Also, LC, I want to say I totally get what you've been vocalizing re: thinking about me. I just was frustrated yesterday, and I apologize for that. It's been a stressful week, lol. And I know it's wrong, so. :P

But I mean, I get it. I've pulled some pretty crazy baddie gambits before. But the simple explanation for my behavior with regards to FZ., Bass, and Roxy was that I really WAS that overconfident. It actually was painful to bring up those quotes I dug up in response to you, to read some of them. Lol. I was just thinking, 'Oh, D2 MP...'

That's a good catch. Especially since I remember discussing briefly with Made yesterday FZ. v. Bass lynch and he said he'd prefer to lynch Bass since that's where the real case was coming from.

I'd like to hear Made's explanation on that.

And good point about Dom. I personally don't think I've been seeing Made's baddie game yet, but I am intrigued (mainly due to paranoia) why he's been following me so closely on Bass (though I suppose you could dump Snowy and Ambray in there, but I don't actively suspect any of these three).

I read through that dizzying number of posts yesterday only once, due to the massive volume in a short time. Although I could remember a number of people, including yourself, calling out Bass for an explanation, I couldn't remember if he had given one before the lynch just turned on FZ.

I'm not trying to "add" anything, I was trying to decide how I felt about your case on Bass when I knew his side.

Anyways, I voted Bass because there was one minute left and he already has the majority of the votes. His explanation sounds reasonable, but it also sounds like what a baddie would say if he slipped up. So I guess we'll find out.

Oh, okay. Fair enough. I suppose going back and trying to find it would be difficult, though one could just search Bass's posts. But I get it.

I have had pings from LC though. The way he keeps asking questions that otherwise have been answered multiple times and how he keeps trying to force subtle suspicion onto me without talking about anyone else doesn't strike me as genuine civvie LC baddie hunting.

I really don't like how players have piggybacked onto my case without adding anything to the discussion because it makes me super nervous, but I suppose I'm voting Bass. I don't really want to vote Snowy. And while some of what Made has said has pinged me, other times he's come across as completely genuine.

I'm here.

So... I still don't understand the miscommunication with Bass. But I am suspicious of players not really discussing much and just following me on it.

And Bass's recent posts really read genuine, which conflicts with where I would otherwise put my vote... Ugh.

Anyway, I'm sorry folks, I'm not trying to imply people aren't playing the game. I know most players have been posting and have been busy. I'm just venting frustration. I was hoping some real discussion would have happened by the time I got home this evening but I saw practically nothing was discussed, so that's mainly what I was referring to. Anyway. Like I said, I'll be back tomorrow. I look forward to hearing what people have to say.

If you think I'm bad, Dom, by all means -- get everyone else to vote for me. I obviously need to take a huge break from this game but I haven't exhibited the self-discipline to do so. I'm seriously freaking out about finals and a lot of other stuff. So I'll be back tomorrow. I don't know where I'll actually be voting, but I don't seriously intend on keeping my vote on myself. I just want to participate in discussion in this thread and I'm frustrated that everyone I'm asking questions to -- you, LC, BR, etc. seem to get annoyed or imply that I'm bad because I'm trying to engage players in talking about other players. Last I checked, that's how the game was played.

It's not arrogant, I'm just really frustrated at a lot of things in my life right now and I'm sure that's not helping but I'm also frustrated that it feels like I'm trying to start discussions that over half of the player list doesn't seem to care to even participate in.

Whatever, I'll vote myself, I've about had it with this game right now. I can always move it if I come back and feel less frustrated anyway.

Just seriously look at the thread. Most of the players aren't doing anything. It's frustrating because I keep trying to get discussion going on people. Even still, LC and others come in and don't even comment on whether they believe Bass slipped or anything.

Dom, you'd think you'd be able to read me after all the games we've played together, but apparently you can't.

My behavior in this game has been more blatantly my civvie game than almost any other game in recent memory, so I just don't understand why you're fixating on me and not discussing anyone else.

I'm not literally trying to bait everyone into going after just about anyone. NO ONE IS BADDIE HUNTING.

I will also ask again because the thread has been quiet today, and I need to leave and get some stuff done.

Conclusion: They are on a baddie team together.

I wish all baddie hunting was this easy.

