@MP basically I don't see any of the three cases I'm trying to see which is the least worst. I'm still looking over Wilgy's posts, but from what I see he votes for Epi which is eye brow raising and apparently Sloonie is silenced. However, I don't put to much stock in the silenced argument mainly since it is very easy to WIFOM that.

Scotty has gut pinged me as bad,

I'm also kind off tinfoiling MP and one of the four who he said he is tinfoiling to be bad. :ponder:

Also why are the insanfied people spamming the thread? Seems kind off like a waste.
...You realize there are other players on that list right?

You don't have any suspicions of your own you wish to vote and/or propose that we should vote?

So I don't see a good case for Boomslang or Wilgy or A person. However, out of the three the Wilgy thing seemed to have come out of nowhere? His vote for Epi seems to be the only thing agaisnt him. For now I'm voting for Boom when I go back and read if anyone can tell me what exactly the case on Wilgy is that would be great.

Because at this point it feels to me like you're arguing semantics and I don't get the impression you really believe I am bad. I think you're using me and nitpicking minor points that are either inaccurate or I've already addressed (and you're saying I'm being not genuine, which I can't further defend because it's a mere gut interpretation) to make it appear as though you care about determining my alignment (i.e., you're town), but I don't see any reason to believe any of that is true.
I missed your post about dropping POE.
I'm going to be honest, I'm a bit peeved that you are expecting me to perfectly remember every post you've made when you have made almost 400 posts. Also, this is a post that is a giant NO U. I am asking questions that aren't particularly scathing about your motivations and posts. It's not about semantics. I don't understand why you are spinning my questions to minimize their weight.

I doubt Jay is faking a curse.
IDK where to vote. boom is making no sense. MP's frustration seems genuine.
Sorry, you're right that it's unfair of me to assume you have a perfect working knowledge of all of the thread's posts, or even all of my posts because I know I've thrown a lot down.

I'm not spinning anything to minimize their weight; I just felt frustrated and am trying to pick your brain as well because I'm trying to figure out whether you're being genuine or not. I can't figure it out.

oh sorry I missed the part where I have over 350 posts
You have nearly 75 posts.

If I have 350, and both of our signal-to-noise ratio in our posts is low (say, 20%), then that means I still have 70 posts that have meaningful content in them, which is nearly as many as all of your in-game posts.

So I don't follow. It's not like I haven't been trying to solve the game.

Furthermore, you don't explain why a low signal-to-noise ratio makes me worthy of your vote. So why were you considering me?
I don't know why you'd assume only 20% of my posts have content when it's verifiably false, and I was considering you also because of your schizophrenic flip in character after day 1 (it's a game, it's not like you killed INH in real life or something). But you're only maybe top 5 at worst suspicions I have by now, and there aren't even that many baddies.
That's fair, I just was trying to expose what I thought was faulty logic.

Did you read my post? I said I leaned town on Epi because I didn't think his gimmick was doing any damage to the town effort. Beyond obfuscating his own alignment, of course.
Sloonei wrote:Why do you like Scotty avoiding the INH vote?
He had a correct read on INH and promoted that read in the thread. Had we followed that advice, it would've been profitable to the town effort. That's more town evidence than we have for most people at this point.

Also, voted the mini-market because food.
I did read it; I just don't understand how you interpret Epi's behavior as obfuscating.

I find your highlighted conclusion dubious. Accuracy does not make alignment.
Epi's posts have gotten much less obtuse as the game has gone on, I'll give you that much. So I'm stepping back from the idea of obfuscation for now. And I agree that accuracy does not make alignment. But he actively pursued other targets (Epi, BWT, JJJ) in thread instead of just saying he disagreed with the inh lynch. He could've done more late in the day, but he did offer some potential alternatives if others would've taken them.

Linki w/Golden: I don't necessarily think both are fake. But I think odds are high one is, given what we know about the roles.
Linki w/MP: Spinning my wheels here, but I'd say a mafia J could be pretending to help temper his high post count from yesterday. He came out swinging, establishing himself as a strong inquisitive force (see Scotty calling him the Spanish Inquisition, for crying out loud), and playing insanified lets him fade back a bit while retaining that impression.

