Also, hello, Illyria, you seem popular, which is nice, I guess?
As I've said elsewhere, welcome, Zexy! I'm thankful you came over to check us out for the Championship scrimmage game. Hope you enjoy it here and stick around!Zexy wrote:Hello, everyone! The name's Zexy. Started playing mafia in Bulbagarden Forums, which is a Pokemon community, by late 2013. I really like the game, so when I learned about the Mafia Universe website, I started playing there as well. Through that, I found this site and decided to stop by and say hi
Looking forward to meeting more of you!
Glad to have you back!Illyria wrote:Ricochet wrote:I've heard legends...hiya.

Legends???? Oh my dear and fluffy lord. What nonsense have they been telling people.
SVS and LA! <3
LA have you graduated college yet? (please say no I am feeling so old already today).
Hi there MP, I am glad to be back.
Welcome back, illy!!! It's so awesome to see you.Illyria wrote:I have to assume that there are only a handful of people who remember me here, so hey there.
Yeah, I think you're right. Also, I told Wilgy already and am not sure if he passed this info along, but we must go to Emerald Tavern next time; Annie and I went there on Sunday and it was awesome. Tons of awesome games on sale and in their library (to test out), really awesome and helpful staff, and good food/drink.DrWilgette wrote:Oops, I think we were all too tiredMovingPictures07 wrote:Absolutely. Hello, Kaeru!!! Hope you enjoy it here. Welcome!Kaeru wrote:Hi everyone, my name is Kaeru! I like frogs and drawing faces on things that are far too small or large for their head.

Welcome, Diiny!Diiny wrote:Hi, I'm Diiny, but my friends called me Diiny
Joined RYM last year and started playing Mafia in march this year and quickly became cripplingly addicted. Signed up here for the crossover game and have played with a couple of Syndicateers before on RYM, but might stay for a proper syndicate game to see how you guys do things!
Looking forward to the game, playing with you guys in the future and generally indulging my addiction at the detriment of all other aspects of my life.
Over 800 posts = new? I don't think so. :PScotty wrote:Hi guys. I'm new here, I guess. Nice to meet everyone
Welcome to The Syndicate! Hope you enjoy it here!Synonym wrote:G'day, I'm Synonym.
Physically I come to you from sunny Australia. Electronically I was lured here by a number of your members (Long Con, fingersplints, SVS, MetalMarsh, and I probably forgot a few others too).
I've been playing mafia for a little while now. The sites I predominantly play on don't have vast volumes of games, however I have enjoyed myself.
In my spare time I enjoy fending off spider attacks, drinking beer and long romantic walks on the beach.
It definitely changes the dynamic of the game. :Psig wrote:It will be interesting to play with the vote is final thing, I have only played with changeable votes so far.
Ricochet wrote:I probably won't know how to adapt to playing those.I'll be eaten alive by the players who come from other sites and are way more familiar with it.
Indeed, I've played a handful of games with changeable votes, but more typically they are final once cast.Ricochet wrote:The switching lynch votes (or changeable votes, as we call it) system depends on the Host of each individual game. Usually it is not implemented.sig wrote:Good to see you again as well, I liked the Syndicate people I saw on JTM so I figured I would try this out as well.
I've played one game on JTM, one game on Mafia Scum though that was awhile ago and two on GTF.
I find it interesting you don't allow meta gaming or switching lynch votes right?
Hey there, sig! It's so good to see you here! I look forward to playing with you as well.sig wrote:I'm new glad to be here have played a few games on other forums, but not many. Looking forward to playing with y'all soon.
I'm in.Missing Person wrote:That's...beautiful.
if we ever get in a lover's conversation in a game, we have to orchestrate that.
And then when we aren't, still try to make it look orchestrated.
That way no one will ever know if we're in cohoots or not.
Missing Person wrote:I wonder how confusing it would be to us if we called each other OGMP and NMP (New MP), flip flopping between sites?
Maybe since JTM comes out of the FGC (mostly) we can be called O.MP and N.MP there, and OGMP and NewMP here?
This is great to hear!Missing Person wrote: I definitely think we have the potential for a good cross-site relationship, you guys are doing great on JTM.
I agree completely.Missing Person wrote: I think that's one of the better parts of the Championships, is building bridges between sites where we can exchange info and and build bonds that improve the game as a whole.
Funny thing is TGG got interested in mafia on our site through the first GoC even though he was a member of our site way before that (SRK back when we were playing there), and signed up a couple games later and stuck around.
Also, Gamer Dude was in my game in the first GoC, and signed up to JTM during the nomination period of this year's championships.
So this is a great way to build up communities and players. I only really knew of one other Mafia community before the GoC and that was Smashboards; ironically, they were put into my game as well.
JTM MP and TS MP? Or maybe when Missing Person is playing here, I can be MP and he can be JTM MP, and when I'm playing there, he's MP and I'm TS MP or MP07? It's a thought.Golden wrote:We can simply distinguish you by using opposite adjectives. Not sure who is who, you'll have to call dibs. For instance:
Old MP and new MP
Important MP and unimportant MP
Mean MP and nice MP
Loud MP and quiet MP
The MP who sucks and the MP who doesn't suck (Rob from Survivor reference anyone?)
Or, we could just call you by your originating site. That means Missing Person is called Jesus.
Missing Person wrote:Well, now MovingPictures is on JTM, so we have to think of two ways to abbreviate each other's names distinctively on two different sites.
That's a good point; however, it may be more complicated in our case. I just always call them Snowy and Daisy... their names are more easily broken up. :Pfingersplints wrote:Welcome Missing Person! Glad to see you are here!
This isn' the first dublicate type name we have had. SnowDog/Spacedaisy for one. We will work it out I am sure.
I know, right? That was truly awesome.G-Man wrote:Aww, thanks. I remember your baddie team's win was about as implausible as the other baddie team's epic meltdown. Hmm. Your name isn't ringing any bells for me. Did I know you under a different name? Sadly, it seems every place I ever played mafia became a deserted wasteland. Hopefully I'm not cursed.Metalmarsh89 wrote:

Wow, time flies alright- I'm pretty sure Secret Mafia 2 was at least four years ago. I don't recall it being much fun for me though. Then again, I was the idiot who made the game structure far more complicated than it needed to be.fingersplints wrote:Yea, secret mafia 2 was fun.
To everyone else, thanks for the warm welcomes. Seeing so many familiar names really brings back fond memories.
That would be fantastic!Golden wrote:Hello everyone![]()
