I don't know if it's relevant but I've never been insanified before and probably couldn't even have found the insanifier on the interwebz on my own had I wanted to fake it.Hedgeowl wrote:Ok, I see the other possible insanifier role now. I think Vomps is using a "real" insanifier, but had thought he was faking it. I am not as sure now. Granted he posted so much while insanified and now nada.S~V~S wrote:It looked fairly true to me, and we have 2 hex/potion people in this game, perhaps they insanify via different methods. I have seen probably half a dozen different insanifiers. Vomps looked like one I have seen before, so I am not sure what you mean by "true" insanification.Hedgeowl wrote:Mongoose wrote:I think this is for the best. Who survived? I am not Adverse to discussing MM, but am inclined to think he's most likely civ.
The reason i think vomps was faking was the first time we have seen true insanification this game.
And I was on phone, I did not realize it was a tie, I thought INH had less votes. Tomorrow i am going to vote BWT again, or Vomps. And :P at MP, you pushed me to make a decision, then did not show up, lol. I could have voted closer to the end than I did, and I would have voted Vomp to save INH.

I'm still leaning towards MM being civ, so I'm not sure I want to look there. Vomps is one I would consider though. Given the way the lynch went down, I could possibly be wrong about him. Not to mention that once he was un-insanified, he didn't bother explaining his vote for INH. Or any of his other posts for that matter.

Re: Occultism Mafia - Day 4
Choronzon /ˌkoʊˌroʊnˈzoʊn/ is a demon or devil that originated in writing with the 16th-century occultists Edward Kelley and John Dee within the latter's occult system of Enochian magic. In the 20th century he became an important element within the mystical system of Thelema, founded by Aleister Crowley, where he is the Dweller in the Abyss,[1][2] believed to be the last great obstacle between the adept and enlightenment. Thelemites believe that if he is met with proper preparation, then his function is to destroy the ego, which allows the adept to move beyond the Abyss of occult cosmology.
Are we properly prepared?

This post should have a trigger warning. Just because it is easy for you to read through 6 pages of posts doesn't mean it's that easy for the rest of us. I personally struggle with staying focused throughout one post if it's more than a few paragraphs long and has more than one quote in it.birdwithteeth11 wrote:Hi all!

I'm probably wrong again but I don't think Boogs deserved any of those votes. That said, if I had to guess I'd say the Boogs voters so far are more likely to be mistaken civs than baddies.
INH's A Person vote makes little sense to me. Epi got 5 votes in the lynch, 3 would have been enough, A Person was the 4th to vote. Therefore it is only logical that I'm *voting INH*.

The Cassandra metaphor (variously labelled the Cassandra 'syndrome', 'complex', 'phenomenon', 'predicament', 'dilemma', or 'curse') occurs when valid warnings or concerns are dismissed or disbelieved.
