*vote FH*

Nothing has changed my mind. I find her more suspicious than the case against Epi. Although, I wouldn't mind looking at him later. I just think FH is bad more.

Oh, wonderful host, MP: Was the lynch a tie?

I think it's safe to assume that Timmer is not on LT's team and that LT was fine with having Timmer lynched yesterday. How many votes did FH have yesterday? I think Dom brought up that LT didn't want to vote for FH because they are potentially team mates? That's an interesting idea...that's why I would like to know how many votes FH ended up with. The problem here, of course, is role secrets. There are so many of them, and we have no idea what most of them are. We do know for sure that one of the non civvie roles starts each lynch with -3 votes. It's possible that other baddies have vote manipulations in their role.
I think she had two. I could EASILY be wrong, but I think FH had two votes.
If LT had voted here that would've made it three... which could force a tie if something is up with Timmer's votes (clearly SOMETHING happened) because of DH's -1 he had next to his name.

That whole exchange was excellent! I am actually pretty shocked that FH confessed in the way she did - you are a good lawyer :D I find it very odd that FH would choose to read the green book vs the purple book. :ponder:
I then called her out for this post because the second I read that it screamed baddie LT because she doesn't usually get "pinged" by me for things like this.
Flyin' High wrote:And I want to add, DH may be onto something with LT. Like Kate and SVS can read each other, LittleTiger and I can read each other very well. And the fact that she is immediately jumping on the "FH is sketchy--let's kill her, rawr!" bandwagon pings me a ton. :eye:
Then LT follows up with this which to me felt like she was backing down because she knew I was right and didn't want to push it any farther:
LittleTiger wrote:My eye is still on FH, tbh. Although, I am not ready to vote her atm. Her explanations about the books rang true to me.
I trimmed the quotes to save space--but yeah, I definitely wasn't seeing a civvie LT yesterday. I had 3 suspicions CBK/Timmer, Trice and possibly The Truth by potential connection to Trice, and then the LittleTiger ping which I called her out on. Of those, two I'd personally taken the time to build cases on and rather than jumping on someone else's case and ignoring my own, I went with my own.

Not to mention I voted for Bea (also a resident) and have been going hard after CBK/Timmer who I think is a Resident. I'm not entirely sure what happened with the lynch and I still need to go back through the thread to obtain the voting order since it appears no one got a screencap this time.
I don't think you're a Resident...
FH, who did you vote for, I can't remember.
And I don't recall LT voting for you either. I found the way she reacted to you very strange once I caught up after going to work and such (Am I wrong on the timing of that, I just remember going, "Lt, you believe that story?!"). I think your story is bogus and I think you slipped up by reading from the wrong book, the one that is NOT your team's. I think that the way LT reacted to you was feigned. Trying to distance herself. I don't think she was EVER going to really vote you. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. Her BS vote for Rey kind of did it in for me, now that I'm thinking about it. Her vote for Rey was SO weird. She just threw *suspicion* anywhere, but if my rough counts in my head are roughly correct ( :haha: ), LT didn't have very many votes in the poll. Unless she somehow knew there'd been some sort of manipulation, which just from my feeling of the thread as a caught up, there must of been because I thought Timmer had gotten the most votes, followed by DH (but DH had that minus symbol next to his name, right?) why wouldn't she just vote for one of them? She instead threw her vote onto someone with no votes (I think he had no votes, I'm no good with keeping SS and such, I'm going off of memory of reading at 2 AM here :p) when she already had established suspicions of other people.
Now why would baddie LT do that?
Well, voting for DH would've been an even bigger NO U. Voting for Timmer? I don't know? I don't get why she didn't just do that. But why did't she vote for you, FH?
Because I think you're on the same team.

That's all there is to it, but I understand that when you keep lynching civs it's hard for you to tell what's actually worth being suspicious of. Like maybe Dom arbitrarily trying to make cases that won't stick off semantics.

To be entirely fair, the role reveals from the book do force me to re-evaluate you at least to some degree. Yes, I agree with people saying this is your civ game, but like I explained early you (everybody) play(s) civ game as an indy. That's the only way you can win.

It's almost like I'm smart or something. Not like I'm an electrical engineer or anything.

