I didn't think it would be so dang hard to lynch the Circle.



Golden was my second choice of players to protect. But I'm glad I picked SVS. It was fun being teamed up with her and Tranq (again!) even if we were doomed.

It was NOT a mistake to kill Mac~ he was still dangerous to us even if he was not an SK. And we were not doomed by the Circle, we were actually Doomed by Lorab. She killed Typh, and blocked our Splints kill. She tanked us more than any other single player.

To be fair, i only passively killed Typh. He was trying to kill me. And I only knew about it because I was in the hall of mirrors and used the master thief power to learn his role. So really, it was hi own fault for trying to kill me.

Oh and whoever speculated that I'd invent a protection device was correct. An ionic photon blaster I think I called it. LC actually mentioned it in a thread. Anything I was targeted with would bounce back to the person who targeted me. Which is how typh died when he tried to kill me.

I also believe it's how Dom came to look targeted. He thought I had used the protection bubble, which would have protected both of us. But I think left the opening for me to be killed within square. But, turns out, I had miscounted how many days since I had used it so I had to switch items. Which I did late enough that Dom didn't see it in chat.

So, if I should die, here's my thoughts.

SVS could be Skittleshitz, which would mess with my own vote counting, so who knows how this will end.

And SVS could be the trickster, and we don't know what that means, so I don't know how my role will look. But know that I am civ. I know some of you know that. I know that some of you who are accusing me know that. And, if I die, I'm sorry that we weren't a better civ team. I'm not sure what else I could have done, but it is what it is.

The names I have names are the ones I think worth eyeing...

I really do think the statue was recruited by the civ cause.

Of the knowledged I've gained, I think SVS tried to kill Splints. There are other suspicions I had of those now dead that were also based on knowledge.

I am confident that not all of the lynch results were what they seemed. Whether by object or role, I'm not sure--but I believe more than one of them to be false.

I hope the civies win. I really, really do. And I hope I'm not lynched this round. Because I want that win.

linkitis: I don't know what sort of vote manipulation SVS has, so I can't know that. I just want as many votes as possible on SVS because I think she's bad and I don't want to die, which will likely assure a civ loss.

And you are misreading what I said. In addition to other, less likely, possibilities (which I still accept are possible), I think that you could have made a deal with him under the belief he was civ and/or before you had a vendetta against circle. With the latter, I think that if you made a deal, you wouldn't back out on it even if you came to regret the decision.

I also think it's possible that he made a deal as Circle, knowing that you believed him to be civ, even though he believed you to be Witherdeath, in order to forge a power between the 2 baddie powers. Actually, that totally sounds like something Tranq would do.

I don't. I'm only confident about one person. That's why I'm pushing for the outcome we can be sure of instead of the one we can't.

But Draconus asked me what would be next based just on where things are at now. It is really very contingent on what the deal is with SVS. And in reality, it will depend on things like more isos etc... I haven't read back on you at all, because today the time I have had spare has been focussed on figuring out what I think about the tranq/SVS situation. I focussed my efforts that way because of how sure I am that one of them tried to kill splints.

I get that. But it's frustrating because I don't want to be lynched and because I want the civs to win and I know that lynching a civ (me) will be a bad thing. And I can relate on focusing efforts.

I also believe that SVS tried to kill splints. I have reasons for that belief.

I'm curious because it's not true. And because my main accusors throughout this game I highly suspect are bad, and I wonder why you (whom I assume to be civ) would follow their accusations so easily.

And it's not that hard to look at the list of players and take off the list of names of people I suspect to some degree or other and see who is left. I don't need to name civs.

And, as I've said a few times, I don't know who are the baddies. I agree that there are likely 2 circle and 1 Witherdeath. But with the possibility of recruitment, or being wrong on numbers, then I accept that there could be a 4th baddie. Hence why I said that there are probably 3, but there could be 4.

There are 2 of you that I feel pretty sure are bad (you and Tranq). I know I am good. The others are question marks to me, the ones I've named with pings, and the others penciled in as civs.

And forgot to answer the first part. Yes, there are 8 people. There are a few I mostly trust, in addition to myself, who I have on my civ list. I'm assuming probably 3, but maybe 4 baddies depending on recruitment. 2 of you strike me as at the top of my list as suspicious. The others I don't have a solid thing on, just pings, or lack of reason to trust, and (as I have now said several times), I haven't had time to reread them to see if that makes me feel different about the level of my feelings about them.

