Made, I'm trying to do what you requested and wait for you to bring up some points about bea before i vote, but time is slipping by and I have things that have to get done. I hope it won't be too much longer.

These are the things (except the distrust of L's post because it hadn't happened yet) that disturbed me about Made when I voted him before. Now there is the part about him distrusting L's message about Elo. I'm still leaning to a vote in his direction but I'll wait a little while in case something happens. I'm just not feeling the passion around the FZ. vote.

What do you guys think about FZ.'s defense? Maybe I'm just naive but it seemed to make sense to me and she seemed genuine. I was all convinced she was bad when I read the case without her response.

Epi that was a well constructed case. I was leaning heavily toward made but now will think through the points you've brought up here. I also want to see FZ.'s response.

I could also see a Made vote. I voted him the lynch before the Elo lynch and I haven't gained any trust in him since that vote.

DH, I understand one of your deductions but the BR deduction (why would she not be killed instead of Zomba) lost me. Can you elaborate?

boo, you said in a previous post you wouldn't post a case on bea because she could emotionally manipulate people and make it look like a bea vs. boo thing. Now that L has implicated bea I think your case probably doesnt run the risk of being a vehicle for manipulation. I for one would like to see your case.

BR just hasn't been on my radar because I don't agree that she's laying lower than she usually does. I haven't kept a close eye on her though. I'll add it to my to-do list.

The person who brought up the "Kira laying low" theory is Metalmarsh, and he hasn't pursued his own theory much at all, either because he doesn't really believe it himself, or doesn't really care if we catch Kira or not.

Ah thanks TH. I was thinking 7% seems pretty low for being pretty sure someone is bad but your explanation clears that up.

I agree. I hadn't noticed bea being cautious but I'd better take a look at her posts.

Just curious- what would you do is L said you were a Kira-sympathizer?

What would I do? Well i would no longer feel comfortable with what s/he said in the future because s/he would be wrong sometimes (that I'm a Kira sympathizer) and right sometimes. i would be very wary of him/her. I'm not sure if this is what you are asking or not.

Oh that's an interesting theory FZ. It would be very clever of L to do that and it wouldn't count as an infodump since it's not true (at least I don't think it would count.)

I decided to see if I could make the case for Made but I can't search for everything that's been said about him because his name is too common so I only have what makes me suspicious. Besides that, this message from L came up and my attention was drawn to elo.

I don't know why Elo isn't speaking up, she's been in the thread. It makes it look like she's given up. Anyway, I'm going with L and we'll at least be able to tell something about L from this lynch. I'm still bothered by the info dump issue - though if L is not telling the truth it wouldn't be an info-dump. But then why would L lie to us? Hey jules, what do you think of Epi and Metalmarsh this game?

I would need to relook at Epi because there are times I think he is bad but there have been plenty of times I have thought he was a civ. I don't completely trust him though. Metalmarsh I haven't had an opinion on one way or another. Do you think Epi and/or MM are bad? If so I'll dig deeper into both.

FZ as far as strategy goes i mentioned win conditions as a determinant but there is also the possibility that Kira is/was/will take a lot of heat in the thread and give up his Death Note so he will not be lynched or night killed. That's why everyone is talking about who has taken heat in the thread because DH (I believe, it could have been someone else) contends that the first two deaths were not like the last one so it appears the Death Note has changed hands.

As always, some one correct me if I'm wrong.

FZ I think it is less confusing if you read it as I answer the questions to the best of my ability. One benefit Kira/Light gets by passing on the Death Note is he cannot be lynched or night killed and that is not just once. It stays that way as long as he doesn't have a Death Note is how I read it. As the description says, Light can regain the Death Note and may in turn pass it to Mikami, but can't get it back unless Mikami dies. I don't know if it is a good strategy, it would depend for me on what the win conditions are. If I misrepresented or left out anything to do with your questions please someone correct me.


Role Description
The initial finder of a Death Note, Light is a high-school senior who quickly grows obsessed with power, declaring himself the ultimate decider of criminals’ fates. Determined to create a new perfect world without evil, Light will manipulate or kill anyone in his way. Has BTSC with Ryuk. Writes a player’s name in the Death Note every night, killing them. Arrogant and incredibly manipulative, Light feels no true alliance to anyone but himself, and thus can kill any human, even one of his supporters. Once Misa starts killing, Light may send a message to her every day. If certain events occur, he and Ryuk may gain BTSC with Misa and Rem. At any time, Light may choose to forfeit ownership of the Death Note. If he does so, Higuchi receives the Death Note. Under certain circumstances, Light may regain the Death Note. After regaining it, he may subsequently pass it on to Mikami at any time, but he cannot regain the Death Note again unless Mikami is killed. While not possessing a Death Note, Light cannot be lynched or night killed. At all times after Light and Misa gain permanent BTSC, only one Kira may be killing at a time. Thus, if Higuchi or Mikami possess a Death Note, Light and Misa must abstain, even if one of them also has a Death Note. If the active Kira is ever caught by Near, Light may have a chance to still win, but only if Matsuda is dead.

I don't think you're crazy. I may well vote Eloh, and I don't have any reason to distrust L, but I want to think it through and not just react blindly.

BR, I agree with what llama says here but I also have to reconcile why MP would allow an infodump like this. He said at the beginning he would go ballistic if it happened (this or outting someone) so why is it ok in this instance.

I'm going to reread Made. There was something, I just cant remember what, that triggered my interest. It may have been that he is posting so little compared to his normal civ state. I'll know more after I reread.

I only said "maybe" on him and like you are saying, not early and not without a reason. He has tricked me before but he has also come to my aid as a civ when he was indy so I'm very careful about him. I enjoy him in games too.
