Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
At the Flash Museum I picked up The Rival's Speed Force Formula. It allowed me 5 extra square moves to use whenever I wished. I had only used one extra move so you could have had 4 LC.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 12)
Sorry to you as well DH.
In all of the games I have played recently I have played very poorly. Idk that I was ever that great but lately i do feel as if i have been worse than usual. It is funny how much rl affects my game play - so much so that it is ridiculous.

But I didn't realize at first just how narrow a claim that really was, and thus by the time a few OR were dead, it amounted to apseido role claim. Worst result possible!
Llama lynch me if you would like - but you given no reason nor did you bother to respond to me.
You said you would be looking at your voters but you have done nothing to help. Since you are a confirmed civ you need to take more of a leadership role. Stop the nonsense and actually try.
I am not going to become your next bullzeye (see what I did there?) I wil no longer defend if you all want to lynch me just do it. but a reason would be good.

I will attest to this.AceofSpaces wrote:I'm pretty sure our host has told us not to discuss our exact map positions. If you are asking if I caused this repeat day, I did not. I think if you look back, you'll see my frustration with the situation. If I knew there was a event like this coming up, I would have shown a bit more indifference to the vote.Bass_the_Clever wrote:Were you by the flash museum?AceofSpaces wrote:I'm caught up now.
LongCon, SD had the most votes when the poll closed. Ignoring any vote manipulations, she should have been the one lynched. I don't know why I was the one in the lynch post. Flavor text, possibly?
I haven't figured out my vote yet.
If Aces had known something was happening I do not think he would have said/acted the way he was in chat.

LC - what more would you like me to say about Aces and me? I said everything yesterday. I know you asked me to say who it was eaarly on but no way I was going to do it without giving him a fair chance in bts - he was very sincere and what he said made sense. I feel if I had said something earlier a lot of people would have used my post as a reason for their vote -so I waited - I really felt I saved Aces and he was worth it.
But yeah I was so busy defending I did not take notice of the poll votes

As for Soneji and Ika

That's an interesting take DH.DharmaHelper wrote:Rox (and anyone else), I saved this point for a different post:
My suspicion of Made stems from his inactivity (which I am against, and on record for being so), and from a hunch/theory of mine that I wanted to post in a separate post to allow for discussion:
There are 3 factions that should, logically, have a kill. (Detectives, Grodd, and New Rogues). We have only seen the Grodd and Detective kills. Epi's kill was with a Captain Cold-like weapon, which given the map, the secrets, etc, could mean anything. So it is possible that Made is responsible for the 3rd (New Rogue) kill and has missed his window.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 3?)
Been reading DH this morning -
You first help lead the lynch against llama. (which in a sense llama brought on himself but that's just one girls opinion). You thought llama should have been pointing out fallacies you thought existed Day 0 and llama did not bc he was too busy putting down The Flash and talking about monkeys.
When fingersplints tried to tell you this was normal for him you shut her down post haste.
It was after this that he went after SVS putting the blame of the llama lynch directly at her feet (which I disagree with 100%)
I think SVS is right to have pointed the finger at you.
You voted Bass - latching on to a pre-built case. and adding that Bass reminded you of the Death Note game where Bass was bad.
Then you try to take full claim of the Bass lynch - it seemed important to you that people thought it was your doing:
Now you go back to pressing SVS for lynch bc she "jumped down your throat" for your Bass vote - which she did not btw.
I find it odd that when you could not get one case to stick to SVS you went ahead and made another case against her - why do you need SVS dead this game?
Now you mention you would vote for Made out of the clear blue sky just bc he has not been around - why? You have been making cases on SVS now you move on to someone who is not even been playing or posting or even voting - do you think it will be easier to lynch a non player than to lynch SVS?
You are suspicious of me for not coming out sooner about Aces but I notice you did not say anything to help him either. Don't play that song to me DH.

DharmaHelper wrote:I don't think he's a civvie. I don't like his whole Day 0 schtick, it got annoying very quickly. Also, I noticed he didn't berate anyone for any logical fallacies throughout the entire duration of Day 0. People were jumping to conclusions all over the place and Llama did not voice any opposition to it.
If you thought there were fallacies then why didn't YOU jump in and "beat the shit out of the speculation"?DharmaHelper wrote:Mostly the speculation on the meaning of the letters, like the above. I expected llama to jump in and beat the shit out of the speculation like it owed him money. He didn't. That's suspect.
When fingersplints tried to tell you this was normal for him you shut her down post haste.
Now she is dead.DharmaHelper wrote:I suppose I disagree.fingersplints wrote:I thought my point was pretty clear. He seems to be drawing a lot of attention to himself. I think he would be less likely to do so if he had btsc or potential btsc partners to worry about. Because it isn't in full swing yet doesn't mean that all those with the potential to gain btsc won't worry about their partners.DharmaHelper wrote:What's your point here? As far as I'm aware BTSC is not in full swing across the board quite yet.llama seems crazy even for him. My only thoughts about that is he would probably be less likely to be this out there if he had bts and someone else to consider.
It was after this that he went after SVS putting the blame of the llama lynch directly at her feet (which I disagree with 100%)
DharmaHelper wrote:IIRC SVS lead the "Hey this looks awfully like Llamas civvie game from this one time" train.Metalmarsh89 wrote:@ Long Con. Well then let's hope there is a rezz for him this time around too.
I do recall the situation in that game. Actually, I don't think anyone would have drawn any comparisons if llama hadn't specifically said that he wanted to be King of the Morlocks again. In hindsight, it seems clear that he was just being funny.
You did deserve this finger-pointing imhoDharmaHelper wrote:If there doesn't need to be finger pointing, why did you just point the finger back at me rather defensively, if I don't deserve it, according to you?S~V~S wrote:S~V~S wrote:Was Llama good or bad in the Morlock game? History shows again and again how nature points out the folly of man.
This was how the Llama/X Men thing started, DH. Not exactly "leading a train". YOU started that train, iirc. After this I made two posts where I was wishy washy. Like how Llama does this to amuse himself when he has no BTS, which does not mean much in this game. Personally he looked exactly like he did in that game to me. But it is possible as well that he was doing it on purpose as some thought, which is pretty much all I said about the situation.
Don;t be blaming me for this one, the five people who voted him at the end, when Epi was clearly in the lead, are where the fingers should be pointing (not even at you, tbh). If finger pointing needs to be done.
I think SVS is right to have pointed the finger at you.
You voted Bass - latching on to a pre-built case. and adding that Bass reminded you of the Death Note game where Bass was bad.
Then you try to take full claim of the Bass lynch - it seemed important to you that people thought it was your doing:
Huh. Guess that hunch of mine paid off.
Still trying to get SVS lynched. If it were me, I'd go back and look at SVS and FZ since they both practically jumped down my throat after I voted Bass.
To be fair, I'm hardly responsible for the Bass lynch being a success. I was just personally correct, which is an achievement for myself. Several others seemed to think he was bad.
Tbf you do say that several others seen Bass was bad but you still point out - AGAIN - that your were right.Oh so Timmer can brag and take all the credit but I can't I see how it is.
Now you go back to pressing SVS for lynch bc she "jumped down your throat" for your Bass vote - which she did not btw.

