I counted 4 but one of those ways supposes matsuda is alive, ie, it was true at the beginning of the game but not now. Does anyone else have any ideas about this or about the number?

Ok my time is up, I have to go fix dinner. I'm going to vote for Mata this round for the reasons I explained in my last post. It was a very hard choice because there were good reasons for both but I have to pick one so it's Mata.

I have been back and forth most of the day between FZ. and Mata. With Mata I feel she was inconsistent with her thoughts on whether she would discuss players she trusted in the thread. In the posts I read today, she didn't sound genuine and she didn't sound like a civ who needs people to vote elsewhere for her to be saved. Could be a lynch will not kill her, though how many of those people have we got...it can't be true for everyone. Then there are the points TH has made and even though i know TH may be bad most of his points sound good - logical and thoughtful. With FZ. I still just can't understand why she would let herself become so upset about a lynch that wouldn't happen if what she says is true. I guess her answer there is that she doesn't want to waste a civ lynch on someone who is a civ when we could lynch someone who is bad. Also with FZ there is still that weird feeling I get about her telling us all FU - why would she do that if civ, especially if the lynch would do nothing to her.

So I'm going to read a little more, think about it a little more, and then vote probably in about 30 more minutes.

FZ, in Epi's latest long post he points out that if we lynch you and you are an unlynchable civ nothing will happen. If you're a Kira though the Death Note will be forced out of your hands. I know this seems like a dumb question but why fight so hard and make yourself miserable if the worst thing that can happen if you're civ is nothing?

Ok, let's try this again. Oddly enough FZ. I agree with several of your assessments of people.

Your first post is something I hadn't thought about in my assessment of Mata so I will fold those thoughts in and take another look. I believe there are also some things TH brought up that I need to take into consideration.

With Bass, I just went through the same thing in Roger Rabbit in that Bass has a rl situation that could be affecting the way he posts, i.e. the way he was giving nothing even when he did post. In that particular case he finally said something that made most people feel they needed to overlook the real life circumstances and vote for him. He was indeed bad. I think about that situation as I look at Bass in this game. I agree with you that he is a potential vote for me though I want to re-read him again.

Your thoughts about llama I don't agree with though. I see his normal game, some foolishness and some tunnelvision but since it is normal for him it doesn't cause me to see him as a baddie. I skimmed over his posts and didn't see anything that stood out but if you think something does stick out just tell me what it is and i will reconsider. (If you already did that don't worry I will find it in your posts. I just don't remember it from the posts I read yesterday. My memory is bad in this game where there are people saying a lot of things most of the time.)

I also agree that Rico reads logical to me and as i said before I am attracted to such logic. I haven't reread him and he's not currently on my priority list for a reread unless someone comes up with something that I hadn't noticed. And also zeek doesn't trouble me at this point.

Spacedaisy also seems on the level to me and I agree with her that I can't quite work myself up to fully trust Epi to be a detective. That said though, the fact that he seems to have his own agenda leads me to believe he is either yotsuba or sidoh. She also points out, and again i agree, that he really seems genuine in his belief that you are bad. That belief convinced me last night - well mostly it was the %'s from his analysis - but I don't know that it would be enough tonight. TH made me feel bad that maybe I didn't take in enough of my own reads, but on the other side of that coin, reads are emotional by nature and I rarely vote totally on reads (I have done it every once in a while).

boo - earlier in the game I found myself agreeing a lot with what boo was saying but it seems like he has dropped off of posting so there is not that much there for me to assess anymore. It also feels like DH has dropped off a little bit (is this just my imagination that these two have dropped off?) so it's hard for me to feel anything but neutral (not leaning good or bad) for these two.

I'm going to leave off here for now, I don't want to lose another post.

From my experience, the forum saves what you type even if you go back in your browser or close the window. If you can use your history to open the page in which you were typing, the content of your post should still be there.

TH, where I was coming from is FZ. can say whatever she wants to try and have us read her as civ, including the FU. Russ voting for her first and early makes a statement that we can't ignore: he thought she was bad and he was confident of it. If he was who we think he was, (and I think there were a few more ifs in Epi's analysis) then there is an overwhelming chance that he is right. FZ. is not easy for me to read which is why I rely more on the evidence Epi is presenting. BUT, I was ready to vote her at that time when I thought this was Day 2 last 30 minutes because I don't have anything else that is as compelling on anyone else. By tomorrow same time I might have something more compelling so don't assume I will vote her tomorrow.