For the 3rd time, nobody is actually stupid enough to copy-paste things from a btsc chat room. Anybody who did that, would be doing 10000 other nooby mistakes and it would be obvious they are bad. You can even copy-paste that, if you want.

Now, if we look alll the way back at that Bea lynch, the one successful one we've had, there was an idea floating about that her teammates voted rabbit to save her. If we work on my personal belief that if the baddies were actually morons they'd be dead by now, I think maybe 1 person and no more on the team would have done that. I don't know whether that one person is CBK (or whoever replacement was) or FH. But I also think FH let slip her role, and it's a civ one. I will find the quote in a sec here.
Where the hell do I start with this?
First of all, thank you for being condescending. As if anyone who has ever made a mistake like that is SO below you. It happens. Often enough that semantics are often a pretty good tip off in Mafia. I don't see you arguing with the BWT suspicion over the "probably" (which was weird for the record :srsnod: ). Sounds like it's only an invalid motivation for suspicion if it's directed at you.
Secondly, I could care less what you're fucking job is. Your profession does not make you smarter than me or anyone else here and I won't have you pretend like it does.
Third, interestingly enough, you seem to be following in-line with FH and LT. . . interestingly enough, I think they are on the same team. I did not see the LT suspicion (until her vote for rey which was totally random)
Have a nice day, electrical engineer.

Thank you DH. Really. :) I'm sorry I've given you such a hard time. You're not completely off the hook yet! But you're looking better to me.
triceratopzeuhl wrote:

Good point.
If you're such a not-noob why didn't you already realize this?
LittleTiger wrote:
So then why did he slip in the "I am going to vote LT"?

Again, I was not the first to comment that his analyses served no purpose at this point in the game. Later, maybe it will help. So, I comment.... and BOOM! DH says THAT is his case... the fact that I commented. Something that others have also done.

Now, here you are joining him. I am sorry, but you cannot tell me that his analyses has any bearing on shit right at this point.

Maybe there is something to the fact that YOU are jumping on DH's bogus case. I mean, how convenient, right? Easy vote. DH has even said that he is trying to stop "sheeple votes" - so clearly he is just stirring the pot. Yet you jump on it.

Except that all it has done is distract from actual discussion of the actual possible baddies. But, maybe that is the plan.

My eye is still on FH, tbh. Although, I am not ready to vote her atm. Her explanations about the books rang true to me.

Instead, I am now very interested in reywaS. I think he has played this game long enough that him jumping on DH's "case" makes me very suspicious of him.

*vote reywaS*
This is when I *saw* the LT suspicion... like WTF , but I have been proven wrong about that.

S~V~S wrote:YES~!!!!

Bye LT, BIH Grey 1 :)

And i would feel best about Faraday or Devin coming back. They went on Night One which doesn't make them more likely to be civ, but i did not have a good feeling about a few of the others.
I agree. Maybe Illy, maybe chaindeath (less likely on chaindeath, I just found his (her?) third person charming) <3. I did not get the warm fuzzies from Rabs.

Good job guys. I think we're on the right track with these lynches... FH wouldn't be bad next IMO, especially seeing as how she defended FH and definitely did not see herself dying as I don't think she even had more than a few votes, right?

Which brings me to Timmer.... do you know how you didn't die? If I'm not mistaken you had the most votes at the end of the poll (I was keeping a rough count in my head... I could be wrong)

It was a dumb mistake. But I owned up to it because it's honestly what happened.

And then as for choosing whether or not to reveal what I learned, based on the one role I learned about, I made the decision that the Frank Zappa and the civvies as a whole would benefit from knowing that by him using his power at night, he can be recruited to the Residents or worse, killed.

I thought that was helpful to share. If it wasn't then I honestly apologize. I was trying to do good not bad. :(

Linki: As for Trice, he's on my list of people to read through today. I think it's strange that he's been going after SVS for so long for something that I do not think had evil intentions (her expressing the concern over DF being the target for a kill as opposed to someone else). @Dom: There was over 48 hours between me choosing the two books I wanted and then deciding which book to read--so yes, me forgetting and making a foolishly hasty decision is totally possible. It's not like I made the connecting then forgot it two minutes later.