And because I think he's fabricating a case against me that just isn't there. But he's painting my actions in a tone that is thoughtfully accusatory and descriptive as bad so that they sound like evil actions.

For instance, my posts against Timmer he portrayed as bussing Timmer. In fact, they were making a case against someone I believed to be bad.

He knows my game better than that. He can read me better than that. I don't think he's misguided, I think he's evil.

I've suspected people throughout this game. But in the last 48 hours, with Tranq and SVS going after me and you jumping on the bandwagon (for evil or good purposes, I don't know), and SVS continually questioning me when she knows full well that I will respond to pretty much anything I read that's posted in my direction, well yeah, it's true. I only have so much time in a day to devote to playing games. If I'm needing to use that time to answer posts, then, no, I'm not going to have time to build cases.

Well yes. Sorry if you don't like my list of suspects. I have not had BTSC with many players in the game, so have not been able to gain a breadth of knowledge about others to gain/lose trust/suspicion through that means.

I realize that the statue could have been recruited by circle. I don't think he was. But I recognize the possibility that I'm wrong.

And I do know different--that I am a civ. And that is a reason to not think that I am circle.

And I'm not going to answer the ethical argument that you're making against me--because I don't think it's true that I would do that. And I don't think that you really believe it, either.

@SVS: I'm not making cases because I'm defending myself. And I need to vote out of self preservation. And I am much more confident in the fact that you are bad than any of them.

I'm not sure. I think Golden's trust in Sorsha may be misplaced--I think she could be bad. TH seems less and less likely to be good. And by we you mean the baddies? Because momentum is something that one looks for when one is trying to control a lynch and create a lynch train. Which is generally not something civies do.

I did not imply that. I simply reminded people that roles are not the only way through which vote manipulation can happen. And that I like Chinese Food and have made other good choices in life.

I am not Scrippleskitz. I am not any baddie role.

And this is really looking more and more like baddies (who know my game well) are working together to try to get a lynch train against someone they know full well is a civ. And that the civs are falling for it.

SVS is a one-woman team at this point. Timmer had 3 teammates who helped him get off the poll. If he only had 2, another 3rd player would've gotten a PM asking them to take Timmer off the poll. I agree with you about the rest just trying to work out the numbers. I'm not sure why Lorab is cleared by some. I'd always rather lynch original baddie over recruit - so I guess my lynch options would look Lorab > SVS > Dom

Not right now. I agree with you that we need to get on the same page though. But lets not just jump into one choice... discussion is what is needed.

I am really thinking tranq might be a good option. He is pushing one paricular narrative very hard when I think multiple potential scenarios are open..

I think we should be treating all of these as options. If SVS is bad and is the trickster, there is no reason for me to assume Cabal is down to one.

I have been believing tranq and SVS are a team for a while. Could LoRab be circle? I think it is possible, but I'm not as convinced...

Also, there is just the reality for me that every single person left in the game falls inside what I would call my circle of trust and so at this point I reocgnise I could be wrong about anyone and that includes Sorsha and Draco.

Understandable. I'm just terrified that lynching Tranq will just be a repeat of the Bass and Matt scenarios. And if that's the case, we lose. Also, why turn the lynch on someone who's willing to vote someone he thinks is Circle? Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the Cabal. I just think we stand a better chance of winning against the Cabal in the end, especially if Scripple is still alive.

And sorry for this quad post. I'll add one final thought here to avoid 5 in a row. I believe Lorab has been a bit too careful to avoid any sort of suspicious activity. What makes me think this is her quick-draw on the "you have no evidence on me" card every time she comes under fire. To me this just screams baddie. So no matter which team she's on, I think she'll be a good candidate. I'm more convinced that she's circle, though, based on current numbers and suspicions. Putting a placeholder vote on her now so I don't forget later.

It's not playing a card. It's more that people have said my name and haven't really made a case. It doesn't give me much to defend. And, the fact is, that's how I defend myself as a civ. And all the quotes you pulled, are me defending myself as a civ. And they were single sentences within larger defenses.

And the eye me all you want and saying I'm civ thing is just what I do. You haven't played with me enough to know that. But it's what I always do. And it got to the point where I did it enough, that people suspected me when I didn't do it. So, I've just continued to do it. It's why I twirl and have a twirling smiley.

