Re: Spectator Thread
Which would be a mistake. I don't see anyone successfully making their case based on backroom dealings, because it's too easy to take credit for things you didn't do, or for someone on the Jury to say "You thought you were this puppet master, but check this out."juliets wrote:They must be thinking that their backroom play is influencing people who will be on the jury so there is no need for public play.DharmaHelper wrote:That's why I showboated so publicly. There were 5 different people getting votes last night- Quin voted Elo, but his vote was forced to Epi.juliets wrote:I didn't see one comment on Epi's death. The jury is going to have a hard time finding behavior to rate, it's all in bts.
Once people that have been engaging in BTSC chats enter Ponderosa, they'll hear more from behind the scenes and how people have been scheming.
Edit: As JC said, it's going to be very difficult for anyone to make a legit case on why they should win based on BTSC backroom dealings.
Had I made it all the way to the promised land, no one could refute my play because it was out in the open for anyone to see. People are going to have too hard a time selling themselves on backroom stuff unless we see a big shake up and a public display of power.
The winner's gotta have something concrete they can point to that everyone has seen.

Sawyer was Atamai. So him giving up is a gift for the craftier Mamana like Golden and LoRab, if they know how to use it.juliets wrote:Was notsawyer on your team when you got booted? Re: Spectator Thread
Golly jf Quin ends up betraying SVS that might just be the cherry on top of the game.Scotty wrote:A lot of this game is made up of hidden information and commitments.juliets wrote:Oh thats great - I'm glad we get to see it (the jury thread). I hate that all the talk is taking place in btsc from the thread peeps.
If I were as active as I could be, I'd be relaying that here.
The pitfalls of looking into each BTSC is that, because people are pledging to each other similar final 5, 4, 3 deals, I don't know what they're really planning.
It would seem that Epi and Elo are going to be a threat down the line.
There is talk that Golden, Sorsha and Opt are looking to form a final 3, but Golden has also talked to Quin as if to bring him into the Mamana circle. Quin is throwing SVS to the curb in his convo with Golden.
INH forgot to send in his BTSC requests, so who knows what he's doing.
As of right now, because of the reward on Day 4, only Golden is left sick. When no one is sick, how useful will DF be to the tribe, really?![]()
Could be that original Atamai is about to be picked off one by one unless something happens. If notsawyer goes home like people are suggesting, that is..

I still maintain, as a neutral observer at this point, the best move is to get Quin out ASAP. Like it or not, using his idol to get me out makes him a contender to go to the end. Somebody's gonna have to punch his ticket or hand him the win.

I think nobody has their eye on the ball right now, it's all Kumbaya this and Yay Merge that. Nobody's playing to win, and that's gonna cost people in the end. If it's a lady's alliance then the men have no excuse.Marmot wrote:One thing I remember from Last Man Standing Mafia that was hosted here:

Re: Spectator Thread
My prediction for the rest of the game:
Lorab, Golden, Opt and Chuck are a strong group. I think they'll make it far. If Mamana was smart they'd take advantage of the fact that Quin burned his idol on me.
Also, I'll just add this:
I had a real good time playing this game, probably because it was LMS format with basically open BTSC, which might be the only game I'm down to play consistently at this point. I really didn't want to win as much as I wanted to give you guys a good show and have a good time. Figure I did that.

Also, had our challenge been for immunity I would have been fine. Had we not been swapped I had Mamana eating out of my hand so I would have been fine.
