Re: [END] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
LOL, part of our plan for controlling the lynches was to ensure that the negative voters voted for Residents. As soon as I saw that Boomslang, Boats and DH all were listing me as a probable suspect, I was actually forced to start acting a bit bad, to keep their votes in line.DisgruntledPorcupine wrote:Timmer was so bad it hurt. Can you defend yourself any better? Especially after night 5?
Again, not an accusation. It's just that presupposing CBK had a great reason to vote for rabbit8 on day 2 is a little baffling, and if you are on the block, it's a lousy defense.

But what else can I say? I mean, this goes back to my first post in the entire game, what else can I say about CBK's vote? I know I'm not bad, and so she must have had good reason to vote him.

Re: [DAY 11] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
Yes, but we're back to the blinders thing. Everyone looked at CBK's vote as one thing and one thing only; an attempt to save Bea. No one bothered to consider ANY other reason for that vote, in other words, no one considered that CBK may have actually been onto something with rabbit's play and voted accordingly. Again, I can't say, I can't know the thought process there. But no one ever considered it. But now we see that Rabbit was bad, and CBK was right in voting him, and still people are thinking only one thing... must have been to save Bea. Well, it wasn't, and the vote was a good one. Why no one wills ee that is frustrating to me.DharmaHelper wrote:He voted for *a* baddie.... In a game with many baddies.

My predecessor, who voted for rabbit8, who was... a baddie? It's time people realized that CBK has his reasons, whatever they were, and they were CORRECT. i can't honestly believe that vote is coming back into consideration AGAIN.Boomslang wrote:
Maybe because I went after you based on the evidence accrued by your predecessor, CBK? I would like to point that I've called a lot of the lynches correctly; yeah, I went on the early bandwagons that got civs, but so did everyone.

Re: [DAY 11] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
I've been pinged a bit by boomslang since I subbed into the game, but can't put my finger on why.
boats has also been a bit odd, but these are players I'm unfamiliar with, so I've been hesitant to pursue those leads until i get a better feel for them.
I lean more towards INH being a civ at this time. Generally he's more talkative and (forgive me, INH) sort of agitated as a baddie. Cool, more quiet inh tends to be good.

Re: [DAY 11] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
But there are roles that block, and roles that redirect. You chose to ignore all of those possibilities. You made a grey situation black and white. it's not that you were wrong that makes me think you're bad, but that you refused to see the other facets of the Herman puzzle, you just flat out ignored them and stated unequivocally that it was Epig. For whatever reason it is, you needed us to be convinced it was him.
ETA: Oh. LOL, okay I clearly did not know that.

Re: [DAY 11] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
There was significant evidence that it was Epig, or Aces, or DP. Some of us were pointing out (quite correctly, I might addDharmaHelper wrote:
How is that odd?
There was a significant amount of evidence pointing in that direction, IMO.

Looking at the roles, I think I might know why.
• Residents Fanboy – Listens to no other music but The Residents and knows more about them than anyone else. The only thing he does not know is their true identities, and is incredibly desperate to, even going so far as to steal Mr. Skull’s previous red eyeball mask. Consequently, he is impervious to being affected by The Residents, and if he is targeted by of them he uncovers his targeter’s identity with what he believes to be perfect accuracy. In reality, his accuracy in determining his enemy in this scenario really is closer to perhaps forty, fifty, or sixty percent. Again, fifty is probably a safe bet for an accurate estimation.
Could it be that you are a Resident and you've tried to target Epig, to no avail? Thus, you figure he's this role and you wanted him gone since he would discover your identities eventually?
In fact, weren't there a couple of night posts with Residents appearing before Epig but not doing anything to him?
Oh, DH...

Re: [DAY 8] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
But you have? You are on both shortlists. You, Aces and Epig. One of you is Herman.
Epig has defended himself quite a bit. It doesn't make him truthful, but it indicates that he's trying.
Aces is barely here, which makes him hard to read.
but you, knowing you are on the shortlist, are posting, but not really talking about it. That, to me, is more shady than either of the other two.

Re: [DAY 7] Avant-Garde Mafia 2
What are people's feelings about this "pick someone you trust" vote, which is apparently not a lynch? I haven't played many MP games, and whichever I did play were awhile now. Is this likely something special that he is going to do for a player? Is it nefarious? The portal ended up seeming exactly like how the portalscope described it, so maybe this is legit too?
And DP, considering that people have reduced the total number of players who could be Herman to about 3 names, and you are on it, maybe it's not the time to be flippant
And finally, "eff you buddeh" to whichever Resident took a shot at me.

@FH, I really can't say anything else about CBK's vote, I don't know why she thought the way she did, so can't answer for it.
But I notice instead of suggesting trice as a better lynch target than yourself, who made what looked like a slip last night and who has been going ater SVS for silly reasons apparently (I've got to read back on that), you are using the convenient placement of my predecessor's vote to suggest me instead. Why not Boomslang, whose vote is equally poorly situated?
