Might I recommend not watching any of the six episodes in Season 1.

I watched the first episode of Season 1 a while back and it didn't really grab me. Just seemed like an Office knock-off show that wasn't very funny. But I have just incredibly recently given it another chance and it appears to ascend SO much more at the beginning of S2. I can't confirm this since I'm still a huge newbie myself, but based on what I talked to others about and from what I've watched, this seems to be the case. So that's my recommendation.

It really hits its stride starting in Season 2, Episode 1. I've laughed til I cried. Plus, that's when the characters really develop more nuanced personas, and you will be able to see the Alison & Logan in Leslie & Ron.
