It makes no sense that Drusilla would leave the Whirlwind and run off with Spike? Spike and Dru are far more iconic together than Dru, Angelus, and Darla.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 2)
Just got home, thought this ended an hour later. Guess I'm probably dead, so whatever.
Let me ask you all something though: I had the way Drusilla's role works exactly backwards from how it actually works. It was a complete reversal of what we know her ability to do, so even if she has secrets that aren't part of the game it couldn't possibly be what I said. Also, if I were part of the baddie team what reason could I have for positing a baddie power that isn't public knowledge? What could I possibly have to gain from the gambit? And if it were an honest mistake, how much less likely would I be to make a mistake like that if I were actually on the team with Drusilla? Seriously, you guys. This makes absolutely no sense.
If anyone could tell me exactly how or why a baddie would misrepresent Drusilla's power the way I did (calling needless attention to themselves to boot), please explain to me. You talk about capitalizing on an easy lynch, this was fricking it.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 2)
I made a post that seemed to have gotten lost, but basically I read the roles on Day 1 and today I misremembered how Dru worked.
Lap, I too would like to know why my reason stood out to you from the Loop voters.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 2)
I would assume Oz qualifies as human, but I guess the hosts might not consider him as such if he's using a werewolf power or something. The Mayor is human, but his whole thing is he wants to become a demon, so who knows.sig wrote: ↑Tue Feb 06, 2018 2:44 pm That was bloody.
Timmer being killed isn't bad but it isn't great. It all depends with the Indies how ppl play them. How's the mayor not human and aren't wearwolfs technically human?
I think it's safer to assume spike hit a non civ.
Someone (Mac?) Mentioned mafia killing low poster, this is true but jack is also a high speed player so it could be more along that logic then the clearing out inactive.
It should also be noted that Drusilla can defect from the baddie team, so in theory all but three players can win together.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Night 1)
I wish Lorab had spoiler tagged all of that. I mean, I'm familiar front and back with the whole series, but for someone who isn't pretty much every plot point is spoiled in there. Also I voted the Mayor because he was just really fun.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 1)
My first game was Heroes, which was also Dom's first game. I had to go look at Pixar Mafia to verify that I was in it, because I have virtually no memory of that game (sorry SVS

Anyway, I'm going to vote for Loop because they've participated in the game without contributing, which is a step worse than completely no-showing, imo. Also because I have no suspicions.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 1)
But Loop has been here at least long enough to vote in the night thread. It's weird that she (he?) didn't take five seconds to acknowledge their vote in any way.MacDougall wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 10:59 pmI don't like votes on day 1 of players who aren't here. There's nothing more annoying than coming back to find you're lynched already.
So say you get busy or whatever and can't post for a couple days, you're bad?LoRab wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 10:44 pmI don't have a strong enough suspicion to outweigh not playing and/or bad.sig wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 10:37 pm Also I'm surprised juilets is voting for Jack, he's inactive now yes, but in general he's a strong townie. Lynching him for being inactive seems a tad preemptive.
Wilgy hasn't been as Wilgy like, but that's not a reason to vote for him.
linki: That also seems like a meh reason to vote for someone.
If Loop were playing, I'd feel differently.
IF they hadn't voted in the night vale pole, for a choice which is not likely civ and also not a likely random choice, I'd feel differently. Hence why them and not Jack (hasn't posted at all, but also hasn't acted at all). To know the game is happening and not posting reads bad to me.
And, again, I'll change my vote if reason. But, um, this is kind of a close game on my tv.
Having said that, I don't find Lorab's other reason very convincing. When I'm a host, at least, I deliberately create polls where the choices have no thematic connection to any faction, so that discussion will be centered on who is pushing for what choice, rather than what those choices literally are. It's entirely possible that LC and BR are doing the same, or they could have flipped the choices so that House of Wax was the civvie option. It definitely feels like a stretch to go, "Well, that choice sounds like it would be a baddie option to me, therefore I think it's suspicious that anyone would pick it."

Why are you asking Ambray specifically?speedchuck wrote: ↑Sun Feb 04, 2018 5:59 pm I don't have time to catch up in this game tonight.
@Ambray, where should I vote?

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Day 1)
So far I've got moderate town reads on SVS and Sig, and I'm neutral on Lorab, Nutella, and Timmer. I can't really recall content from anyone else offhand, which is worrisome. I may vote a no-poster if it comes to it.

Re: Buffy the Vampire Slayer: At the Hellmouth (Night 0)
Spike doesn't have spiky hair. You may be thinking of Angel. His hair goes straight up and he's bloody stupid.
Anyway, I responded to Illy's name on the list because I was on a team with her in my very first Mafia game ever. I didn't look at the signup thread again after voting.
SVS and Sig are my only townreads so far, SVS because I think she's making some good efforts at scumhunting, and Sig because his throwing a bunch of questions and theories out there is vintage Sig.