Dom, that's a very good question. The way my mind started connecting the two was really off of FZ. first, because she at that point had made two posts where I was like, "huh?", and questioned her POV. I then noted almost simultaneously that Bass said he thought I was civvie and that in his catchup post he didn't mention FZ. at all but then tagged on a bit about FZ. in a separate post only seconds after I started questioning her more strongly. Even though Bass slipping comprised a substantial part of my case, and I then linked FZ. back to Bass by her refusal to say anything about him and then subsequent weirdness with him, in my mind I didn't really see them by that point as anything other than innately connected. So I wasn't really particular about which one would go first. It seemed more players were comfortable with voting FZ. I suppose there could have been a reason for that. I just wanted to make sure ONE of them got lynched, so I wasn't going to try to argue harder for one than the other. Does that make sense?

Frankly, I am still considering a Bass vote today. I understand he wasn't linked to FZ., but I still questioned him why he thought I was civvie, the ONLY reason he gave was because I must have had a reason for surviving the NK, then I immediately asked him about DF, and he said he had no read. It just doesn't make sense. I'm not manipulating that; it's exactly what happened. That's why I was so adamant on that point. I know civvies miscommunicate all the time, and that I was wrong about FZ., and Rox says there has been a logical refutation of that, but I don't see it at all, and I still don't get how Bass's logic could be explained more soundly by anything other than him slipping on accident. I know he's a careful baddie, but we all make mistakes, and the targeting is unconventional this game. I asked him his read on me; why would he consider and only state my survival for a reason for thinking I'm civvie and then issue no opinion on DF? It just baffles the mind.

Dom, what do you think of Snowy right now? He's gotten some heat so I'm curious.

Wow, I agree that is a weird NK choice. RIPIYWG Llama. Maybe Chick was afraid of him regardless of alignment and wanted him out before he could come back to the thread? Only explanation I can think of.

I still don't understand my interaction with Bass at all. I still believe he could have slipped and I don't get other interpretations to what he said, plain as day. But I'm willing to consider the fact that there was a miscommunication because it is possible.

Considering now what has occurred, I do wonder why Ambray subtly pushed me and agreed with me re: FZ. and my case. Is it because she thought my observations were astute and she is civvie or was she trying to steer the lynch away from a teammate or just trying to manipulate the thread? I honestly don't know.

I know I had a ping of Snow Dog earlier, but I'm not feeling he is bad right now. My reasoning yesterday was due to process of elimination, but considering I was wrong about FZ. and such, that's not a good reason anymore. However, I do feel Snow Dog's posts ever since the one I called out as insincere have been sincere. So I'm holding off on that for now.

Look. As sad as the previous day period was in terms of self-torpedoing, it's not really my worst blunder:

- Hedville Idol on HV: My "band" of three was the only one to not have a mafia member in it, but that didn't stop me from posting over 100 times in D1 convinced that both my bandmates (Rox and Cloggy) were evil and conspiring against me. I got lynched D1 and the other two suffered major heat until their deaths as well.
- LOST on RM: I subbed in and at some point gained BTSC with Typhoony and a bunch of others. Typhoony told me it was generally understood that Dom was Claire. I was Charlie. I then proceeded to gun after Dom in thread and vote him. The subsequent events led to a giant "he said" back and forth where Typhoony and a few others were convinced I lied about being Charlie.
- Minecraft on TS: Possibly the best example of my absolutely pisspoor track record as a civvie. I was resurrected as a confirmed civvie and a few players actually almost lynched me because they thought I was recruited (with no apparent recruiter role) because I was hunting with such conviction so badly.

You'd think I'd learn, and I've tried to scale back my intensity level from time to time, but every game is a reset and sometimes I stumble upon something that I just feel strongly about.

I'm willing to admit my mistakes and I honestly still feel really terrible about derailing the thread. But I won't apologize for baddie hunting and pursuing something I thought was right. If you think any of that makes me suspicious, I can't stop you, nor can I necessarily fault you for it, but it doesn't mean you're right, and it doesn't mean I won't defend myself.

Since I can't see you getting any votes to the point where it'll matter, LC, I'm just going to keep my vote on you. I have a busy day today (I know, rejoice, right? But it's only because I wasted so much time here yesterday), and even when I'm around I don't intend on punishing anyone with lots of entertaining reading material.

So because I took the game seriously and made a bet with someone, an action you don't agree with, you think I'm suspicious?

And Rox, I will take full responsibility for this madness. It seems I was very likely wrong about FZ. That's my fault. I honestly thought I found something completely logically sound. Obviously it was too good to be true.

Well, I still wonder why Bass made the posts he did, and I don't see any where he explained it, so I'm still suspicious of him. But obviously I'm not taking the lead for these lynches any more.
