The eight people who voted for Rico, give or take a misguided DrWilgy, are just going to continually vote for non-primes, both inactive and active.
If you want to, y'know, win the game, I'd focus on trying to get rid of them by any means necessary.

it'd be swell if the people who voted for JOH tried to kill the ones who voted for Rico.
Because I'd be willing to bet quite a lot that they'll be trying to kill you.

Oh boy.Long Con wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2017 10:36 pmI don't understand what you mean. Rico named 13 players as Primes or Prime Allies. He wants to lynch/kill them all. He's been pretty blatant about that. What is the misrepresentation?insertnamehere wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2017 10:13 pmOK, I know that you know that you and JOH's claims of Rico wanting 13 out of 21 people gone are gross exaggerations, but just for anyone who hasn't read past the BS, here's what actually happened. Rico made a list of 13 people he thought could be Primes, including myself. JOH and LC immediately began misrepresenting it and using it to discredit and lynch Rico.
At this point, all they can do to defend themselves in the thread (aka, not BTSC) is just spew untruths with a smirk on their face and hope that some players *cough*WILGYQUIN*cough* don't care enough to look deeper.
The Primes are not that big of a team anymore, and half the players that I considered Allies are voting for Jack. I get that you guys got butthurt about us trying to have a strategy, but this anti-Prime crap is clearly not about winning the game.
Another round of "I see A, you see B, and we both insist we see the right thing." Fan-fucking-tastic. More running in rhetorical circles.
Rico wants to kill Primes. He made a list of people he thinks are possible Primes or Prime allies. I assume it's a fluid list, and an extremely easy way to get off of it is to help kill Primes. There, voting for JOH is two birds with one stone. Not only do you eliminate the Prime threat, but you also get Rico off your back. Win-win. Unless you're a Prime.
I'm sorry, but I don't consider you to be an impartial source of honesty in reference to the relative strength of the Prime team. Even on Day 1 of Phase 2, where it seems to be every other team against the Primes, you still have the poll tied. That amount of power and influence makes the Primes the clear leaders of the game right now. I think everyone who isn't a Prime would like to be in that power position, therefore, eliminating the Primes directly stands to benefit us.

Would you rather keep someone dedicated to supporting or destroying the Primes?
That's what this lynch comes down to.
If you want to give the Primes another NK on another team, lynch Rico.
If you want to both hurt the Primes and ensure that they can't dominate the game, lynch JOH. Plus, Rico is a large angry target for them to vent their aggression towards.

True. So will every other person in the game that isn't on my team, JOH. Because I'm simply surrounded by enemies, I have to focus on the largest, most dangerous and direct threat to my winning the game. And that's the Primes. Because Rico scares and threatens the Primes, putting heat on them, and taking heat away from me, I want him to stay in the game, at least until the Primes are at a manageable number.Jackofhearts2005 wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2017 10:17 pm INH, true or false: "Rico will attempt to eliminate me, harming my faction and chance of winning, no matter what I do until one of us is dead."

From the Survivor Wiki:
It makes for both boring TV and boring forum games.Pagonging is a fan-made term used to describe a post-merge strategy in which one tribe systematically eliminates members of the rival tribe one at a time. The term was coined in reference to the Tagi Alliance's elimination of all members of the Pagong tribe in Survivor: Borneo.

