Return to “Mass Effect Mafia: an HCR & Syndicate crossover”

Sounds good to me.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Hey gang,
malakim and I are hard at work putting the finishing touches on the game. We've run into a few busy days though and are going to need to postpone the start of the game by just a few days -- on the 31st instead of the 28th. Sorry for the delay and I appreciate everyone's patience. We just want to make sure everything is good to go before we throw you into the fire.
JaggedJimmyJay wrote:The tentative start date for this is the 28th. Further details coming as available.
I love hosting these games too. Expect plenty more to follow.Sloonei wrote:We occasionally have Heists where all players are given alternate accounts (we call them socks/sockpuppets) to post fully in character as whatever their sock is. Usually MP hosts these games, he's been working through a series of sitcom themed games and they're always a lot of fun and full of flavor. If you enjoy roleplaying I would highly recommending checking one of these games out if a theme ever piques your interest.malakim2099 wrote:This one actually won HCRealms Mass Effect mafia as Blasto.Sloonei wrote:All players in this game will actually be either elcor or hanar. Roleplay is required.
This one also posted (mostly) in character the entire game as a self-imposed post restriction.
Futurama is my personal favorite so far, if that wasn't apparent from my banners.
Intriguing! That'll be neat.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:That's quite alright. The setup will be such that it shouldn't matter. Speaking of that:Long Con wrote:I know nothing about Mass Effect, I hope that will be ok.
This will be a semi-open setup, merging the visibility of traditional Syndicate games with the claim-friendly environment of HCR games. By "semi-open", I mean there will be more roles listed than players participating -- you'll know what roles can be in the game, but not what roles are in the game.
JaggedJimmyJay wrote:I am less surprised that you have all these .gifs and more surprised that you're able to recall such appropriate examples so quickly.
Likewise! I hate that I had to replace out of your Christmas game, ended up being a bad time after a week or so since I traveled back home for a couple of weeks.colonialbob wrote:Good to see you too! Looking forward to actually playing with you folks.MovingPictures07 wrote:Hey Cbob! gfishfunk wrote:Possible fake claims:
I am the effect.
I am the mass.
I'm an independent: an effect that is small.
I'm the cop, and I weigh things to determine its mass.
I'm the cause, and this game is its mass effect.
Then again, maybe I should check a wiki before the game starts...

Ahem. I mean, sure, I'd play or co-mod if you need one from the HCRealms side of things.
To be honest, I know enough about Mass Effectthat either one wouldn't be a problem if that's the angle taken.
That is complete and utter fiction, I assure you.
Really.

How about G.F. Funk? Makes him sound like a member of Parliament/Funkadelic.JaggedJimmyJay wrote:Glad to have you, gfishfunk.