Yeah, I'm going to be a little redundant if people keep saying that I'm bad and not giving reasons that are accurate or helpful.

You're not willing to lynch Tranq because you think he's good and don't want to lynch a civ because if we lynch a civ, then we won't win (we being the civs, in case someone was going to question that). But you're willing to lynch me, despite the fact that you have no idea if I'm bad, and the result of which will be a civ lynch.

Also, it's frustrating when people are totally wrong about you and/or are falsely making a case against you. So, some of my language may be terse.

The deal i made with SVS is one of the better moves i made this game actually. She cannot win anymore, so the only thing she wants is revenge for MM. Which means dead Circles and i agree with that. Yes, I've come to trust Dom and have been pretty open about that. Is it 100%? No. I didn't recruit him, so I don't know for sure. But I have reasons to believe that he is being truthful about being a civ.

I can't help when I begin to find people suspicious. Sometimes, it's because of something someone else first notices. And I didn't back off Timmer, there were other things being discussed. Also, he was off the poll. Also, I discussed that fact.

And are you really saying you'd be less suspicious of me if I hadn't become suspicious of Timmer and TH? So, I actively take part in lynching/trying to lynch 2 players on the team, and because you have decided that I'm on that team, I clearly threw them both under the bus, instead of being a civ who was suspicious of them and wanted to get rid of the team? I'm not sure I even understand your logic there.

Also, I'm suspicious because I've defended Dom (whom you don't know the allegiance of). And suspicious because I went against 2 other teammates after you think I completely ignored them in the thread throughout the game until that point. So, which is it? Am I suspicious because you think I defend teammates or because you think I bus them?

And interactions in the thread mean nothing. Not interacting doesn't mean not mentioning or not considering.

I agree with you about the rest just trying to work out the numbers. I'm not sure why Lorab is cleared by some. I'd always rather lynch original baddie over recruit - so I guess my lynch options would look Lorab > SVS > Dom

Timmer has atleast 2-3 teammembers left. If it isn't Sorsha, then given his behavior Dom would make the most sense and as i think you and Dom are on the same team, that means you aswell. It's also possible you are civ and wrong about Dom. Or you are Circle and are playing him. Either way, my suspicion of you isn't set in stone and you helping to lynch a Circle member today could clear things up.

Itis also possible that I'm civ and right about Dom, lol. As I've said, I think Dom is civ aligned. I know I am a civ. Anyway, I will likely vote TH. I fee like he's talking in circles and that he is missing things in the thread and coming to conclusions that just don't make sense (like that he's the one being protected by gollum--which really makes little logical sense) which doesn't seem in character for him. I feel like he's spewing whatever comes to mind in hopes of saving himself.

As for Matt and Dom, I think they both got caught up in the argument, to be honest. I think they were both talking at the other without really listening and that it clouded both of them from seeing reality. And both suffered from remembering what they wanted to remember instead of what the conversation between them had been (which was probably somewhere between the 2 perceptions). I also think they were somewhat baiting each other into reactions, whether intentionally or not.

Although taking a look at them now to answer your question, I remembered that there is a seemer type object (it has seemer in the name...don't know if I can legally name items or not). Which means that there could be more than one player who has been lynched and did not appear as they truly are. I had, quite honestly, completely forgotten that.

To me, preventing the creation of a serial killer seems important. If we lynch the wrong person (if the watched person is not SVS) then we will have an extra kill at night and at this point in the game that seems really dangerous!

I was asking about the hall of mirrors because I thought maybe that's where timmer is and not the tribunal. I don't want to underestimate the numbers on his team but maybe it isn't as many as we think. It doesn't sound like they even attempted a kill on their last night which could be because there was no one near. But I don't know. It's most likely the tribunal, I'm just trying to look at other angles.

I'm pretty sure he's at tribunal. Or at least was yesterday. Don't have map in front of me so don't know if he could be moving between the 2.

I'm not sure. I think Golden's trust in Sorsha may be misplaced--I think she could be bad. TH seems less and less likely to be good. Possibly Splints--need to go and read back, I know I had some eyebrow raising thoughts about her earlier, but I can't remember why right now. I have no read on Draconus, and have no read on him.