No that is not what I said. I said why would you draw so much attention to yourself when you had such an important role. I said nothing about you doing it as mafia, your reasoning here is not making sense with what I actually posted.thellama73 wrote:Well, since I will probably by night killed tomorrow, I might as well go for broke today. I actually said you were par for the course during everyones rush to lynch you the first time bc of your need to draw attention to yourself:
so instead of looking at someone who said you were "par for the course" you should look at your voters imo-Roxy wrote:Llama - weird wonderful llamaman. Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 3?)
I am glad neither got lynched. I feel better about Aces and neutral feeling on Daisy.
Welcome llama I am sure we all will look forward to your fresh take on things.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 3)
I am voting Timmer.
for things I have already said.
1. Defending Epi's gambit of lynching Elo bc she is not an Old Rogue or does not have BTSC.
2. Said Epi's play was sketchy or baddie like and that he could understand the suspicion on him.
3. Pushing his suspicion of me while I was silenced getting everyone on board before I can speak.
4. His general play this game. Pushy and slick.

Timmer Because I was trying to give Ace a chance to show up and chat. If I would have said anything sooner everyone would have voted him using my reasoning which I was not even sure about.

It was Aces he seems sincere in chat so I am wavering about him.S~V~S wrote:Did we ever find out who the Map Chat partner is?
I honestly forgot about my fake silences TH. so there you are right on that point. But you are wrong in thinking I am bad. I am not bad just a bad mafia player.

I hope you understand now so we do not have to go through this again
I thought you were bad the minute you called me out for something you later said yourself about Epi. This is why I actually think you silenced me in hopes that I would not get a chance to tell everyone you are bad.

I would reiterate what i said earlier about you -
Roxy wrote:Bye splints this game is much more boring without ye!
I need to catch up again but I am still very suspicious of Epi and now Timmer bc he was sspicious of my Epi suspicion but then showed how Epi could be bad with bad intentions in his pursuit of an Elo lynch. I do get how he is defending someone who wanted his role dead.
If anyone has anything they would like me to answer post your questions now while I am around.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 3)
Iff you are such an expert at my mafia style then you would no I LOATHE silencing roles and would never have used it on anyone especially myself.timmer wrote:Tell me one more time, Roxy. What is your opinion of Aces? And how are things going with the person you are in BTSC with?
you need to catch up, Roxy. The reason I had, which I mentioned previously, for thinking you were indy because the only role that could silence on odds nights, going by tildes, was an indy. And I've proven that Murmur's role, the only one that directly says he silences people, had previously said EVEN nights, which gave you an out. Only it's been corrected to ODD nights. You were silenced on an odd night. You needed to be found by the SAME person Bass 1.0 needed to be found by, and you both used your powers on yourselves as a shout out.
More importantly, to go with that, you've hedged your bets all game, not really committing to any one side, except for Epig early on, which was kind of an easy choice to make.
Now you are saying Epi was an easy choice how many different ways in one day can you find me suspicious? This is so hilarious!
I will not tell you how I feel about Aces just to irk you.

Re: The Flash: Battle for the Gem Cities (Day 3)
slick Timmer makes an appearance ---- hello baddie Timmer!timmer wrote:1. It starts with the same scenario as Bass 1.0. Same exact compiracy theory. The baddies don't start with BTSC. they need to be found. Bass 1.0 did it by cursing himself. I think Roxy did it by silencing herself.blindfaeth wrote:Timmer, can you spell it out for me like I'm stupid, why that changes your perception of roxy? Does it mean she led about being silenced?
2. She has only once come on strong in this game, going after Epig, an easy target early on with his Eloh suspicion.
3. the entire rest of the game she has hedged her bets. Read through her posts.
4. I don't buy this whole "I've only had btsc in mapchat with 1 person, I'll name the, no I won't, they just showed up, give me time" business. She's watching the clock.
5. She refused to offer an opinion on Aces. Again, watching the clock tick down, hedging her bets.
Roxy is bad, and likely so is Aces.
I am calling bullshit!
I hope when you get your wish and I am lynched that people will wake the f up and lynch you. Your constant pushing of people in this game is so unreal. If they do not vote or say what you want them to say then they are bad and that my friend is deffo NOT civ behavior!
