I'm going to go ahead and vote BR too (ahead of whatever cheerleading is going on) for reasons already discussed in the thread.

BR, one of the things i don't understand is why, if you had plenty of time to read then but not now, did you skip big chunks when you had plenty of time but didn't want to employ that same procedure when you had no time. (holy crow was that sentence long enough? I hope you understand what I'm saying)

In my re-read of BR I didn't find anything else to bring to the table but it did cement my thoughts that TH's case was a good one. I'll be interested to see what you find S~V~S. I've been rolling around with this lack of response hang up I have and I guess it can be said that she's had plenty of time to respond she just hasn't. I think I'm going to have to give Mac the BOTD today because TH's points meshed with my thought that Mac had done a good job at responding to the case against him. So, it's looking like a BR vote for me today. I'll wait a bit just in case something happens.

Yes, Mac's responses made me less sure of my case on him. I think the connections are there but it could also be a series of coincidences and he's civ. I still don't like that he's claiming to cheerlead that lynch lol but whatever. I've still got my eye on him but I think my BR case is more straightforward.

OK, that fits into my belief that he made good responses to the charges. The BR case is straightforward I just am having trouble looking at a vote there because she hasn't responded.

What I mean by that is are you less sure of some of the conclusions you drew in the case? Bottom line, I'm wondering why BR not Mac.

His defense for not being Penguin is that he wouldn't be that nooby, I disagree I think it is more likely he is the Penguin then not.

He has to be alive at the end of game to win, we are then letting one cop loose, plus Typhoony's job would be to get us to end game ASAP, that means he isn't siding with the civs and it would probably be easier to win with the mafia. Leaving him alive is dangerous as Mac said the longer he is here the more powerful and dangerous he becomes. I think he would be a good lynch candidate today simply since the Penguin isn't pro civ, and could in fact do more damage to the civs then the mafia.

Well as i said this morning, bea's assertion that you are an experienced player and not do something like what's been done to MP does give me pause. DH however thinks maybe MP was cursed to vote for sig and made up this "vote for sig" thingy he puts on all his posts to make it obvious his sig vote is a curse. Back to you, I do think you'd be smart enough to put a caveat on a vote force that the person could not let on in any way that they have been forced. So I guess the longer i think about it the less sure I am that you could be the Penguin. I also noticed you voted second for Wilgy and it seems like if you are the Penguin you would have wanted to make sure there was more than just one other voter on the person you were going to curse - thats assuming you were going to do this obvious of a curse on Wilgy. I was looking at you for one but even if you are the Penguin I would vote someone I think is mafia first. I want to hear BR's response to TH's case on her. I read her iso and couldn't see anything that would refute his case but I want to hear her response. Unfortunately she has not been on to respond to it. And then there is Mac. I explained this morning that I'm having a hard time accepting him as bad even though TH's evidence was good. Macs responses were good and I have read him as civ all game. Still though two of TH's points really struck a nerve with me, the comment Mac made about DH's comment to lynch Nero and his comment that he cheerleaded the lynch when in my opinion he didn't. So, I have not decided yet where to vote but it will probably be one of these three. Sorry this is all mushed together with no white space. I did explain all this this morning but you probably haven't gotten back that far yet.

Yes, I had that same thought. That's one of the reasons I said if Mac is bad, Neros partner, then he's mafia and that would definitely be worse in my mind than Typh being the penguin.

As I start the day today I'm considering three people for a vote tonight.

I believe DH's theory that Typh is the penguin though what bea said about him being more restrictive with a curse does cause me pause because Typh is indeed that experienced. I really would like to hear what he has to say about it though and since he's working now I hope he comes on when he gets home.

The BR case comparing her from one game to another also appeals to me. Again though, I'd like to hear what BR has to say about herself. I did reread her yesterday and I don't have anything I can add to the case.

I'm still dithering over the Mac case. It's hard because I read him so hard as civ and to consider a vote for him I have to bring my mind around to see him as bad. I also thought he did a good job defending himself. If he is bad it sounds like he's mafia where as Typh looks like an independent and I don't know about BR. My point is he could be the worst of the three if all three are "bad".

I don't get the remarks being made about Matt. To me it looks so clear that he was cursed by a different person last night than the one who cursed him the night before. I know Matt can be a little crazy but I find it difficult to believe he chose to post in lines from Shakespeare. So in short, i don't understand why there is suspicion on him.

Oh maybe its just shakespear cause that line was Macbeth.

My opinion is he has been targeted by two different people, on two separate days, one being the knock knock jokes and two for what he's doing here, quotes from Hamlet. It's just an opinion though based on knowing there is no double targeting.

I have read and read and read - hours even - Mac's iso and the only two things i find suspect are him saying he cheerleaded the lynch (and to be fair he did say in his opinion he was cheerleading) and his comment about DH telling everyone to vote Nero. Otherwise I feel like he has made some good points this game and reads as civ to me. I realize the two things I called out are at the crux of TH's case so I have to simmer with what I re-read and those two points from the game before i can make a sure decision on which way to go with Mac.

I thought the BR case was good but i haven't read her iso which I will do tonight or tomorrow morning. Tbh I don't relish the thought of reading another set of posts from another person but I think BR has had less to say than Mac.

First, sorry for screwing up my post. I was pre-coffee.

Second, i agree MP is somehow cursed. The fact that he couldnt really provide reasons when I asked was the tip off. I keep remembering one of the reasons MP said sig was bad is that people were trying to save him in the lynch on day 1 when in fact if he were mafia there would have only been one person to try to save him which wouldnt have done much good. I think that point about sig was bogus. Enrique, since you are also a proponent of voting sig can i ask you to just bullet the reasons you see him as bad? If you presented a case that I have just forgotten in the flurry of posts please just refer me to your iso.

Third, where the heck is Bass?

Fourth, TH that is quite a case on Mac. I had been reading him as civ so it was a little surprising to realize those things you said are true. I will have to simmer a bit with your case and re-read Mac to make sure I'm considering all sides of the issue, but your case seems solid to me at the moment.

I see now what point DH was making and I will say his opinion was one of the things i considered to take a leap of faith in Matt. Prior to deciding to take that leap of faith I had been inclined to vote his candidate MP and so DH's declaration to vote Nero instead was something I took into consideration. I don't see DH as suspicious right now.

Juliets took a leap of faith based entirely on my calling out Nero. You made a similar move. This completely shifted the lynch in favor of Nero getting axed. As far as I remember, several of the later Nero votes were "Because Nero has votes, hope [you're] Right!" such as Sorsha' vote in particular.

I'm not saying Nero's lynch was my sole doing, but I am saying that if I were teammates with Nero, I had it within my power (obviously) to ensure someone else took the fall. So when I see sig and MP and Mac arguing that I was his teammate, I have to call bullshit on that because it's bullshit.

Also I doubt Enrique bussed Nero because he called the fucker out even earlier than I did.

DH it wasn't based solely on what you said. I took a leap of faith based on what MAtt said. I don't know that this makes any difference I just want the record to be clear.

What Enrique means is that it is not outing somebody to speculate on who they are based on the thread alone. It's just making a case for why they are role x, and making a thread-based case as to why someone is role x town-aligned is no different from making a thread-based case as to why someone is role x mafia-aligned.

The problem was i thought he was saying TH was Alfred when in reality he was saying TH is pretending to be Alfred. Had I understood that I wouldn't have thought it was a role outing. I did google "Why do we fall?" (I haven't seen any of the batman movies or read the comics) and now I understand the suspicion, along with what Rico said.
