I'm sorry, I had to just vote in a hurry my games post is coming up. DP was the only one who pinged me so thats where I voted.

I was hoping Mongoose would have had time to answer but it doesnt look like she has. Russti, I don't know ye who I'm going to vote. The only person that has pinged me is DP and I'm not feeling really strong about that. Who are you thinking about?

Mongoose, I'm reading back through your posts and I can't understand this one. It's in response to SVS asking you who you meant when you said you saw some aggressive players playing less aggressively (I'm paraphrasing there just to let you know what post you were responding to). Can you tell me what you are saying here?

I just finished reading MP (I had to also throw a jog into that time) and didn't see anything I felt was un-Moving Pictures like in these first days. His suspicions, though varied, seem to be rational. I won't be looking his way for the lynch.

I'm about to re-read Hedgeowl because of the issue brought up by SVS I think that Hedgeowl contradicted herself. I'm concerned however that Hedgeowl seems to be under either a smilie curse or a silence curse. When I first read her post above I thought why is she just repeating what somebody else said? but upon closer inspection I see she has added little smilies. Given that her name has come up and she was here it doesnt make sense to me that she wouldn't address the issue that's been brought up. I'm still going to re-read her but I'm not sure I would vote her unless I see her speak up.

DP, to try to answer your question I can explain a little further why your vote bothers me. MP and I had been having some conversation about Lizzy earlier in the day, around the noonish time frame. From that time up until the below quote which was at @5:29 you hadn't said anything about Lizzy, then all of a sudden this:

On the SVS issue, I said earlier that she is one baddies like to get rid of early because shes a good player - perseveres when there is someone she thinks is bad and has good insights. I think that's exactly what happened in the NK. Someone or ones wanted to get rid of her for that reason.

I am looking at Lizzy voters today starting with MP. I'll be back later to offer thoughts.

I just got home from the game, the one where Epig was glad to see Tampa being ripped up. It was not fun, I am tired, and irritated that Epig was happy. Tomorrow I'm going to take a more indepth look at the Libby voters. When I think back on the vote I was definitely surprised by DP's vote but at this moment I can't think of why. It just was so...unexpected if that makes sense. I'll re-look at it tomorrow and see if I can pinpoint if that's it or maybe i'm just remembering wrong. Nothing more tonight though, I'm beat.

It's very easy to make a mistake and vote a civ if you are a civ and that's what has happened to me. I voted A Person in the first vote because i randomized people who had the most votes and his name came up. I voted Lizzy in the second vote because her reasoning did not make since to me as to why she voted SVS. Just because two people disagree does not make one of them a baddie. To my way of thinking it sounded like a trumped up reason to vote SVS, someone that I've seen baddies want out of the game early a lot. That doesn't mean I'm convinced that SVS is good - I just was convinced it was a bad reason to vote for her.

So, those are my two votes.

I just wonder if either might have a few distractors -- because Day 2 lynch was very fishy to me. I felt pressed to vote and really had no lead whatsoever and was frankly shocked to see more than a few players just blindly follow it and add no other thoughts of their own. I did think Lizzy could have been baddie, but I believe she really got lynched due to lack of communication, and I feel terrible that there were really no other leads that I could think of to vote for anyone else at the time (though I did briefly consider llama or DP). I've got to run an errand and not sure I'll be back in time for a vote so I'm going to vote now. I haven't seen anything to move my eye off of Lizzie though I do wish she had been able to respond to questions about the way she voted. It sounded like this morning she might be gone all day but I was hoping. So, I've made a decision to go ahead and vote for her because nothing else has caught my eye.

To answer a question posed earlier I'm not looking at the Day 1 votes at this point. I don't see anything there though I might later.

I think MP is right in guessing Lizzy voted for SVS because she disagreed with llama. I hope she comes back with more than that because right now she's niggled me. There may be other things that crop up later with other people but so far this has my eye.

Also, what is with all the "Sympathy" covers? I did that one because I didn't think anyone else would! Boy was I wrong.

Regarding spreads vs. not on Day 1, I would think spread votes would be in a baddie team's favor more so than a straight up lynch. They can much more easily control the vote and avoid a Day 1 baddie lynch and cause some chaos. However, they could also run the risk of outing themselves, so that's a consideration. Additionally, a not spread vote can give very little information, especially when it is a civvie lynch, and many baddies can bandwagon. So I guess it does depend on strategy and what actually happens.

Yes, I would say llama is my top suspicion for now. (Again, I admit I may be biased because his attack happened to be on me. I also just find it very un-llama-like.)

I think I'm also saying that a spread Day 1 lynch might be good precisely BECAUSE baddies control it more often than not. In almost every game I've played, you gumshoes have ferreted out who's doing the controlling and lynched them, which is very bad for the baddies indeed.

Rusti, are you saying it's been your experience that llama doesn't normally go for the person who hasn't posted yet? Or if not, what makes his move un-llama like? I'm not doubting you, just trying to understand what specifically is bothering you.

Russti, I'm not sure what you mean by me "saving her vote so early". What I did was once i got a vote I then saved mine in return in case I had to vote to save myself. The votes seemed to be spreading,i.e., one here, one there which is how a baddie would want it. You can then lynch someone with only 2 votes if the votes were spread far enough so on a day one when there is so much randomizing it's smart to save your vote if you get one of those random votes. I did not see the need to save myself but if I randomized, which is what i had originally planned to do, I would have just spread the vote more or tied somebody else up with DH and AP. In fact, in one game I played I went ahead and randomed in this sitaution and was accused of spreading the vote, a baddie tactic. I will vote Box A in honor of the Alabama Crimson Tide, best in the nation (well, this week at least). Also for all the "A" Rolling Stones songs like Angie.

So as not to spread the vote any further I randomed between A person and DP and got A Person.

I never knew that was a baddie ploy...I'm going to wait to make sure the votes don't string out everywhere and i end up with a couple more and have to save myself. If not i'll just do a normal random.

Thank you Roxy. Well, if someone doesn't get my attention I will use my day 1 default which is to random amongst the low posters. I'm really hoping not to do that though.