What do you mean by the decisions part? And I am attracted to factual data. I understand the facts also say there is a slim chance that FZ. is an unlynchable civ which is what she claims to be. On the other side of the coin there is her getting mad with the fu but as been pointed out she was getting mad for no reason if she is unlynchable. I can be talked out of voting for her, she was just the best I had at this moment in time. By tomorrow things could be different but not if we spend the whole day on FZ.

So sorry. Maybe I will see something that makes me come off of a FZ. vote.

I am convinced by the statistical work that was done that I should vote for FZ. unless there was a flaw that I skipped over when reading. I read all of Mata and didn't see what I was expecting to see so I can't vote there today. We only have 20 minutes left to vote - is everyone aware of that?

guys, let me just review my rl while in this game. It's all in the thread but not all in one place. I started out out of town. Then, I got very ill for two weeks, then I had a death in the family. Through it all I have tried to keep up and post regularly but there are bound to be some times when I posted irregularly or not at great length. Still, I managed to stay ahead of other posters but not nearly in line with those who post hundreds of posts. I will never be that player, I just don't post like that. I had 161 posts in GOC where I was a civ and won and that game ended somewhere around night 13. Here I have 144 and its day 8. I'm posting at my normal rate.

I also should have mentioned I don't know what to make of bea. I think it's doubtful she will get lynched today and I'm interested to see what position she takes once she makes it through this lynch. She's just on my watch list for now.

FZ. I can't throw a vote llama's way yet. Maybe in the future. With that said, TH's link to MM's conversation about his suspects reminded me that MM never went after those people to try and post a case about them. In that sense, the list does seem contrived and it's probably for the exact reason TH says. So I'm adding my vote to MM today as it's the best I've got.

That certainly seems to fit. I don't know how he could have left you off that left. No offense, but surviving that lynch really makes you look bad. And you're the only one to have survived a lynch. I agree the whole thing is odd. I may look his way for a vote.

Eventually MM makes a list of Kira suspects that fit a profile he seemed to have created on the fly... and until today, after being prompted by Bea herself to do so, he hasn't voted for or pursued any of those suspects. The question I ask myself is, is he even interested in catching Kira? The evidence says no.

I would love to point to the other times I tried to engage with MM in the same way as I did above, but after that exchange he tended to outright ignore my direct questions to him, skulking away into the shadows, only to accuse me yesterday of not bringing up any points about him. When I proved him wrong on that, he scurried back into the shadows once again. Hah!

Yes, I see what you mean. And it was a long list, so should have been easy to pick one person, maybe the person at the top of his list and start asking some questions or making some assertions.

TH I haven't voted for bea and I am trying to figure out the underlying context. She seems desperate to tell us who she is but it seems like that is just to show boo up. bea, I really don't understand why you voted for yourself and are encouraging others to do it. If you are a detective it is absolutely the wrong thing to do, good way to lose a detective and would be bad for the entire team. I don't know that I've seen a civ vote for themselves unless its been one of those "I don't know who to vote" things. If you are bad well then, go ahead and keep calling for more votes. Maybe you're trying to turn the vote toward you and away from someone like FZ.

DH, thanks for the link to your cases. I just read one with a lot about how she feels/felt about boo and I think I need to read it again to even know whether I agree or disagree. It's getting late for me. I'll get it all reread though so I just wanted you to know you didn't put those links out there for nothing.

boo I cut out the beginning and end of your case because I just wanted to comment on this one part. I also noticed this contradiction when I read it and wondered what exactly DP meant. I forgot about it though and did not question it like I should have. I will be interested to see how DP explains what seems to be a straight on contradiction between his two thoughts.

DH seems like its been a long time since we talked about Black Rock. Can you explain the reason? I've now got her in my head in the other game.

Because the point I was making in that post is that I think it's odd that your main reason for singling out Bass, BR, DP, and Daisy is that they haven't been paying attention, while you ignore other people (like FZ, Mata, Zeek, and Juliets) who are equally not paying attention. How can you condemn BR for the same behavior that you are defending in FZ?