OK, well her decision to publish Zappa doesn't incriminate her as much as reading the Green book in general. :p It's possible that Zappa could go baddie, so that's kind of good to know.

I'm not trying to hide anything.
Wait
So, you made the connection after you picked the books... but before you read?
timmer wrote:Hmm.

A baddie FH choosing to read civvie secrets would make perfect sense, but why make them public? Better to keep them secret, I would think? So, make the Zappa secrets public as a way to dodge suspicion? Maybe FH guessed that the other books would go to prize winners etc. and it would come out that she had the civvie secret book?

If FH had kept the knowledge secret, I'd be inclined to call her a baddie on the spot. But choosing to make it public makes things hazy. I've got to think on it some.
Seriously?
I don't think I'd reveal civvie secrets to the thread. Not a very civv thing to do. Although, maybe it isn't as damning because of what was revealed.
Still, I don't like this one bit, FH.

13. Rabbit (11th Vote for Vomp)
16. FH (13th Vote for Vomp)
17. BWT (14th Vote for Vomp)

Dunno. Discuss?

Linki@ Dom I think it's certainly a possibility. I think the closeness of their votes each time warrants scrutiny. If Rey is right and looking at the votes will lead to catching a baddie, then looking at the group of votes might lead to catching a group of baddies.
Are these just consecutive votes?
That could be... hours apart?

Take it up with FH, it's her voting order. Given that you voted Vomp for 3 and 4, It really does not change much as you are one of the outliers.
If you are going to do a fact based analysis you should do your own fact finding. Fh is probably the last person I'd trust to do that for you.

Your analysis to me was a string of unconnected thoughts that others guessed what it meant and then you briefly and vaguely explained. I don't see what you're really trying to say. It seems to me you're saying a lot of nothing in hopes someone will make something of it and run with it.

I don't see how they were unconnected. I labeled them, explained it after I posted, etc etc. I don't see again how two days of vote analysis is nothing. I don't see how I was vague in my explanation, seeing as I took a full big ass post to explain it after my smaller post explaining it. I don't see how presenting information in the hopes that someone will see something strange and create a case with it is odd.

I'm just not seeing how anything you're saying translates to odd.
"LT, Aces Boats.
The Truth, Trice, Rabbit
Trice, FH, Rabbit
Aces, Kate
Kate, Boats

LT is in a Group with Aces, and Boats (1 Group Total)
Aces is in a group with Boats, LT, and Kate (2 Groups Total)
Boats is in a Group with Aces, LT, and Kate (2 Groups Total)
The Truth is in a Group with Rabbit and FH (1 Group Total)
Trice is in a group with Rabbit, Truth and FH (2 Groups Total)
FH is in a group with Trice and Rabbit (1 Group Total)
Rabbit is in a group with FH, the Truth, and Trice (2 Groups Total)

Aces and Boats both appear in a group with Kate
Trice and Rabbit appear in 2 groups together (one with FH, one with The Truth)"

Seems pretty unconnected and vague to me
That's literally what yo usaid
That's confusing

Because it's happened before. I've played a LOT of games, and I've seen it more than once.

But I see your point.

I am still willing to give you the benefit of the doubt, maybe I see something others are missing.

Hell, at this point whatever suspicion you want to follow, follow it. I'm just considerably tired of the results we've been getting with the current strategy.
...
Bandwagons?
You're still on about bandwagons?
Really?
DH. Lynch one, yes that was a relative bandwagon.
Day two, we lynched a baddie. there was a bandwagon on rabbit, not Bea.
Day three, we followed up on the results of day two. Wasn't Droopy one of the Rabbit voters?
Yeah that's a follow up on a result. Not really a bandwagon
He also looked strange. Or am I getting my days mixed up? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I read it all in a few hours, really.
Then day four, was a realtive bandwagon. Yes. Vomp was acting incredibly strange for days on end, though.
Please, explain to me where people aren't bringing up suspicions and following up on results and facts.
I think you're overdoing the bandwagon stuff. I don't think you're completely wrong (relative bandwagons, bandwagons on people who didn't get lynched when the person lynched was a baddie)

so yeah.
