Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [ENDGAME]
I'm confused. That statement of Doms says the only person at endgame that didnt' out themselves was DH. But DH was not at endgame in this game. I was at endgame and was very careful not to drop any hints or clues as to who I was.Long Con wrote:Dom, Doctor Who wrote:Yes, I was the Master.
I will say that I am COMPLETELY frustrated with the way I lost. I didn't lose because of anything I did or did not do. I lost because several players were outed and outed themselves. It came to the point where if you were suspected, you dropped role hints until everyone got what role you were.
That's not how we play Mafia.
Good game, everyone. I had fun.Dom, I'm actually pretty surprised that you would call it BS that a baddie team would kill you for infodropping, when you're usually heavily on the other side of the argument.Dom, Game of Champions wrote:Of the people in the end game, the only person who was not outed/didn't out themselves was DH-- when excluding inactives because they don't matter at that point.
That's a problem.
Honestly, this is the second game on this site that has been absolutely DESTROYED because of info dumping and role outing. There's good in info dumping, but there's also, "hey i'm not bad and it rhymes with "prom".

Dom you so persevered that it put the doubt in my head about BR. Why is he asking that question? Why is he so sure Vompati doesn't have the items? etc. You turned my head and thats all it took along with SVS.

llama, i loved the game especially the newspaper part of it. I don't know why but every night I got excited to see the paper the next day. My role was fun, it was exciting up to the last moment and you were great at giving us those posts on time. I really thank you for that. I will gladly play future llama games, really enjoyed this one.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 11]
I have thought this whole game, except for this last little bit where the overheard info came into play, that BR was good. And much like SVS I do not really want to vote for her but thats my emotional side and not my rational side. My emotional side didn't vote for Bullz and that was obviously wrong. So, today I'm placing my vote on BR and hoping I'm right. If I'm not, I'm very sorry.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 11]
i'm going to give it the night, sleep on it, and then I'll make up my mind. One thing is for sure though, if the two of you are going to vote BR then I will do the same. It feels like a flip the coin decision to me at the moment. I need to think a little more about that bts BR heard and like you SVS I wish Dom had left his full thoughts with us. If it is not BR then I think if I counted right there are enough people left to vote Vompatti and win even with the night kill. Am I seeing that correctly? I hope Canuck votes. Ok, I'm off to bed for now.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [NIGHT 10]
He would be the one with the items yes, unless the stealers have been steadily stealing from him. I need to think about this because I can see Dom's point but also see the points about Vomps. I agree though we should talk about it before we do anything. Thinking though we shouldn't talk tonight about it but game day tomorrow after the NK has passed. I'm paranoid this late in the game.S~V~S wrote:And then there was one
And it's the Millionaire. So that means we should talk about it before we vote if at all possible. Dom seems pretty sure on BR~ his reason seems related to items. The Millionaire has been doing the killing, so would be the one with the items. Coincidence?
Both Bullz & DF did the wide eyed, "Who Vomps? But Epi voted him to tie" deal. Unless that was an advance misdirection. It is something I have done myself in games, so it is a possibility. But the last time I recall Vomps blatantly saying stuff like, "RIP *insertdeadbaddienamehere* " was when he was bad. Or having linear conversations on topic. So I am confuzzled about what to do tomorrow.

That I don't know either though I don't have someone penciled in for one of the stealer roles on the civ side and then of course there are two missing baddies. I could have the roles penciled in wrong in which case I would say a baddie has them.Dom wrote:Do you think baddies or civvies are more likely to have a plethora of items?juliets wrote:I don't know Dom.Dom wrote:Juuliets, then who has the items if BR does not?juliets wrote:I believe her that she only has 1 item. I've thought a lot about the Bullz info and I think she got bad info. If she were bad she could have said f*** it, i think the info is wrong and jumped on the Bullz vote. But she didn't - she continued to believe the info and voted accordingly.

You took the words right out of my mouth - or right from my hands. I'm left with Vomps and DFaraday as the baddies.S~V~S wrote:OK, I was gonna wait for someone else to post, becasue I did not want to make 2,598 posts in a row, but my short list is Faraday & Vomps. Two baddies left, and that is who I think it is.

I'm pretty sure he said he could vouch for her as opposed to he thinks she's civ. Dom maybe you could weigh in on this.
Yes, that frustration was definitely there. It could be because she is just barely skimming the thread because of her pre-lims and thus very uncertain who to vote. That's what I got out of her wanting to vote who you voted. But i do not know Canuck that well, haven't played with her that much.
I think I will probably vote DF today but I want to make sure I consider everyone who is on the might be bad list since there are so few of us left.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [NIGHT 9]
SVS, Metalmarsh subbed in for A Person and then switched roles with Bass (or it could have been the other way around, A person switched roles with Bass and then Metalmarsh subbed in for A Person, it really doesn't matter which happened first).
It only makes sense that to switch roles you'd have to be of the same alignment, otherwise one of the two would know who a whole team of people were.
Metalmarsh died at night so he had to be a civ or a celestial. I don't think he was a celestial. So Bass, if he's the same alignment as MM has to be civ.
Something else happened in this time period sealed the deal for me. I can't tell you what without completely outting Bass.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [NIGHT 9]
Bullz vote for Vomps could have been to give Vomps civ credit or it could have been intended to make Bullz look civ since Vomps has been mentioned as potentially bad. Trouble is, I don't know how to get inside Bullz mind and figure out which it was. There are probably other possibilities as well. Vomps is on my potential baddie list but its really by process of elimination more than anything else.

Yes. I got an item that said it was a telegram from somebody to somebody (no names given) saying that the DNA results were in and two people were in fact twins (I wasn't clear on whether it was the two in the telegraph or two others). Then, this same info came out in the paper soon after. I have no clue how it pertains to this game and I guess no one else did either since there were not any comments when it aired in the paper.rabbit8 wrote:Eloh was Waldo, could have stolen them got lynched. It doesn't matter who I vote at this point but I really want to believe BR's info is true. I don't have DF penciled in to any role and I'm still suspicious of that night he didn't die unless someone can explain it to me in a way that he comes out civ. So I'll join BR in a DF vote.

I said I was going to probably follow SVS beforeBR came forward with her information. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now. You have simply gotten angry that people have voted for you. You have yet to present a suspicion.
I said where I wanted to look. I invited people to explain the Vomp case or discuss DFaraday. I haven't had a chance yet to properly look at anyone. I'm very busy. Now I don't see why I should even bother when I'd need to convince literally everyone who hasn't voted. I don't see that happening. JC has already said she'd probably follow SVS, and I think at least one other person is going to follow you.

Re: Harry Stephen Keeler [DAY 9]
Then maybe I won't vote bullz. I still have vompatti on my list of people I don't have a role for so it's possible I go that way unless someone has a good reason why not. I have a role penciled in for Dom so I had no intention voting there. Thanks BR, that is a good piece of info. [note: I have considered that BR is bad and made this up to save her teammate bullz but I just don't think thats the case.]

Black Rock, does your info leave you with a solid idea who you might vote for today?Black Rock wrote:Well that was an interesting night. I came upon some information that has given me some insight. It has also made me very wary of these early votes. I am not sure how to approach this without upsetting the thread... maybe I should think about it before saying more. This information has led me to believe Rabbit is wrong about Bullz. It has also changed my mind a little about Dom. To clarify that, I have been previously unsure about Dom but now I feel a bit better about him.

SVS why would you even think of self voting!? And I will probably follow you two in your vote.