Second linki: Ahh Blooper I want to post tooooo
That's all fair. Thanks for the response. I'll see whether I agree with that claim when ISO Scotty tomorrow (that's what I'm hoping to do anyway).

That's a logical conclusion. I'm not sure what I think of it. I think mafia members faking curses almost never happens, but it's possible. I've done it once before.
No, no, NO. Don't do this to me, man! This is the first notable thing you've said so far that I've disagreed with.

If you wouldn't put it past a mafia member, and you yourself have faked a curse, then why do you think it's a stretch for mafia members to do it?
Because it's unnecessarily risky. Most people don't play like I do.

I didn't say it was chaotic. I just don't find any value in timing accusations; I historically find them to be too inaccurate. When you get a chance, I'd be happy to hear your elaboration and/or what you're talking about re: Russ in Talking Heads.
I never responded to this post. Oops!

In Talking Heads, Russ popped in with his first post saying "Hey guys, sorry I'm late. I'm busy, but I'm just posting because the host warned me to not not post". I accused him of having BTSC, as that's where his potential warning came from. I don't remember if that was the case at all, but he did flip mafia. It's a little different than this one.

If you find this timing thing to be historically inaccurate, can you give me an example or two of someone else using a similar accusation and being wrong?
I did send him a text saying the game had started and detailing the punishment for non-voters since he was particularly busy RL during that game, so perhaps that's what he's referring to and it was a true statement. I don't know though.

I don't have the time to do that any time before EoD. I cannot even recall any games in which these kinds of accusations occur. I'll consider it though if you really think that'd be the wisest use of my time.
Your point was that it is historically inaccurate. A claim like that should have some evidence to back it up. If anyone else has a good example, I'd like to see it.

I wish I was more available to discuss it when you did have time, but that's not the case unfortunately.
I'll do some research. But considering I'm apparently in trouble today, that's not exactly my priority right now. I care to lynch people based on their posts in this game. I don't assign meaning to time-based teammate assertions, especially when there is no evidence of any mafia flip. If timmer or Boomslang were to be lynched for separately compelling reasons, then I would revisit your observation.

I'm serious about the timmer/Boomslang thing. Wish I had more time to chat though, but I've only been able to skim a bit.

Did you find Rob's reason compelling? If so, why didn't you try to convince me and others to vote otherwise? I'd say it's pretty easy and suspicious to come in after the fact and try to point the blame squarely at me.

Regarding my read of you, my gut keeps shifting back and forth between thinking you're genuine and not, so that's why you've been shuffling between very weak town and very weak mafia. I also started questioning why I was townreading you after Sloonei inquired me and I didn't feel I had that much reason to. I'm satisfied with the latter answer.

The former reads strangely to me. I wasn't around for the most part-- I worked mroe than I thought I would and ran out of data on my phone. I don't know that I would have voted INH. That's not the point. My point is that you seemed to have had a stronger feeling on Scotty, but voted for INH anyway. Your deflection of this topic onto myself is not a good look.

I am letting you all know that I am ill. I am barely keeping up wtih my games and I will be a bit subdued for a few days. I apologize in advance.
Well, clearly I didn't indicate how strongly I was feeling about either of them that effectively then, because that's not how I was feeling.
Except that I did, because that's the point of my rainbow list.
I am just saying that seems incongruent with your statement on Scotty.
You mean the one where I said 'you're bad'? Okay, I think I follow what you're getting at now.

I didn't have 100% conviction that Scotty was bad, I just thought that post of his looked particularly bad, so I threw down that statement (also wanted to see how he would respond to it).

I expressed my desire to lynch Scotty many times, but I felt stronger even if not much stronger conviction against INH. Not sure what else I can say but that.

To your credit, you didn't go there. You didn't provide a "reasonable perspective" either; you left your answer at its most basic: "I thought your accusation was b/s and it was a ping". It's not a thorough explanation, but it's also not one that looks made up. I can on some level appreciate the take-it-or-leave-it frankness.
This is a good point. I can believe that a baddie Dom would have engaged in the latter.
But I do see a lack of townie fire/spark in him and plenty of potential for manufactured content in his posts. I don't know. He could very easily be a mafia read; it was mostly a current gut-based assertion.
So, he gives reason to read me civ, but puts me as a weak mafia read next time he gives a rainbow.