In all honesty, I haven't been enjoying myself in this game ever since I got fucked over by the bomb twist and completely lost motivation to play for like ten days.Spacedaisy wrote: ↑Thu Nov 09, 2017 10:54 am
Rico has made it pretty clear he is not enjoying not himself since someone killed him.
You're helping the Primes beat the non-Primes. I'm a non-Prime. You're screwing me over. Any attempt to reject what I just said is an elaborate form of denial. I think standing against a massive alliance is as hard if not harder than forming one, and I think Rico's playing as hard as the people you claim to support due to their exceptional game-playing. Yes, Rico can be snotty and annoying about it, but LC and JOH have been snotty and annoying the whole damn game.Additionally, he is out to specifically screw other players which is the opposite of my intention. And just because Rico has a lot of posts doesn't equate to playing damn hard. There are a lot of pointless posts in there and bitching posts recently.
You play the game you can with the role you're given. That role is a fucking dumb broken one because whoever has it can only coast. It's either coast or die, and there's no other avenues of gameplay for that person to go down. You using that as an excuse to vote for him is pretty lazy.He literally was trying to coast to a win with his role. Which I don't fault him for, don't get me wrong.
Here's the rundown. I came to you hoping to start an anti-Prime alliance. You declined, but offered to help get me onto the Primes. I said "screw it," and died a bunch, but failed to get on that team. But there is nothing hypocritical in my vote for Rico. And you don't have to worry about me INH. I think I should have already proven to you that I feel like you are one of the people who are playing the game worth something.
It's Phase 2 now. Before, nothing was really permanent, and you could afford to dance around and remain sympathetic to both sides, but we're now all stuck on the teams we're stuck on. The only way for me to win is for the primes to lose and vice versa. If you're helping them, you're hurting me. If you truly want to see the people playing the hardest win, you need to stop devoting yourself to the people who formed a clear majority and are now lazily picking off anyone who stands in their way. To me, what the Primes are doing isn't "playing hard." To use a Survivor reference that only Golden would understand if Golden actually decided to play this game, they're Pagonging us.

He and LC, despite there being a strong chance both of them aren't primes, still seem determined to vote and most likely use their NK according to the Prime Directive.
It might be smarter for the non-Primers to pick off members of non-Prime teams that are loyal for whatever reason to the Primes, to limit the number of NK's they ultimately control.

I like how people didn't actually respond to a single word Ricochet said and instead acted annoyed, choosing to disregard it in its entirety because Ricochet was, I guess, too zanily aggressive.
Anywho, Ricochet getting respect or Ricochet getting no respect, the game goes on. I don't want to see him lynched and no one else seems to want to kill Juliets, so some creativity is needed.
Would a JOH counter-wagon to Rico be accepted by DDL, Kyle, Sig, and the other non-primers out there? Cbob already drew first blood, and I'm willing to follow him.

Literally every person who isn't on the Primes, who is sitting and watching Ricochet get lynched needs to ask themselves if they're okay with one of the most vocal opponents of the Primes being perfunctorily lynched by the Primes right in front of us.
If you want to win the game, and you aren't on the Primes, you need to beat the Primes. Apparently, some people are having trouble realizing that, and are letting them lynch and kill whoever they want.

@Spacedaisy
You've said over the course of this game that you yourself don't wish to win, and that you only want to help players who do care and are strategizing win the game.
It was easy to say that when no one but a few belligerents (myself included) opposed the Prime dynasty, but it's harder for me to buy your claims of neutrality when you're voting for Ricochet, who, by post count, is the most active player in the entire game, and has been playing damn hard in my estimation.
What you're doing is clearly helping the Primes and hurting everyone that isn't one of them, and if you choose to help them to help yourself, fine. But you should acknowledge that you are completely and utterly partisan, and are causing people who want to win the game to lose the game, even while you yourself have no interest in winning.

Re: [DAY 25] Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3
Ricochet is the player I trust the most in this game. I don't know if I'm going to do what he says, but he's the only one with a clear and reasoned viewpoint in all of this mess that isn't just "let the primes win."

there's so much pointless infighting among the non-primes you might as well call us the democratic party

You're reading a magazine. You come across a full-page nude photo of a man. You show it to your wife. She likes it so much, she hangs it on your bedroom wall. The man is lying on a bearskin rug. How do you react to her doing this?Quin wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2017 7:08 pmI steal his killing jar.insertnamehere wrote: ↑Sun Nov 05, 2017 7:06 pmYou’ve got a little boy. Re: [DAY 23] Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3
Chicka Chicka 1, 2, 3 has, in the absence of any permanent stability RE: teams, turned into that social dynamic purported by American high schools everywhere.
There's the cool, popular kids, the weirdo outcasts, and those that hover in the middle weakly insisting that the dynamic doesn't exist, and everyone should just be friends already.
Unfortunately, unlike in real life, if you want to win this game, you have to be one of the popular kids.
