all for giving people who died on Night 1 another chance to play.

Oh yeah. I also forgot about The Truth and Boats. The Truth definitely seems like he could be one of Trice's teammates and Boats really seems like he's just going along with the flow, which almost always bothers me.

So basically, I have about 25 minutes to decide which of those 4 I'm voting for.........fuck.

God, there's been so much discussion today that it's been hard to wrap my head around it all. I was leaning toward FH for the longest time, but I'm willing to let that one slide for now, because her book explanation seems genuine to me (for the most part). Right now I'm leaning toward either CBK/Timmer or DH. DH is starting to lose me and I feel like he's all over the map with his suspicions. And from re-reading CBK, I think there's a really good possibility that she was trying to save bea, and Timmer hasn't done much to clear that up for me yet.

I feel fairly comfortable voting for either one really, but the question is which one?...

Sorry I didn't get back about this yesterday! My girlfriend came over after I got off work last night so I ended up not bothering to post until today.

As for the whole prizes thing, it was honestly a mix-up. MP is right, I won the book from the posting challenge. My reward from the poker challenge was actually the -1 vote I start off with at the beginning of a lynch (DH and rey finished in the top 3 as well and as you all can see, they got the same reward). The musician check one-time ability came from the posting challenge on Day 2, when I was the first to say the secret word of 'coffee'. I think because I won prizes from 2 different posting challenges and the fact that I should have paid more attention to what the rest of the PMs said was why I got confused and posted me winning the book from the wrong source.

Will some people be suspicious of me because of the mix-up? Certainly. Will some of you believe it was an honest mistake on my part? Absolutely. I would expect that to happen. However, I would have a hard time understanding why it's a justified reason to vote for me without some further explanation.

But regardless of what any of you believe, I'm really sorry for the confusion!

Actually, given that Zappa can switch allegiances, I can understand why she would choose to make such info public. Technically, it helps the civvie cause more to know that Zappa could turn on them (or be killed in the process) and turn traitor. I guess my main confusion was over her making the mistake of reading from the green book instead of the purple book.

@FH: I won a musician alignment check I could use for one night. So basically, I inherited Zappa's power for one night.

And yeah, if you had both green and purple, what was your reasoning for choosing green over purple? I at least figured the red book had something to do with the indy roles, so I'm sure you could have figured it out based on the book colors.

Well I finished 3rd in the poker tournament, and my prize for it was the Red Book. Every night I'm allowed to decide if I wish to read from it. If I do, I either read at a slow (which is 1 chapter), medium (2 chapters), or fast (3 chapters) pace. The first night I used it (Night 3), apparently I read at a fast pace. Did I know it was going to reveal role secrets? Absolutely not. However, it seems like it could be useful. Not to mention in most of MP's games, he usually starts allowing for opportunities for secrets to be revealed. And we're far enough into the game that I'm not surprised it is happening.

As for why there is not purple, my original guess was that somebody on Ziltoid's team won a book and chose not to use or it got roleblocked and it prevented them from reading it. But if you go look at the roles right now, you will see that is not the case.

The Vomps one I felt genuinely suspicious about. He was posting a lot of things that did not appear civvie-like to me (to the point where it's still hard to believe he was a civvie). As for Droopy, I could have stuck with Vompatti, but as I mentioned, 1) I had to leave for work shortly after, so that cut into my time to sit an analyze the entire situation and 2) I had legitimate reasons to feel more strongly about Droopy at that point.
