You all really were a pleasure, I'd play a game with this playerlist again anytime. Hopefully when more of us have more time!

Congrats to Hally, you earned it absolutely.

I don't feel at all happy with my performance this game and I don't really want to talk about it. I wish I could have better communicated some of my thoughts and I consistently felt like I couldn't work with anyone but I take the burden of that and I never felt like I could settle into anything. I am not emotionally in a good enough place to be playing mafia apparently, despite the fact that it's served a solid place in my life even in many times where I have been in a similar state. I'm sorry for my part in making anything uncomfortable for anyone.

I still appreciate Alison for hosting and to fellow players for giving this a try. I think the 72-hour cycles were an original appeal of the game because I thought I certainly couldn't play anything else and I don't think anything went wrong per se.

That's fine, I just make games unfun, I'm done and I'm out of time anyway. Have a fun game. Sorry I ruined it for everyone.

I doubt I'll be back before the deadline at this rate so that's great. I don't know what to do.

And honestly I have my own thoughts on the excessive AtE rule but I always hated its recent implementation for this exact reason because now I feel even more ashamed for even getting emotional about a game.

You know what, I'm so beyond frustrated and confused just yeet me already and have fun in F3. It's not anyone else's fault it's entirely my own, I just feel ashamed. I don't want anyone to feel bad. My thoughts on Hally were not designed to be a fucking case. They are not a case. I don't appreciate them being interpreted as such. I really don't know who the person is but my gut thinks it's most likely Hally and I don't know if I believe that anymore. Just you know what, I suck this game, I deserve it anyway. I couldn't figure out cayvie at all just because I was really afraid to misyeet her again after she was really unconventional in our practice game, and honestly if you look at my ISO for non-cayvie reads too you won't find them I only town read Hally on D1 for the most part because I could never find my groove this game and I certainly don't have it now.

And I just feel like I’ve been talking past Hally and Ran and earlier Hyena and I don’t know what to do about it, like sure I do try to find town but I can’t find anyone in this game and it’s so disorienting

I’m sorry I really do care I promise but I’m not in a good place emotionally and with my schedule tomorrow I don’t know what I’m going to do and I really don’t want to be misyeeted and I honestly don’t know that it’s Hally I just think it is and I don’t know about Mist I haven’t really gotten to talk to her but she seems lost and I don’t feel like an agenda there

I don’t know when I can make it tomorrow I have so much to do and then I teach right up through the deadline

I'm sorry everyone! I'm really swamped, I'll do things when I can. This phase is pretty much the worst three-day timing for me.

I'll more thoroughly explore the other three worlds tomorrow when I can, I'm exhausted now.

Yeah, I teach Mondays through Wednesdays, and my life has ten million things going on right now, but I'll hop on when I can.

Some Hally thoughts:

- I sort of feel like Hally's hunting this game is more like shading. Especially their thoughts on sabie during Night 1 seem sort of designed to make sabie look suspicious more than actually get at sabie's alignment. And Hally's asked some questions to me too and I felt like they never really were trying to assess my role card.
- Hally and cayvie interacted a ton, and some of the banter is... weird?
- Hally had cayvie and Hyena at the bottom in their D1 reads list after voting cayvie earlier for their thought not being a real thought... which is sort of strange how Hally sort of drops? it almost reads like a forced suspicion too in retrospect, switches their vote to Hyena (which cayvie was also pushing), then switches back to cayvie, and like... I don't feel like the reads organically develop over the course of the rest of D1? They just sort of park on cayvie and makes it seem like they're considering other things but I don't sense much in terms of gears-turning so to speak.

If I were cayvie's teammate and she threw out that theory early on D1 and then vanished, I actually think some distancing like Hally did and then subsequent exploring of options and then parking on teammate while keeping options open would be the easiest way to ensure a win. It gives her the option to coast until endgame and/or switch off of cayvie onto someone like Hyena if Hyena hadn't suddenly become townread by enough of the thread for that to go away.

Every other player... sabie, Mist, Ran are all evidently trying to at least figure the game out? Or at least seem turbulent and lost? Hally has tried to make it seem like that but... I feel like their posting during Night 1 was lacking any sort of town spark like that.

Hally is the player most set up to win if they're scum out of any of us, and I think that's by design.

Done working, and... I expected more than that.

I actually think it's Hally.

I'll talk more later, can't much right now. Just had gamestate thoughts percolating in the back of my mind this whole time. Hally's actions seem agenda-compatible to me at this moment.

Ran, what do you make of sabie getting defensive over that interpretation?

I guess my instinct still says it's either Mist or sabie, but like... sabie has had moments where imo it seemed like she was the last one but she also has had posts where I feel like they were really genuine, so I'm torn, and then Mist feels too easy somehow?

It's possible that it's Hally and they are seemingly keeping their options open. In a way I never really feel like they made any effort to truly figure out my alignment.

I just don't understand why someone would give us that information. Maybe they want to because setting up a POE of townies and then encouraging yeeting within that is worth it because then we're falsely using that information?

I'm wondering the same thing. Sabie or Mist could be too easy, and Sabie feels genuine to me. Mist is the ultimate easy button solution. As great as that would be, we should consider other options thoroughly.

I'll make sure to see if Hally or Ran bussing makes sense I guess. It is a really small game, maybe bussing your vengeful partner is a worthwhile consideration given how quickly the game gets to LYLO?

I hope you feel better! Sinus infections suck. I was feeling awful myself for similar reasons on Friday.

Hmmm yeah I guess the wording was poor. It just felt like sabie was trying to have it both ways and it read awkwardly to me.

Oh huh, I see what you mean. I just thought it meant sabie was acting with TMI, I didn't really think of it from whether cayvie was town or scum specifically because either way it felt like sabie was dancing around cayvie and she knew cayvie's alignment, you know?
