JJJ's role was a civ role though. I agree with DH that motel room could be the counter balance on the other team for Wilgy's role and then JJJ is the balance for the civs. That way all three factions have something the same for balance.
A baddie role can counterbalance a civ role.

How often have you played with me Ricochet? The "game MO" I embrace this game is no different from the MO I embrace in other games.

I had assumed there was one team which is why I thought it was odd but I soon realized it just meant two teams. Like I said, it just seemed odd because we were obviously about to lynch him.

Rico, I'm not sure people understand your question after my ISO. It was something about whether zebra threw her power toward me. Here were zebras powers:

In position 4, Roger Rabbit can frame a player by making them appear bad to alignment checks.
In any other Position, he may target a player and force them to post using only emoticons for the next Day.

Obviously she didn't curse me to speak in emoticons so are you asking if she made me appear bad to alignment checks? Maybe you should repeat the question and be a little more specific as to what you are asking.

Also, yes, I see it very likely for Sorsha to have primarily distanced, then bussed LoRab when it was the most consistent thing she could have resorted to.

Ok Day 6. Yes, I understand its a flip flop on me I just noticed the discrepancy when I read through and wanted to make sure what the right sequence was. Just because I question it doesn't mean I see it as bad, though often that is the case, just not here.

Ricochet, you mention on Day 7 that Sorsha gives up her suspicion on me from Day 5 yet on Day 5 you don't say anything about a suspicion of me. What gives? Also, are you saying Sorsha's maintained suspicion of Lorab was a bus?

Hahaha that's what I am saying. It's weird that you are calling out Wilgy based on what you perceive as mistakes when I am so used to mistakes being dismissed as "lol as if he'd do that as scum".

Wilgy is such a wifomy guy it's hard to say. Hell he might have intentionally made the mistake to use that sort of defense. I have played scum with him before and he's playing totally different here though. He was scum hunting like crazy in the game he was scum with me and he had no scum to hunt. So many analysis's and tables and shit.

That being said, you say yourself that bad civ play is usually thought of that way here. Do you think Draco, Marsh, juliets and Motel are just using your case as a place to hide their vote? I doubt any of them would have made a case on him had you not because they'd have just let him be weird and given him a terrible=civ pass as you said. Hell they'd probably be suspecting you and I for actually trying. It's the most frustrating thing about playing Mafia.

Sorsha and DrWilgy because of DH's case. I add Mac to that mix because after the scrutiny Wilgy has come under, Mac has gone to posting a case against and pushing a Draconus-FZ connection. Also, Mac has been trying to discredit DH's case by calling out the people voting alongside him (rather than discount DH directly).

As for the other camp, Draconus, Matt and juliets: This one is more of a stretch in my mind. Matt is just a guess. But Draco fits the bill more. I think that Mac is trying to point in the direction of the other team, especially Draco. Draco also tends to pay attention more in games where he is bad. He has posted a lot this game. I believe he has already set a personal record in post count by a ton, and it's Day 8 (compared to say Recruitment or World Reborn where he lived to the final day). Juliets hasn't had much to say about Draco. She is almost as much of a guess as Matt, but I put the two most likely names, in my mind, that could fit here.
Really? That's Drac posting a lot? Maybe he is bad. I was under the impression he didn't care that much, and since I didn't think you were trying to save him, I thought he was okay. But this kind of changes things

linki: I don't know Juliets. You come in, after reading the cases. No questions to ask either side, just saying it all adds up and tied nicely in a neat bow. Doesn't sound like the civ Juliets I know that likes to look at things from all angles.

I think what you're missing is I did look at things from several angles including the Mac and Bea angle. I just didn't do it "out loud" meaning in the thread. I will do that next time. I certainly understand what you mean though and why it looked odd to you.

I think you make good points and even if there was nothing else about Wilgy I'd be suspicious of him. As it is, I see enough between that, the ISO, and my own gut feel to put Wilgy at the top of my list. As always though I'd like to hear from him. I may go ahead and vote him with the understanding I'll pull my vote if I believe what he says.

Ricochet, in response to your ISO, I always try to make my death posts a little more personal than just RIP, though sometimes it is just an RIP and occasionally I forget altogether. It's just part of my normal way of playing and is not mechanical. My pressure votes were not to kill but to pressure someone to come out and join the game. The Tranq situation was a little bit different. On providing strong leads I know I have not done that and that's another thing that is common to my play. I did ask some important questions though to try and bring things to the surface.

MM, you seem to be admitting now that you are an Indy if checked and not a neutral as you claimed earlier. Why did you make such a big deal about not being indy but instead being neutral when you were indeed indy? The Intro to Mafia on the site even says there are three types of roles, civs, mafia and independents - not neutrals.

After looking through his ISO again, I firmly believe my theory is correct. On Days 4 and 5, Boom goes after Tranq, votes him first both days, and when Tranq dies, Boom says "I done messed up".

Perhaps he thought I was a straight up Indy, as in I am actually a 3rd party (aside from civs and baddies). If he did learn my role, it was an Indy in its original game, but I won't detail it more than that.
